It's good to know my channel can attract the intellectual giants; the kind of people who - in all their seven years of being a youtube member, yet producing no content themselves - have no need for trivial things such as the FFWD button and the clickable timeline to facilitate skipping things. @@khaledalsmael9278 Actually you'd be surprised sometimes. Believe it or not there are occasionally other review channels where their owners downvote what they see as 'rival' reviewers (yes really). I tracked the URL of one of these once because there were a lot of coincidental downvotes appearing on my reviews which exactly coincided with the times when similar reviews on the same subject appeared on their review channel. Sure enough, it was indeed that reviewer who was downvoting my reviews. Of course what they didn't seem to understand (apart from the fact that doing that is rather mean-spirited), is that they had to go to my video in order to downvote it, which is classed as a 'view' and unless the aggregate is for more downvotes than upvotes, it doesn't really have a negative effect on the channel, so they'd have been better off just ignoring it if that was what they were trying to achieve. I’ve been watching reviews of this ultra light for the last week or so. As an IRL pilot I’m one of those guys who will get as much information as they can before actually flying something. This is the best video I’ve come across so far, thanks! I’m still trying to find what exactly all the little digital display functions are.
Excellent demonstration of an excellent plane, and I can only imagine how it must feel in VR! I'll definitely need to give Barton Aerodrome (and Manchester in general) a visit as well, very nicely done.
Yup, Barton is very well done and reasonably accurate although I would also recommend seeking out the free scenery for the surrounding area of Manchester which you can get from here: flightsim.to/discover/manchester
just bought this little guy for 10 bucks, honestly looks really good for short or relaxed bush routes, thanks for the video i learned a lot and also learned that i made a worthy purchase.

Nah, I don't wear a helmet when I'm flying my aerolite. Just a headset. I flew with a UL helmet for a few months, it's restricting. Incredible details on this AC.....the welds....amazing.
Since this aircraft does not require any license to be flown, I think the pilots attire is perfectly acceptable. Because basically any bum with no idea of proper aviation and safety precautions is allowed to hop in and take it for spin. ;)
i do wish it came with bigger tires because those things are tiny for what it can hold. There is a t3rd party version that costs about the same and has the big tires, but is not quite as detailed as this so its a trade off. im on the fence about which to get myself.
@@MrMartind45 If you go to the Zendesk there is a full page of instructions on how to get the Catalog to work. Apparently a matter of getting Xbox Studios and Microsoft Store into sync. Extremely bad programming by MS. I have now downloaded and flown the 103 Microlight. For the price, excellent.

Hi guys, it is only me or this plane do no have trims and flaps so its constantly peaking his nose down so im struggling to pull up all the time my joistick?
I find that if you play with the throttle setting, you can find an airspeed where it will stay reasonably level. if on the other hand you are finding it pitches down, try reducing the fuel load a bit to reduce the take off weight.
I dont have this new UL but I believe you have to use the throttle to get your attitude right ;) if it wants to pull its nose down add some throttle till it levels up naturally ;)
@@atrotet Yup, you are correct, you just have to find the sweet spot and since it only flies at between about 30 mph and 55 mph, it doesn't really matter too much if you have to slow down a little bit to get it to sit level. although to be honest, I find it is more fun to just stay hands on with it and chuck it around. It's not the kind of aeroplane you'd go for a long journey in.
@@ChockHolocaust its wierd couse i saw review video where flaps were moveing up/down. Also the thing is whatever i do with throttle my plane just peaks down hard and im not able to find golden spot just to keep him flying horizontally so i have to pull joistick constantly
@@pawesieradzki4417 oh well I just bought this ultra light :) Try what @Alan Bradbury said about the fuel. But I can tell you this aircraft is perfectly controllable with the throttle. Think of it like you cant change your speed, you just change your flight profile... By going full throttle you climb, reduce a bit and you cruise.... You need a hand on a joystick to control things at all times. It is back to basics but I find it a lot of fun! And yeah there are no flaps ;)

You missed the fact that a Part 103 also does not need an aircraft registration.
Could have mentioned it true, but then it doesn't really matter that I don't mention literally everything about it..
I so wish they offered this model with the Verner 3 cyl radial as an option like IRL....
Simplicity can be a good thing, but what I'm really missing is an altimeter of sorts and at least some simple form of fuel indicator.
I've found that if you use more than a third of the football field for either departure or landing, ya ain't really trying.

I like the extra in MSFS...face winds brake full flap full power......release the brakes and up you go. Much more expensive in real life though.

Same here. Tried several downloads on the MSFS Marketplace but it's impossible to pay. Also can't buy this plane on the Asobo site.

That's the best aircraft if you want to explore world or find your house.
I would buy this plane but I know in real life I am too fat for that thing to get off the ground with me in it. It kind of ruins the immersion :()

I find no trim. Without trim it is not a nice airplane.
You can hold it at an altitude by finding the throttle setting which gets it all in balance.
