Mine was made a little too loud (I know variation part to part is expected on custom parts)….. What do you recommend to quiet the exhaust note a bit? Doesn’t appear to have a removable baffle to swap another one in!

Thanks! I'm nearly 60 and made it through the carburetor age without issue. My 1965 Cub Cadet and 2002 Honda mowers have never had issues. Garaged and always fueled. Got an '81 Honda Passport and '71 Trail 90 and suddenly I need to know everything there is to know about small-bore carbs! Liked and subscribed!! AWESOME DEEP-DIVE!!!!! (yes, I'm screaming)

Just bought me an XR150 a few weeks ago and love it! I’m about to do exhaust, jets, and air box mod to open it up a bit. This may be next on my list! I will say mine fires right up in one or two cranks with no choke and it’s all stock so not sure why yours is so hard or running so lean. Seems more to me like your pilot jet is gunked up a bit or something…lol. Was awesome to see some actual Dyno numbers on the little bike for sure!

I had a Taiwanese 63cc kit on mine and drilled out the jet. Once the exhaust broke off the thing became a banshee. Was faster than 70cc kitted mopeds with a pipe in both acceleration and top speed. Thing was wicked fast for what it was, 50mph easy

Too late this year but next year need to organize a meet up and ride in Sturgis. It'd be $$$

Hey dude i have a aerox 100 2002 and its cool but the acceleration is terrible how do.i improve this already has a race exhaust but only recently bought it so dont know if its bin rejettet runs decent but only picks up decent speed around 40 and takes a while to get there dont want to tune it so much it blows up just wanna improve acceleration

I have the same scooter where can I find the starter and the kick start assembly

We got one in Inuvik, at the North end of the Dempster highway. Does well in loose gravel and gas-range is wow! Can do Dawson city to Eagle Plains on a tank, if you're not bombing.

I'd like to see you test switching to Amsoil synthetic after an initial break in with conventional oil on some 2 strokes or 4. I just bought one of these XR150L's and plan to switch. I picked up some mph on several 2 stroke 50cc motors switching to Amsoil synthetic after initial breaking it in using conventional oil, experiencing a 2nd break in w/ Amsoil, and ultimately the resulting increase in speed. Motors sounded better and lasted longer as well. I hope the same happens with my XR150L. I have built a lot of 50 cc bike mopeds and doing the , what I call a "double break in" (DBI) just described, seemed to add 5-8 mph. Thing is going to synthetic on a 50cc with lots of miles did not get the same benefit. Wish I had this system to test exactly how it improved using the DBI.
