It's so funny to me when I look at those old videos and the outfits Freddy wore and how he used to strut around on stage, or old pictures of Judas Priest singer Rob Halford back in the 80s and remember how people were all suprised when they later found out those dudes were gay. I mean, how much more obvious could it be? Legends, both of those guys.

So refreshing to see someone of the younger generation recognizing and appreciating the extraordinary talent of this entire band, particularly Freddie's beautiful, unique vocals and amazing stamina. I'm a 63 year old gay guy from Australia. I'm also still a Club DJ. I can pass for 45 cos until I show my drivers licence, No one believes me. Queen were charting through the 70s when I was 15 years old. There will never be another front man like Freddie.

Queen was the best others used the 20min on one song what they did in 20 minutes no one else did.and if you realized he was dying at this point and was advised against performing but he did anyway this man was a rock god and was a horrible loss to this day.i still tear up watching him but i thank google for keeping him alive as long as we keep talking about him and listening to his music and videos he will remain in our hearts.God Bless Freddie and Queen🙏🙏

Don't try and over analyses the song, it is a compilation of three, unfinished, songs Freddie Mercury had been working on, the first one for nearly ten years by the time of the recording. The only part not written by Freddie was the guitar solo which was written by Brian May. The voices are all real, no such thing as auto-tune or CGI, on the video, back in 1975. Wonderful reactions, thank you ❤ I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it before, but .. the actual biological reason why Freddie’s voice is so golden and magical .. he had 4 extra teeth. He never had the dental work to fix it (thank goodness) and it pushed his teeth out of alignment as he grew. This resulted in his 4 octave vocal range, which is considered rare. We can all thank Mother Nature and the NHS Dental plan in England (healthcare is free, dental is not!) for Queen. And I know it’s been YEARS since you posted the video, and I haven’t looked through all of your videos yet, but you should reach to The crowd at a Green Day concert, singing Bohemian Rhapsody, word for word with no one on stage. 65K plus people. You’ll get goosebumps and it will feel like Freddie’s spirit is in that crowd. ❤

Slow down, add meditation every day, and TURN THEM OFF.🎉 This concert was the world coming together to fight hunger in Africa. The beauty of unison for a great, very important cause. Queen wasn't on the original list of rock artists. They were added at the last moment, and blew away everyone else with their performance. Considered the greatest live show, Queen gave us 24 minutes of sheer perfection in performance.❤Freddie is sadly missed. His awesome talent was perfection!! There were two other songs Freddie and Brian performed together later in the evening (9:48 pm) These videos often don't include them, you will have to do some research to find one that does. And, yeah, the music video was definitely before its time. It's often credited as being the first true music video. The first deliberate audio-visual presentation of a song - because they couldn't make it to a TV show, so they recorded this to be played on the show instead and decided to add visual effects to suit its "operatic" style. So, yeah, totally ahead of its time, as it kind of invented the whole concept of the music video. But it so blew everyone's minds, though, that everyone else soon copied and the music video became a thing. A standard promotional tool for song releases. There were, of course, recorded live performances and things before this - but this was the first dedicated music video that started it all. You can't get more "ahead of its time" than that, really.

You don't need live performances - though Freddie excels there too - but just the realisation that this was recorded in the '70s. There was no autotune or anything similar. It's 100% real because, back then, it couldn't be anything else. Freddie was EXACTLY that good. So utterly pitch perfect that he actually creates phasing effects with his harmonies. And his range is legendary. Basically, if you're looking for the best rock singer who ever lived, then look no further, as here he is. (And, like, you can ask any musician on Earth and you won't find a single disagreement. Freddie was the GOAT.)
