- Scooter transmission tuning and cvt how to get more top speed. Jay argo sent his bike up to have it fixed he had a few tuning issues and this was the first issue we ran into was his Cvt was all out of wack so we worked to resolve it.

I want to use CVT in my electric bike. I'm using Mid Drive motor currently running via chain in rear sprocket. Can we retrofit CVT ? Guidance required.
I've tried out a 1500 contra spring, it doesnt sacrifice much top end while increasing full throttle and half throttle acceleration. Rollers arent changed. The problem with heavier contra springs is that you need to open the gas wider from a dead start but once you get going its good. It starts at higher RPM from dead stop.

Hi I dunno if you could help or know anything about peugeot speedfights 100cc, but I can't get my cvt set up right I can't find a belt that fits properly there all rubbing on my cvt cover I have no washer in the variator and using malossi multivar variator with 9g roller, I don't know if the clutch and assembly that's on there is Original, the belt sit right at the top of the clutch but doesn't seem like it's reaching the top of my varitor where I have marked

For a tool. I use an old brake rotor works great to simply extend your foot position.

It’s that fat weld in the rear pulley that doesn’t allow the belt to travel down all the way 🤙
Do you guys have any tips for cvt tuning? I have a peugeot 2stroke 50cc scooter that revved really high had great take off and top speed on 13mm carb and 5.5g rollers it was pretty stock with a sport exhaust but it seized and the rear pulley tore apart so i upgraded while changing everything else now it has a stage 6 intake manifold, 17.5 carb, malossi multivar. Ive fiddled with the cvt a ton with rollers from 5.5g to 11g and alot of different contra- and clutch springs. It just doesnt pull like when it was stock if i put any lighter than 7.5g rollers on it, it will rev really high and it wont accelerate and top speed suffers greatly, feels like the clutch is slipping but im not sure. the belt sits pretty high on the rear pulley but it could be higher, ive also replaced the belt many times. Thanks in advance.

Hi by adding the shims to the front vari. You lost low end. And gained it back in the rear clutch ? A longer belt ? It's my first scooter .

I’ve just recently bought a aerox 50 with a 70cc kit. Bike runs and idles perfect but struggles at top end as struggles to hit 35 to 40 mph just wondering if anyone would know anything that could be wrong with it. Thanks

One question please
My 125cc yamaha lost its top speed. Start is soft and quick till 80kmph but after 85 it stops pulling :/ top speed was 95-98kmph jps checked
Variator, rollers, sliders, band belt, and 1000rpm cintra spring and 1500rpm torque springs.
Are the clutch shoes dead? 28k on clutch. But the 5hing is even with sport clytch shoe it wont climb to 95
try using 1000 Clutch spring and 1200 Center spring, what yamaha 125cc you have?

There’s no spec really just make sure you run the right bell and clutch meant for your bike. When the pads look thin replace it

I'm not sure if its that the name " rear pulley" but i meant the thing on the rear that gets the clutch where the belt work like variator but from the back.
I was thinking getting the polini speed drive evoluton 3 but idk if it work, could u ginne ant tip please?

Hi, i just broke 1 of the 18 blades that the variator fan has. Does it unbalance the variator or can have any issue? Thanks in advance

We had some major issues with the company who we got the bullet cases from. Delayed the project 6 months

If u look at the video at 6:50 I believe the washer was on the outside. It looked like it was there when u took the nut off

how much grams rollers are in your varriator?
this was long ago its gonna depend on a bunch of variabbles buy a tuning kit from our website that will help you tune yours we have a whole video on CVT tuning
Great tips as always, was gonna build a spring compressor for my clutch but now know I can just stand on it. Even got to see they're a pain if I did.

Isn't your clutch tool upside down? Put the pressing bolts on the other side of the clutch.
No it’s correct, you can’t use it the other way or the pegs contact the clutch and the open section wouldn’t touch the nut

There may be a lot of mods available for the Zuma prebug, but none of them make it less ugly. I'd like to see more stuff on your website for the Zuma 50F.
Hahahahaha, the bugeye is the ugliest zuma yet. They should’ve called it something else but def not a zuma, and being a 4stroke 50 is completely worthless 😂.
Not to be the bearer of bad news but tue 50f is a really bad bike to build. Very little items for it not many people build them and it takes thousands just to get mild gains. They’re reliable but a major uphill battle

Hi there guys, just to say that as a matter of fact a washer should be placed between the clutch and the bell,I happen to recently have noticed that exactly when I was going through the instructions book of my Polini ceramic speed drive Evo 3 and I happen to have seen this technical drawing where it's clear enough that a washer with specific given measurements is advised to go in there.I was in awe as I happen to not have placed a washer in there after finishing the recent restoration I did on my Zuma. So I went and could only get a washer with a slightly minor thickness than the one mentioned in the instructions book of the Polini ceramic speed drive. Maybe the washer isn't supposed to be used when the scooter is equipped with a 105mm original (or not) speed drive like we see in the video. Please reply back to me on this issue as soon as you can.
