FordTechMakuloco your videos have been essential in troubleshooting my 2009 Escape.
My Escape was manufactured 06/09 and the hazards method does work on mine.
The back left tire has been producing a fault after rotation and appears to be reading at least 2 psi low through ODBII. I ordered the TPMS19 to see if that will set it properly.

Hey I've got a 2009 f150 and did the relearn trick you showed but didn't need to use the relearn tool. Just let the air out for like 5-10 seconds once your in relearn mode. Worked like a charm. My tire shop here couldn't figure it out. Thank you for this video. Super easy to do. I love when ford does stuff like this to make it easy. I wish they had a manual that showed you all the things you can program by turning a key. 🤣

Thanks for the great video. I was trying to reset my TMS system due to the message I start receiving when I switched from winter to summer tires on rims on my 2010 Focus. I was pressing three times on and off the hazard light and it promoted me to the left front tire. But when I was releasing pressure it didn't honk until the pressure goes too low and it honk two times. I try this technic for a few times with the same result. Do you think I have done this wrong or I need the training tool now? Thanks in advance.

Hello thanks for the very informational video! I have a 2007 Parnelli Jones Mustang that just turned 12K miles that sits a lot! This winter I let it sit all winter with only starting it a couple of times. I went out the other day to start it and the battery was dead! When I put a new battery in it had a "tire pressure monitor fault" code on the dash! I had never had that before. It has the rubber valve stems! Do you think retraining the sensors is the right move based on what is going on? So would I order the one with the button in the middle? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

as a self-teaching, Learning "Mechanic In Training" I can honestly say your videos have helped me with my Fords and sometimes even transfer the knowledge onto other brands of vehicles that my friends have me service.. I know your strictly a Ford Guru to say the least, but My customer has a 2009 chevy traverse with one TPMS Sensor not reading its the back right one as the Traverse will show TP on the instrument cluster in Information Mode.. it will display it as Rear Right: -- and have the warning check service TPMS.. this car is how i first learned how to reset the Sensors and that theres an exact procedure to ensure it registers as 1..2...3..4.. LF...RF...RR..LR.. But do u know if the air release method would work on a 09 chevy since you said that was about when the F150s started popping up around 09 as well.? tried to borrow the tool from local "o'rielys" where half the people working there are high school afficianados who im pretty sure dont own a car or even know what a car is.. but this one kid started looking on this laminated piece of paper after i asked if they loaned the relearn tool, and he only looked at one side of the paper and told me no and im not even sure if he knew what the tool was tbh. thanks

Great video thanks. Is there any way to reset sensor to a lower pressure. I have an e150 2014 and the manufacturer rear pressure is 80 psi. 99.9% of the time I carry 2 toddlers in the back and that’s it. The rear seats are removed as well. Needless to say it’s pretty stiff back there. It’s much smoother when I deflate to about 65. But then I have to look at that tpms light. Also my last set of tires had center wear indicative of higher pressure. Thoughts?

When in training mode will it adjust to a higher pressure? I have a 2007 f150 that I switched out to load range E tires. The dash light went off on the way home from the shop. The tires were at 38psi. I lowered them to 35 and the light stayed off. However, during towing I intend to run them around 50-60. Wondering if this method only is to identify/activate sensors or if it actually sets safe psi limits.

Good evening, been a subscriber for a couple of years and really have learned a lot. I just bought a set of new take offs from a local dealer, the price was right and the wheels and tires are new. I put the new tirs.on my 2015 F150 plat and for the first 10 miles the pressures remained the same as with the old tires and wheels then suddenly got and failure light. I have the ford reset tool , did not work, I have tried the releasing of air until it had mo air left. The tires I bought from the deal had probably been sitting in the parts dept for at least one year and probably 2 , the date on the tires are 1417. Any advice to reactivate the current tpms sensors.

William - I have this exact issue with my 2011 F-150. Installed new take offs and can’t get the sensors to train to my truck. Did you get this resolved? If so, how? Thanks.

Hi, I was able to do the letting air out method to the point where the dash said training complete so I turned the key off. But when I started the car the TPMS low tire pressure warning came back on. I drove my truck a bit to see if it would turn off but it didn’t. What else could be wrong? Thanks in advance! I have a 2011 E350 Super Duty van.

I have a 2010 mercury grand Marquis will this work for it. My tire sensor light flashes stays on for awhile then shuts off. I did just recently get new tires put on at a Walmart so I don't think they retrained my tpms after they installed my tires.

I bought a set of 4 new Motorcraft sensor's. I only go dealer on these. Anyway the Display is reading Tire Pressure Sensor Fault. Does this display when one or more sensors have failed/not communicating? Or does this display when a module for the TPMS or any fault in general occurs. I just wanted to confirm that ordering new sensors was the right way to go, or there are other possible issues. I have the ATEQ tool but it only reads the driver front wheel in learning mode. I am assuming the other 3 are bad since they won't read when you hit test or activate. I work primarily on GM but most systems are somewhat similar. Would you agree the sensors have failed. I had a generic system code on my SolusPro that online just said fault in tpms system. Thanks for your input.

I am having all kinds of faults going off on my dash. We tried a different cluster and that was not the problem. It always starts with this light first so I am wondering if that is my issue. I have an 08 Taurus. I get TPM, door ajar, park brake engaged all flashig at once or staying on and then none of my signal work inside the car. Very irritating! Have you seen this before? No one can seem to figure it out. It is intermittent but when hooked up no codes are coming up.
