Any hp/tq improvement on the dyno or seat of the pants dyno with exhaust along with proper jetting?
The Vance and Hines sounds good but I much prefer the look of Yoshimura’s.

After installing the Vance and Hines on my Navi it’s now running lean. Idk if I installed it wrong. Didnt use the washers or the damper because I didnt see anyone use it on their install. Rides but kind of chugs and will eventually stall. Any ideas?
Was I supposed to leave the little circle metal gasket on the Vance exhaust from the old one? The instructions weren’t super clear to leave it on. Maybe it was common sense but after I put on the new exhaust I realized I forgot.

I thought they recalled these. I’ve seen a bunch of them cracked and broken on Reddit/FB. Maybe they’re torquing them down at 200 pounds 😂
It only happens when they don’t read the instructions. You have to follow the steps.

Make sure you save the old exhaust 'cause you're probably going to be putting it back on when the Vance & Hines cracks
They only crack if you don’t install them properly. We have sold tons of them. You have to read the instructions, if you don’t follow them you can damage the product of course, read the instructions follow them and there’s no risk of damage.
@@Scooterswapshop I've seen at least 10 cases in my honda navi group, a new one seems to pop up each week. So many people putting it wrong?
We’ve sold 100 or so 2 cracked one was 100% user error and Vance warrantied it anyways. In general most people toss the instructions. Also, there were probably 500 of these sold in the last 3 months in USA so yes it’s possible 10 out of several hundred didn’t install it properly. The rad thing is Vance and Hines warranties them regardless
@@Scooterswapshop not trying to be a keyboard warrior here but that’s not true! The Vance and Hines Is an awesome looking and awesome sounding pipe but unfortunately it’s a bad design. It was created in a rush manner to offer an awesome product to the demanding public including myself. the pipe is too heavy towards the muffler part and unlike the Yoshimura, there is not enough support near the header. The header is the hottest part of the exhaust and There’s also way too much vibration between 30-35mph caused by the design of the V&H system. Extreme Heat and vibration is a disaster for stainless steel, it becomes Weak and cracks/snaps. Happened to me 2x. Called V&H today and they will be issuing me a full refund after I send them the pipe.

In your opinion what exhaust is the best? Yoshimura, Hot lap or Vance & Hines?
Well the yoshi isn’t out yet so we can’t test it and it’s, I believe $450+. So that puts it in a different category. Hot laps is a really nice pipe but it’s $500 I believe and I’m not even sure he’s making them. Hotlaps won’t ever have a warranty and you won’t ever get replacement parts as it’s a one man show. The Vance is the only one that’s available at the moment and the price is really good
I own a 2005 Zuma. Does Vance & Hines make a pipe for the bugeye Zuma ?
Go Yasuni. An R and Contessa for mild, a C16 and Corsa for faster.
Have you guys thought about upgrading the gas tank??
It’s too expensive for the Navi market. A larger tank would likely exceed $300

I emailed Vance and Hines and they said around 1/23 they will start sending back orders to dealers and then you can buy on their website if they have any left after getting the dealers taken care of. They suggested me buying it from a dealer instead of them bc I would likely get it faster. I bought mine off of Dennis Kirk.

Help me understand about the mini scooters. Why buy one and start spending money on adding power? Why not just take the combined money and buy a bike with a bigger engine?
not sure If I'd want to spend that much on my navi. But I really don't like the way the stock exhaust looks. maybe the vance and hines could be a tax refund gift to myself.

I agree it’s way too loud without the db killer. But a lot of people like their bikes super loud.
God they sound terrible
It’s not for me but you’d be suprised how many people want these bikes to be loud. The get ruckus is the same way
