Freddie has a degree in graphic art, Roger Taylor on drums has a degree in biology, John Deacon on base guitar has an engineering degree, and lead guitarist Dr. Brian May has a Phd in astrophysics. They are all brilliant singers and have each written hit records for the band. You're gonna be surprised at how much of their music you actually know.

Freddy was a freak of nature honestly. His range was absolutely insane. He had very high roof of his mouth which allowed him to have that crazy range. Paired with possibly the best tone out of any guitarists, a drummer with a solid falsetto, a bassist that wrote some of the most timeless bass riffs of all time, and all four of them write music and lyrics... you have a match made in heaven

The thing I enjoy most about people discovering Queen is not when they see how incredible Freddie is, that's a given, it's when they discover how immensely talented John, Roger and Brian are. How each wrote songs that reached #1 on the charts. When they dive deep and listen to songs like '39 and I'm in love with my car to see how amazing Brian and Roger's voices are. When they hear all of John's iconic bass lines. When they get into songs with deep meanings or realize a song they've heard a million times is made by queen.
And of course, once they see these 4 perform live. In my opinion, the epitome of a perfect band. Yes, Freddie gets the attention, as he should, there will never be anyone like him, but man, Queen isn't Queen if any of the 4 aren't there.

Welcome to Queen and Freddie Mercury one of the most prolific singers of the 20th century who unfortunately died of Aids in 1991 All 4 members of the band wrote hit songs their catalogue covers 14 albums. Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie in 1975. I hope you will react to Somebody to love by Queen of their performance in Montreal 1981 live, this is an Iconic performance that everyone gravitates to
Mercury's voice covers a range of 6 Octaves, the falsetto you hear is Roger Taylor the Guy with Blonde hair who is the drummer
I can virtually guarantee you that you will have heard Queen songs that you didn't realise were done by Queen because they appear in Adverts, films, Arenas everywhere all over the world
After Freddie's death John Deacon the Bass player left the group and is no longer in the public eye however Roger Taylor and Brian May both in their 70's are still rocking. Together with Marc Martell they toured for a few years and in the last 5 years with Adam Lambert both singing Queen songs. They were also executive producers of the film Bohemian Rhapsody that came out in 2018 which won a Oscar for best film and best lead role

Marc Martel did not tour with Queen. He was chosen for a tribute band. The remaining members of Queen have worked with a couple other singers but settled on Adam Lambert. Their concerts are wonderful and they spend a lot of time remembering Freddie, and Freddie actually sings part of Love of my Life in a holograph simulation. Marc Martel could be a great music artist (especially in a time were very good vocalists are hard to come by), but at the moment he's just making a living off trying to copy his idol. Fun fact: Though Freddie didn't consider himself to be a great pianist, he was. Watch his hands, the way he dips his wrists down. Marc Martel is one of only a small handful of people in the world who can sing like Freddie (sound a lot like him, though not perfectly!) He’s impressive and worth checking out, but of course Freddie is my favorite. A true original with no vocal training at all and his own sound. Freddie is considered by many as the best male rock vocalist of all time and certainly as the best group frontman, though all four of them together were what made Queen great. They were extraordinary talented. Sadly, we lost Freddie too early in 1991 from AIDS. He was only 45. He sang and recorded songs almost right up until the end.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen the movie about his life, also called Bohemian Rhapsody. Marc was used in some senses when Freddie sang, since literally no one else could do it. However, the movie itself is extremely inaccurate regarding details of his life, so be careful.
I’m sure you know other songs of theirs, too. Fat Bottomed Girls, Another One Bites the Dust,
We Will Rock You / We Are the Champions (which every living soul has heard!), Don’t Stop Me Now, I Want to Break Free, You’re My Best Friend, even the Flash Gordon theme song from the movie (“Flash! Ahhh ahh!”)
You definitely have to listen to this live in Montreal 1981 (Milton Keynes 1982 is also stunning), along with a bunch of others that I’m sure you’ll get requests for! You should also watch their 20-minute set at Live Aid, frequently regarded as the best concert of all time. They were one of many performances in a much longer show - no set pieces, effects, special lighting, auto tune, or choreography - and they stole the show from everyone; including fellow legendary performers. All while Freddie has a throat infection and was advised by his doctor not to perform 😂

Freddie was out of this world....his vocal range is vast, he can sing high and low and everything inbetween to perfection and his voice can suit any genre of music because he is so versatile. He wrote the best song in history...well that's what everyone voted plus he wrote many other classics. He is an incredible composer and his music is art with so many transitions and unique styles, he could pack out stadiums... he was the brain behind all the videos and how they are so artistic...he can play lots of musical instruments very well....his stage presence is second to nobody....he was a quite humble man but at the drop of the hat he could be the most charismatic colourful character ever. Every part of being a great musician Freddie has those skills and talent but his is on another level but let's not forget the rest of the band each of whom contributed by them all writing songs and all being very artistic and skilled musicians in their own right....and put all 4 of them together and you get musical nirvana in Queen.
