Chasing Canadian Pacific Across Northern Maine - CPKC 120 (CP 8604) Chase 7-2-2023

CPKC 120 on 7-2-2023 - chase from Jackman to Bodfish, ME

On 7-2, we would go to Jackman in hopes of finding 120. When we got there, they were getting their permissions through Customs. We would watch them take 15 minutes to clear the scanner, then we would go to Long Pond.
Finally, the American crew showed up and 120 was on the move towards Brownville.
Then we would move on to Greenville. We thought that they would show up quickly, but they sure didn’t. We would arrive around 4 PM, and at 4:45 they still hadn’t shown up. We would call it a day, up until I saw 120 go through the Greenville Train Cam at about 5 PM.
With this new info, we would take a turn up the mountain and go to Bodfish. We would make it with only a few minutes to spare.
