I was a bit annoyed by it in your most recent video, but funnily enough not in this one because it actually fit the tone of the song and the brightness and visuals were not so dark that it completely blocked it out.

Be careful, Liite! You've just stepped into a musical world that is unlike any other group. Queen was, in their heyday, a group that was constantly evolving their music. The more you learn about them, the more you will grow to appreciate the absolute musical genius that was Queen. And if you want more of Freddie, he released two solo projects; "Mr. Bad Guy" , a terrific album, and "Barcelona," a duet album with opera diva Monserrat Caballe, which is simply phenomenal!

This song is written by Brian May who sings the opening also plays the synth then switches to his guitar. John is on upright bass and Roger on percussion. Freddie is so powerful on the vocals and Brian is smooth as silk. This song was written for the movie Highlander for which Queen wrote and performed the soundtrack. I always think this song ends too quickly, too. What an incredible band Queen is, every bit of this video is perfection. Thank you for your reaction.

An absolute fantastic reaction to the best band EVER. I have been a Queen fan for nearly 35 years now having discovered them when I was 16 years old at LIVE AID in July 1985. I have seen Queen many times live including at Wembley in 1986 (twice) and then Freddie's last appearance live with Queen at Knebworth in August 1986 when there were 150,000 of us in the crowd. Freddie has always been my hero and was AND STILL IS the greatest performer of all time. Once you're on the Queen journey you'll find it very hard to get off. Please please please do more Queen. Queen is the only band that actually sound equally as good (if not better) than their studio versions. They were/are very talented. Listed below are some further performances YOU MUST MUST MUST react to, you simply won't believe it :
Live Aid - July 1985 (20 minutes long but is a MUST DO)
Dragon Attack - Live Montreal 1981
Save Me - Live Montreal 1981
Under Pressure - Live Wembley 1986
Who Wants to Live Forever - Live Wembley 1986
Love of my Life - Live Wembley 1986
Another One Bites the Dust - Live Wembley 1986
    Now I'm Here - Live Wembley 1986
One Vision - Live Wembley 1986
One Vision - DOCUMENTARY [shows the band members actually creating the song One Vision]
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE carry on with the Queen reactions, you'll be inundated with followers/subscribes as they are just as popular today as they were many many many years ago. RIP Freddie xxxx
If it helps Queen do not block any of their live/studio performances.
    Stay safe from Manchester UK

Another masterpiece from Queen started with the silky voice of Brian May before the power of Freddie came in. It does not normally end as abruptly as that did.

Queen was to rock-Pop music what Mozart was to classical . They were the measure by which all the rock -pop bands of the 70's strive'd to emulate. Freddie's uncanny charisma, operatically trained voice, and Spot on theatricality, combined with Brian May's symphonic guitar sounds, Rodgers impeccable drumming , and John's equally stellar Bass made (the most) untouchable band , and hands down the greatest rock band of the 20th century.
They were doing things musically in the 70's that were not mainstream for yet another 25 years. I personally have been following queen since I was mesmerized as a little boy in Ashtabula Ohio in 1975, when I first heard them.
To date with very few exceptions,I have not heard any other band that can squeeze the emotion out of every note like they did. Sadly, and I hate to say this, but this IS the truth .
The difference between today's pop/ rock. Country, Rap or whatever Genre you listen to, and the music back in the day was this : With the GREAT legends of the past like Aretha Franklin , Michael Jackson, Queen, and many other legendary trailblazers is , that .
Today, it is all about Me, Me, Me..all about the Artist, , their ego , their social media popularity, and overnight fame., Every performance is a showcase where they may as well be screaming " Hey Look at me and how wonderful I am , I am a star" .But back in those days it was all about (The Audience) The artists sang, spoke , performed to the audience first and foremost. The audience was the Most important person in the room , and they knew it . Everyone knew when Freddie was done with a show, that he had just vocally made love to them. And they gave the love back to him. Go watch the live performance of Freddie's beautiful love ballad " Love of My Life" There is a moment where the audience takes the song and begins to sing it to Freddie, Had Freddie not joined back in , they would have gladly sung the song to him entirely. I dare say there will NEVER be another like him . RIP Great Mercury!

Silky is a good way to describe Brian's voice. Freddie and Brian broke down their voices in an interview to describe why the three singers sound so good together. They said, Roger has super high range (technically he is not going into falsetto when he goes as high as he does) and a raspy voice. Freddie can go low and has a crystal clear voice and vibrato which is so rich. Brian's voice is mid-range and soft and warm which helps tone down the sound of Roger's rasp.
Brian wrote that song (for the movie Highlander) and he usually sings the vocals on the demo when he writes. There are times when they keep his voice for the album but mostly Freddie re-recorded the vocal track. In this song, they decided Brian's soft mournful voice in the demo fit the first verse but Freddie comes in as the music begins to crescendo. I think that worked perfect. There are times that Freddie's really powerful voice almost dwarfs the song and I think that would have happened for the beginning of this song.

Thanks, Lite - don't know where all that wacky "fireworks" came from (??-wtf??) -- and yes, Brian started singing on the original version - (he is my love -- lol) - but when Freddie comes in, you can just tell the difference... a great song - written by Brian and featured in the original "Highlander" movie... along with a few other Queen songs...

This is one of my favourite tracks ever, it's from the soundtrack to Highlander. Queen did the soundtrack for that and Flash Gordon as well as incidental music in other movies. "Gimme the prize" is another belter from Highlander.
2:07 That's Brian May, lead guitarist. You can tell by the permaperm, him and his wife had the same hairdo for years.
The string arrangement in this is why I always wished that Queen had done a Bond Theme

When you listen to Queen, you’re hearing one of the TOP 3 SINGERS OF ALL TIME!!! Freddie Mercury is BEYOND AMAZING. Not only was he an amazing showman, but THAT VOICE OMFG. The man could sing a bunch of gibberish and make it sound heavenly.
In my opinion, there are very few BEST OF THE BEST. They’re people who have reached absolute perfection in their craft. They’re untouchable. Freddie Mercury is one. Steve Perry (Journey). Tupac. Eminem. The Beatles. They are THE BEST OF THE BEST. Elvis and Dr Dre are in there too. The untouchables. Not just once in a lifetime, but the ONE AND ONLY. There will never be another Freddie. There will never be another Tupac. There will never be another Beatles. I feel honored to have been graced with their music, during their lives. I’ve seen some of them in concert. No others will ever top them.
    RIP Freddie and Tupac💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
