- Surprisingly, there is no default Ultra-light with MSFS, so the Aerolite 103 is a great way to get your 'lite' fix!

Very cool aircraft, barebone but you get to enjoy the view and the breeze of air. You can enjoy it too if you put fan on your desk in front of you. Augmented reality on the cheap.

Great video like all of your videos. A big fan here that has really helped me learn MSFS 2020 through the last year. This ultralight is exactly what I'm looking for so I can go low and slow and fly over my house and actually be able to see it. Thanks again.

I have one of these and totally enjoy the open views It produces and if your looking for a plane to visit places of interest this is it,just a little slow 🐌 when in flight

Looks fun. I’ve noticed you computer simmers have access to a range of different aircraft than my Xboxx offers. Not sure at my age I can learn all that computer stuff. Enjoyed the flight with you though, thanks.
If you're not familiar with PC's, then it can be a steep learning curve - hopefully Xbox choices will be on par with PC MSFS soon.

The Aerolite 103 has electric trim.
It appeared you were nosediving to the runway, but the VSI looked to only be -500. I've been having trouble landing this ultralight, why I am looking for videos. Apparently it lands entirely different from a regular plane, say, a Cessna. I wind up stalling and dropping to the surface in the ultralight.
Keep at it Bill, it takes a fair bit of practice to fly and land it.
@@Huddison from what I've been seeing and experiencing, it seems as if you need to have power on all the way to the surface. That's why I've been stalling and dropping, because I try to kill the throttle and flare and it just doesn't work in this craft.
@@Huddison Been practicing. Getting better. I finally looked up the approach and touchdown speeds. Much faster than I thought. It also appears that for "normal" takeoffs and landings, flaps really aren't necessary. So after I fixed all those issues, I can now land without dropping like a rock and digging a hole in the runway!
I know this is old but I purchased this aircraft but having so much trouble with it. It's simply uncontrollable. The sim starts and immediately goes out of control. Start to roll and pitch. If I start in the ground st full throttle it only reaches 20 knots and random the throttle goes to closed. If tried many sticks and all the same same. Any help would be appreciated. It only happens on this particular aeroplane.
I shall go back to this aircraft and check this out for you. I do remember that you had to configure something to get it to behave (I may have mentioned it in this video).
@@Huddison here is what fixed most of it. I had to reinstall the module and switch the flight model to modern. The throttle controls are still not working though
No trim in this vehicle
From memory, any trim settings you have assigned to your controller will still take effect.
