#Queen #Reaction - Zábava
Had To Put an Overlay Over The Music Video So It Wouldn't Get Blocked, I don't redo reactions so I have to make whatever work...work. Lol. Enjoy
Queen doesn't block.
oh hahahahaha Is that where the fireworks came from?? Very creative. ;D
Looked well lol
That's interesting. I've seen this song from Queen official reacted to several times. Your fireworks do the job though! Normally Queen official does not block.....
I was a bit annoyed by it in your most recent video, but funnily enough not in this one because it actually fit the tone of the song and the brightness and visuals were not so dark that it completely blocked it out.
Great reaction. This song always gives me fucking chills man. CHILLS.
In the movie Highlander, this is the song that plays when the Highlanders wife grows old and dies, while he, being immortal doesn't age at all....
The amazing part of this is the fact that Brian May wrote this in back of his car after seeing the scene where his wife dies.
The real feels punch is right at the end, when she asks him why he stayed and went through the torment of helplessly watching her wither and die.
His answer is simply "I love you."
Every moment he spent with her was, in his mind, worth the pain.
Cried my eyes out as a young Scottish kid watching this scene. ❤️
Bawled watching that... Especially with the song.. 😢
This song.. its so beautiful, and one of the only songs that nearly brings me to tears.
As beautiful as this version is, the live version is just simply incredible, either Wembley or Budapest.
Have you experienced them live?
@@floridahippyman1984 I've seen 3 full concerts, my last one was Live at the Bowl in '82 and was at Live Aid Wembley '85. All were amazing, there is so much energy and electricity at their shows, pure class.
Wembley is great but Budapest is fire! Freddie's voice is so clear, utter perfection!
Yes, Budapest!
@@floridahippyman1984 I almost got to see them in Detroit in 1981. But none of my friends would take me across the border. I was two weeks from having my daughter. What did they think? I'd give birth on stage? Flip forward twenty-five years. My daughter missed out seeing them for the same reason. But I think I had it worse. I missed out on seeing Freddie. The real deal. There's one on my bucket list I'll never fulfill.
Be careful, Liite! You've just stepped into a musical world that is unlike any other group. Queen was, in their heyday, a group that was constantly evolving their music. The more you learn about them, the more you will grow to appreciate the absolute musical genius that was Queen. And if you want more of Freddie, he released two solo projects; "Mr. Bad Guy" , a terrific album, and "Barcelona," a duet album with opera diva Monserrat Caballe, which is simply phenomenal!
I'm so happy to read your post. Be careful is 100% right because Queen draws you in and then no other band grabs you like them! And Barcelona!! Omgosh, Heavenly. I've watched it 50 times and Still get chills. Great post. Thanks!
my suggestion is "show must go on " it has such a sad backround story
The Show Must Go On is the best last song by Freddie.
Yes, I was going to make that suggestion also. So poignant.
A MUST
This song is written by Brian May who sings the opening also plays the synth then switches to his guitar. John is on upright bass and Roger on percussion. Freddie is so powerful on the vocals and Brian is smooth as silk. This song was written for the movie Highlander for which Queen wrote and performed the soundtrack. I always think this song ends too quickly, too. What an incredible band Queen is, every bit of this video is perfection. Thank you for your reaction.
Later versions of the cd release of "Kind of Magic" included a gorgeous instrumental version of this song titled "Forever". It was not included on the original release of the album or cd. Highly recommended if you can find it.
FWIW Brian May also has a PhD in Astrophysics
it ends too quickly in the video version. On the record version is the actual cut of the song.
Any Queen song is a must, any live performance is a bonus. Another One Bites The Dust is a real banger.
Definitely!!
Especially the one at Wembley
Another One Bites The Dust was my intro to Queen. A co-worker would sing the chorus every time she lost an account. The insurance industry was in a down cycle at the time, so I heard it alot.
Another One Bites The Dust was the first Queen song I ever heard...a coworker would sing it every time she lost an account.
Nothing beats Queen. Freddie and the guys were over too soon. I love ❤ Queen. Be at a high school football game one night. And they will rock you!!
Live in Budapest is definitely the way to go with live version of Who Wants to Live Forever.
Agreed!
I have made my boys promise that this will be played at my funeral! While it’s hard to pick a favorite song from Queen, this one is in my top five! Not many people know that Brian May has such a beautiful voice too!
I think I would prefer "The show must go on".
or, for a last laugh, "Another one bites the dust"
:O)
I also hate when I listen to Queen and the song ends hahah
Live is better
Queen usually doesn't block their videos 💛
I was about to say this, they are just happy that their music is still appreciated.
I personally love Brian May's voice (the beginning of the song) it's so soft and tender, the flip side of the voices on Queen, and this song was written by him. 🥰
Fun fact about this music video. Roger Taylor (the drummer) was so drunk during the filming of this music video that it took them many times to film it because he couldn’t hit the drums on time 😂. Great reaction!
I heard that’s why he’s just wearing Denham while the others were dressed to the nines. How handsome is Freddie in a tux?
WHAAAAAT😆 No WONDER he looked like he was concentrating so hard on that drum.
😂🤣😂🤣 Roger!!
I think poor Roger was “hungover” from drinking at a party the night before. The loud music probablty “hurt”!! 😂
@@barbaramendoza2202 🤣🎶🎵🤢🤯♥️
An absolute fantastic reaction to the best band EVER. I have been a Queen fan for nearly 35 years now having discovered them when I was 16 years old at LIVE AID in July 1985. I have seen Queen many times live including at Wembley in 1986 (twice) and then Freddie's last appearance live with Queen at Knebworth in August 1986 when there were 150,000 of us in the crowd. Freddie has always been my hero and was AND STILL IS the greatest performer of all time. Once you're on the Queen journey you'll find it very hard to get off. Please please please do more Queen. Queen is the only band that actually sound equally as good (if not better) than their studio versions. They were/are very talented. Listed below are some further performances YOU MUST MUST MUST react to, you simply won't believe it :
Live Aid - July 1985 (20 minutes long but is a MUST DO)
Dragon Attack - Live Montreal 1981
Save Me - Live Montreal 1981
Under Pressure - Live Wembley 1986
Who Wants to Live Forever - Live Wembley 1986
Love of my Life - Live Wembley 1986
Another One Bites the Dust - Live Wembley 1986
Now I'm Here - Live Wembley 1986
One Vision - Live Wembley 1986
One Vision - DOCUMENTARY [shows the band members actually creating the song One Vision]
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE carry on with the Queen reactions, you'll be inundated with followers/subscribes as they are just as popular today as they were many many many years ago. RIP Freddie xxxx
If it helps Queen do not block any of their live/studio performances.
Stay safe from Manchester UK
Awesome comment!! And I’m jealous you saw Queen live! Amazing, right?
@@debramoore7513 something I'll never forget x
Just seeing this, always a boost to see comments about Queen (which I'd also say) 😊
I have been waiting all week for your Queen reaction. You have so much to hear from our Mr. Freddie Mercury.
aaaayyyy oooohhhh 😍
This song is the Theme Tune to the Film Highlander Queen does all the music to the Highlander films.
One of the songs that Queen wrote for the Highlander movie starring Christopher Lambert, Clancy Brown, and Sean Connery RIP. Other songs for the movie are definitely worth a listen - PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE, ONE YEAR OF LOVE, GIMME THE PRIZE, DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD, A KIND OF MAGIC! You know it will take a couple years to react to all Queen’s music catalog!! 👑👑 I’m all in - 😂
Freddie is just majestic
Oh isn't he though. In that tux and that singing he is just glorious. Well, he always is but that tux just adds another layer of gloriousness. 😊😊😊💜💜💜
If you want to experience majestic performance, watch the live version at wembley or budapest. You will be speechless...just to say the least...I promise 😎💯🔥👑
Please please do "The Show Must Go On" also by Queen....please
I was around 19 when this song came out in the 80’s, right in the middle of the AIDS crisis. I cried every time I heard it.
Since listening to studio versions is something you like to do first, you should listen to, You Take My Breath Away and also the live version at Hyde Park.
Yes! Beat me to it! Great choice 👏
Great request and a must reaction. I love the Hyde Park performance. It's so raw and real and new. Freddie is amazing as always. 💙💙💙💙🌞🌞🌞🌞💜💜💜💜
Absolutely
Older stuff like Killer Queen is awesome too.
And not very popular but super fun is flash Gordon.
Killer Queen (Top of the Pops Version) is a must. The turning point in their career. Plus I think you'd appreciate the wardrobe etc.
You'll like SAVE ME...live version is good
From Montreal 1981!
I agree, also white queen, live at the Hammersmith stadium, and you take my breath away, I think that's at hide park in London, maybe in 1982 my fellow die hard queen fans?
@@jamesfretwell1511 I love that song...
@@jamesfretwell1511 Oh for sure White Queen and the Odeon.
Who put the fireworks in this???? But hey, Freddie had a VOICE... I love that voice. That voice is everything to me. Just beautiful and Powerful...
2:07 The Singer is Brian May the Guitarist, together with Roger Taylor the Drummer he does backing Vocals, but still Roger is the main Background Vocalist, Brian often steps away from the mic and Let Roger do it as he is the main background singer. 3:22 Yes there is just no way to not smile on that amazing Note and Voice. 5:27 You can react to the Live Version at Wembley or Budapest too if you wanna hear it again, its worth checking Queen songs more than once. Great Reaction :)
Roger Taylor is a falsetto. Beautiful voice.
I remember hearing this song for the first time while watching Highlander.
I am 66 years old my favourite band of all time is Queen 👑 there will never ever be another Fred ❤❤
You HAVE to watch the I Want to Break Free music video next! The song and video is great!
Dr Brian May, 1st singer & keyboard/guitar 🎸 🎹 player, wrote this song. It & some others were written for The Highlander movies & TV series.
Dr Brian May PhD in astrophysics!! And HUGE animal activist!!!
The album version has a proper ending with a 40 second instrumental that’s moody and beautiful. I think they cut it out for length for the single version. Well worth checking it out along with the live, which has a different shorter ending again.
The show must go on by Queen 🌟❤️
React to Bohemian rhapsody live at Montreal
Freddy Mercury performed this at Wembley, after being diagnosed as HIV+.
It was written and performed initially, around when he was getting tested and unsure of why he was becoming ill.
That takes a level of passion and skill that still blows my mind.
The studio version is indeed incredible, I love the interplay between Brian and Freddie's voices and the video is superb. I have to agree though....live with Freddie singing it all with his powerful and breathtaking voice....IMO.. the best rendition live of this song at the Nepstadion concert from Budapest...his voice is even stronger here than at Wembley....
@Alexandra Ry Totally agree with you, I really love the Budapest version too!!
White Queen live at Hammersmith 1975 is a stunning performance with a long and extremely emotional guitar solo. Highly recommend, it's also a very popular one with queen fans too
It is Brian May ( the guitarist) who sings the first verse and who wrote this for the movie “highlander”.
I was at a Queen concert in Montreal, in Nov 1981. It was my 24th birthday gift to myself. One of the best memories of my life. Freddie also passed on my birthday 10 years later. Ever since I light a candle and play this song. It was actually written for the original movie Highlander with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. Pretty good movie, these vocals, and lyrics are a beautiful part of it, to be sure.
Another beautiful Queen song. They are all so talented. Freddie's voice never ceases to amaze me. Love him and Queen. Such an incredible band. Thank you for another great reaction. Love how you appreciate the talent that is Queen. And of course Freddie's vocals. They all sing except for John but Freddie is just outstanding. Much love. 💙💙💙💜💜💜🌞🌞🌞🌞
hey Lasuna!
Listen to, you take my breath away, live at hide park I think. My favourite queen performance ever is, white queen live at the Hammersmith Stadium.
The one who has the silky smooth voice at the beginning is the guitarist Brian May, incredible how he can be such a genius with his instrument and also have such a great voice.
You are joyful to watch. If you want a longer one, try Innuendo
Many people will request Wembley for the live version, but maybe only because they don’t know how good Budapest is. For me, their Budapest performance is well... WOW! Freddie is at his absolute charismatic best in that one. I love this song so much
Budapest gets overshadowed by Wembley (which is too bad)... Just like Milton Keynes gets overlooked due to Montreal.🖖
I agree totally
@@marciebulsaraorcutt yes, especially Somebody to love
This was made for the movie "The Highlander". A clip is available here on youtube during a scene in the movie.
This is absolutely beautiful. Check out "Love of my life" as well.
Love of my Life live at Rio or Wembley. The absolutely HUGE crowd at Rio did not speak English, but the all sang the song in English with enthusiasm!! 😍
I cried, like I always do. Freddie can be in every video from beyond, and he should be
It got cut off. That's why it seems so short. Please please listen to the live version the song is amazing
This song is powerful as Freddie was diagnosed with HIV. An amazing singer gone too soon. Miss seeing him live. Great video. Thanks
@Pug Mama This song has nothing to do with Freddie’s health. It was written by Brian for the movie Highlander. About an Immortal and his pain watching his beloved wife grow old and then die, while he remains young and lives forever. They all wrote songs for the movie.
Definitely Seven Seas of Rhye soon. Early as well :D
Queen 2!!!!!
@@yanisfadi1730 Either one, but Freddie actually sings in that one lmao
His vocals are even better live!!
Wembley 1986. 😍
This is great and I love it. for the live version do the Wembley 1986. It's truly fantastic. Only 4 people instead of a choir and orchestra but really out of this world.
Wimbledon? You might want to edit that. I presume you mean Wembley?
@@trishbelfield5941 yeah, your right.
Another masterpiece from Queen started with the silky voice of Brian May before the power of Freddie came in. It does not normally end as abruptly as that did.
Yeah that felt super short.
Brian May guitarist sings the introduction!
I think you'd like "White Queen " live from the Hammersmith Odeon
Live versions of
Stone Cold Crazy
Under Pressure
White Queen
Dragon Attack, you'll love how groovy this is
Great reaction again 👌
Not just a orchestra, but a choir too!
They are just sooo goood!!!
There won't ever be another freddie mercury voice of an angel 😢
yes yes love the song so powerful, nice reaction😊 ‘cant wait to see you react the live version😊...
This is the song that literally helped me through my mums death, she saw queen live. It’s an extra special, and my favourite queen song!
This song is even better live! 😉
The guy playing guitar, Brian May, is actually a PHD scientist, focusing on stopping mad astroids hitting our planet. He also did the song "everything we do is driven by you" for a major car maker... This song come from the original Highlander movies with sean connery. worth a watch
Queen was to rock-Pop music what Mozart was to classical . They were the measure by which all the rock -pop bands of the 70's strive'd to emulate. Freddie's uncanny charisma, operatically trained voice, and Spot on theatricality, combined with Brian May's symphonic guitar sounds, Rodgers impeccable drumming , and John's equally stellar Bass made (the most) untouchable band , and hands down the greatest rock band of the 20th century.
They were doing things musically in the 70's that were not mainstream for yet another 25 years. I personally have been following queen since I was mesmerized as a little boy in Ashtabula Ohio in 1975, when I first heard them.
To date with very few exceptions,I have not heard any other band that can squeeze the emotion out of every note like they did. Sadly, and I hate to say this, but this IS the truth .
The difference between today's pop/ rock. Country, Rap or whatever Genre you listen to, and the music back in the day was this : With the GREAT legends of the past like Aretha Franklin , Michael Jackson, Queen, and many other legendary trailblazers is , that .
Today, it is all about Me, Me, Me..all about the Artist, , their ego , their social media popularity, and overnight fame., Every performance is a showcase where they may as well be screaming " Hey Look at me and how wonderful I am , I am a star" .But back in those days it was all about (The Audience) The artists sang, spoke , performed to the audience first and foremost. The audience was the Most important person in the room , and they knew it . Everyone knew when Freddie was done with a show, that he had just vocally made love to them. And they gave the love back to him. Go watch the live performance of Freddie's beautiful love ballad " Love of My Life" There is a moment where the audience takes the song and begins to sing it to Freddie, Had Freddie not joined back in , they would have gladly sung the song to him entirely. I dare say there will NEVER be another like him . RIP Great Mercury!
Silky is a good way to describe Brian's voice. Freddie and Brian broke down their voices in an interview to describe why the three singers sound so good together. They said, Roger has super high range (technically he is not going into falsetto when he goes as high as he does) and a raspy voice. Freddie can go low and has a crystal clear voice and vibrato which is so rich. Brian's voice is mid-range and soft and warm which helps tone down the sound of Roger's rasp.
Brian wrote that song (for the movie Highlander) and he usually sings the vocals on the demo when he writes. There are times when they keep his voice for the album but mostly Freddie re-recorded the vocal track. In this song, they decided Brian's soft mournful voice in the demo fit the first verse but Freddie comes in as the music begins to crescendo. I think that worked perfect. There are times that Freddie's really powerful voice almost dwarfs the song and I think that would have happened for the beginning of this song.
Thanks, Lite - don't know where all that wacky "fireworks" came from (??-wtf??) -- and yes, Brian started singing on the original version - (he is my love -- lol) - but when Freddie comes in, you can just tell the difference... a great song - written by Brian and featured in the original "Highlander" movie... along with a few other Queen songs...
Great reaction!!! Bohemian rhapsody live in Milton Keynes is fantastic!!! Our play the game live in Montreal fantastic to!!👍
It was an intense experience, that is why you felt that way. The man is a God. So sad he died so early.
I love your reactions and love for Queen's music. Freddie Mercury is a musical god and a legend. He will live forever!
He was so sick at this time, I can’t believe he was able to get the energy to sing this .
My favourite Queen song of all time, played at my brothers funeral, will be played at mine too.
WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER, live at Wembley is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had the good fortune of seeing them 3 times, Hamersmith Palais, Earlscourt & a small capacity gig called the Orchid Ballrooms in Purley, Surrey. There were around 200 of us and very exclusive, Freddie came in on Superman's shoulders, the stage was only about 2ft high...........what an experience💪👍💪👍
Love this! And it is always so interesting to me when rock bands bring in the orchestra! You would think that the two wouldn’t go together but I have yet to see this happen where it didn’t sound absolutely fantastic! Now please, react to the live version. You will find it very different, but still wonderful. ❤️
You have to watch their live aid concert, out of all the bands at the concert, we only remember THAT performance.
My brother's all time favourite band, my sister in law had this song played at his funeral service.
Please try live version at Budapest, you will love it
The live version is great. live at Wembley1986. Live is always better with Queen.
This is one of my favourite tracks ever, it's from the soundtrack to Highlander. Queen did the soundtrack for that and Flash Gordon as well as incidental music in other movies. "Gimme the prize" is another belter from Highlander.
2:07 That's Brian May, lead guitarist. You can tell by the permaperm, him and his wife had the same hairdo for years.
The string arrangement in this is why I always wished that Queen had done a Bond Theme
Live is much better
One of the best songs ever. And the message is so unbelievably relevant today.
Maybe not forever, but I would have loved to have Freddie around a few more years so I could have at least seen Queen in concert once.
the story behind the song is important as well. He was so ill they almost couldn't finish filming these are the days of our lives music video, and passed before finishing mothers love
This was written for a film track......hence the orchestra! So many people of that early age group now use this for funerals..........
Queen… the greatest band in my opinion!!!!⭐️❤️
This is my fav Queen track so nice to see it reacted to. I think its even more heart breaking when you see it in the context of the film.
Another amazing song from Queen. No surprise.
This is one of the theme songs from the series highlander. An immortal who has many loves that died on him and it's very very sad sometimes. Because sometimes he really wants to die but he's also tries his hardest to stay alive. The will to live suffices
My I suggest you try "The Show must go on". One of the last record before Freddie's death in 1991. Given that by the time he knew he was dying that performance was out of this world.
An absolute must listen is The Show Must Go On. When you consider that Freddie was gravely ill when it was recorded, it makes his vocals even more mind blowing! Also try Innuendo (better than Bo Rap in my opinion!) And my personal favorite, I Want It All
Thankyou Thankyou!!!! This is such a beautiful song, also used in the movie Highlander. I hope to see more. Perhaps some 70's Queen like Stone cold Crazy live at the Rainbow or One Vision live at Wembley. Much bless youngman, I love your Queen journey. You are a beautiful person, never let that spirit go.
Brian May wrote this for the film "Highlander". That was Brian singing the first section.
Freddie could honestly rock ANY outfit... Just that sharp and dapper.. Plus that angelic voice!!!
Damn when he the live aid I was three months old but Every time I hear this song it gives me goosebumps I am one of the biggest queen vans I pretty much on everything possibly
Love this guys reactions we grew up listening to Freddie and queen so it's wonderful to see his reaction to a meastro
I absolutely love your smile when Freddie sings. I’ve only watched two of your reactions but I’m subscribing because I just really enjoy watching you react to great music.
This song breaks my heart because Freddie was already so sick when they recorded this
This song always gets to me,a tear always falls. The film was awesome too, Thanks
When you listen to Queen, you’re hearing one of the TOP 3 SINGERS OF ALL TIME!!! Freddie Mercury is BEYOND AMAZING. Not only was he an amazing showman, but THAT VOICE OMFG. The man could sing a bunch of gibberish and make it sound heavenly.
In my opinion, there are very few BEST OF THE BEST. They’re people who have reached absolute perfection in their craft. They’re untouchable. Freddie Mercury is one. Steve Perry (Journey). Tupac. Eminem. The Beatles. They are THE BEST OF THE BEST. Elvis and Dr Dre are in there too. The untouchables. Not just once in a lifetime, but the ONE AND ONLY. There will never be another Freddie. There will never be another Tupac. There will never be another Beatles. I feel honored to have been graced with their music, during their lives. I’ve seen some of them in concert. No others will ever top them.
RIP Freddie and Tupac💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
White Queen, the hits are endless. The show must go on, epic too.
You really need to watch there live videos, they were one of the best live bands ever. R.I.P Freddy.
