Passed Core 1 today!
Congratulations 🎉
How are these questions in comparison to the exam?
Congrats!!!
@@TayWill102 I apologize for the late reply- busy buzzes the bees.
tl;dr: same but different.
Naturally, the exam situation is a different level. And, it was my first exam in almost 8 years. So, naturally everything felt a lot more imposing to me. Same with the question - it felt more intense. But actually no - BurningIce, i believe, has a great grasp on the what quality and type of questions are coming.
Natural advice though is always compare your resources.
Congratulations 🎉
I went through the professor messer courses he has and my biggest issue is since he tries to make everything bite sized, he doesn't break anything down to the degree you do. I like knowing how things work and why and during my course with him, there were times where I felt like he was just saying words that he then addressed in later videos. So I often had to google search of answers. Thank you very much for your clear and concise help!
Oh wow thank you :)
Can agree, I did his whole course then I took practice questions and there was tons of info he left out
Bruh be greatfull, not all things in this world is spoon feed. You cant just use one resource and thinking you will pass the exam.
Ok good so it’s not just me. I struggle to follow along with his videos because of this.
@leonski11 I never said I wasn't greatful. Don't read into it too much. I'm just saying, that his stuff doesn't explain everything.
This is the best educational resource I could find for CompTIA 1101 practice questions. The fact that you break everything down, explain the wrong answers AND show images really helps with retention. Great work.
I couldn't say it better.
He actually knows what he’s talking about and isn’t a corrupt dumper like Dean
I swear to god this guy is the best teacher Ive come across for tech studies. The way he explains things just get engraved into my head😂
oh wow thanks for the compliment :P well as long as it works
check out the mad instructor.....hes pretty good too and also refferences burn for practice questions...hes the one that sent me here
You are about to take over the game with these videos bruv! TOP TIER CONTENT
Thanks for the compliment :)
South African accent immediately gets a like and sub 🎉
Thank you :P
Burningice tech and professor Messer are top notch practically a guaranteed to pass core 1 and 2 test
I used IT Career Switch because i needed more structure lmao
I passed my exam today thanks for the help
Congratulations 👏.. how did you find the questions? What resources did you use to study and practice? I plan to take my core 1 by month end
@@akyblue to be honest quite a few of the pbqs i found on youtube the one with the printer, building 2 pcs one gaming and one home system, overclocking problem however the multiple choice questions were quite different a few were similar to online however if you keep revising online youtube questions about printers a lot and networking and troubleshooting you will be fine and just take your time with the questions i hope you pass good luck. I watched loads of youtube questions and exams like these vidoes, dean cyber i also researched pbqs very helpful also use exam topics they give you the first 250 questions free after that you have to pay but the layout of questions are similar to exam and pbqs are good on there similar to real exam ones
@@akyblue I did a measure up mock exam! they're really good you can get up to 250 questions
I'm telling you, you have taught with such CLEAR, CONCISE AND COMPREHENSIVE EXAPLANATIONS (better than teachers/Text books), that will most definately pass the most troubled student! Thank you sir... Subscribed!
Best a+ review video I’ve studied with so far! Awesome job my dude!
Back the heck up
I just passed my core 1 exam. Thank you so much. You're the MVP
Congrats! Please, how were the questions, were they kinda similar?
Yes I would like to know as well. My exam is coming up soon.
@@jacphygz
Update?
How was the questions?
Sorry for the late reply, he covers all the important topics. I got 5 performance based questions though.
This is amazing, I listen along to these at work and they’re very informative and make the day go by quick while i look forward to an IT career!
same! keep pushin!
Indeed! Very listenable!
Yeah, I'm working and listening to these and afterward going to a training program to take my A+ certification.
Correction Q3 diagram. Both CAT6 and CAT6a are rated at 10Gbp/s. The difference is frequency and line length. CAT6 operates at 250MHz allowing 10 Gbp/s up to 165 feet (55 meters). CAT6a operates at 500MHz allowing 10 Gbp/s up to 100 meters (328 feet).
Question 13: APIPA is characterized as not an IP address in the answer. YES it is. Automatic Private IP Addressing. An APIPA address is a real IP address that is not routable, but still allows devices to communicate with other devices on their LAN segment. APIPA uses a broadcast to ensure no other device has assigned itself the same address, and devices on a LAN segment will typically do this when they are configured to receive an address via DHCP but the server is down for some reason.
Otherwise, great questions and answers so far.
A seceond Data Checker gives team effort. Thanks for the input.
The explanations of each line item is very helpful. Not not only do you give the correct answer, but provide review as well! Thank you for creating these!
Most welcome, glad it helps :)
You’ve just earned a new subscriber,sir! Salute!!!!
You're a great teacher and keep it interesting and easy to follow along. Thank you so much! I'm following along and writing each question and answers down into notepad to review and study.
Thank you Mr. BurningIce! I've watched all of your 1101 videos over the past few days and they have helped me greatly. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these.
this has helped me more than dion and messer. you’ve got a sub my g
thank you and thank you for making a list for every single question. very, very nice!
Great breakdown. I’m learning so much.
Just found you and I'm already loving this man. The accent. The explanations. The wrong answer explanations. Taking my core 1 soon. Thanks for your work.
Appreciate your time on this, ty!
This is it. amazing video for me. Ik you can’t pack a lot of things in the questions but my only problem with this is not enough printer questions. Those questions snuck up on me and put me in a CHOKEHOLD in the PBQs. but if you understand the concepts like you said it should be fine. Did I mention PBQ printer troubleshoot and computer/network setup questions? Because PBQ printer troubleshoot and computer/network set up questions and for everyone wondering YES this will be on your test
Yeah they are very keen on asking printer related questions. If you look at the 2nd practice questions video for 1101 which has 60 practice questions, in there I covered a lot of printer related questions
Just wanted to say thankyou. I just passed this exam. And although only a handful of the questions from this came up.. the fact you explained every option and answer in this video helped me massively in the actual test to better understand the concepts and differences. Alot of the questions were just rephrased so this was hugely helpful and relevant. Great video. Thanks again. Onto the Comptia Networking next haha.
Congrats on your pass! :)
Love this style of teaching, thank you so much for this!!
Nice explanations, knew most of these, but I did like the refresher and further cementing of these concepts! Subbed!
Thank you for this great informational video for test takers like me. I like how in depth you explain things and your playful nature keeps me engaged and entertained. Great video
Thank you for posting this! It really helps
No prob :)
Just passed my core 1 thanks to your videos.
Hopefully you'll have more core 2 videos by the time I'm ready to take it.
Congratulations 👏.. I'm hoping to take this by month end. How did you find the questions?
I am hoping to take the CompTIA someday and I'm finding this very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
I learned a lot and I appreciate this content. Subscribed. Thank you
Thank you Helps Everyone a Bunch!!!
Quality information. Thank you!
Thanks for your expertise in teaching
Why in the world did I not find you two years ago? Your content is great sir and how you explain the incorrect answers helps me retain information. Going in for 1101 soon. Wish me luck!
dude!!!!! did you pass??
This is the best practice videos so far , thank you dude
Thank you so much for all your lessons and practice exams. They are so helpful! I know you also have one for Network+ which I will definitely use! Could you also do lessons and practice exams for Security+ and CySa+ please? Your videos have helped me so much compared to other videos I've watched. I really like how you explain every answer on the practice exams too!
Thank you sir, your helping my learning for sure
Love the extra explanations
Really appreciate how detailed you are when explaining and going through your questions and answers.. you make a great teacher.. keep up the good work
Wonderful teachings
Thank you for all your help, I passed today😁thank you for going into great detail with all the answers. Will most defiantly be using your content for core 2😊
Were the questions in the video accurate to what is on the actual core1 exam?
I love the accent and the way you teaching. You are a gold
I’ve been self teaching myself IT. Was worried at one point that I wasn’t doing as well as I thought. Until I answered these questions in the video perfectly! Thank you so much for the video, it really helps!
Glad it helps :)
@@BurningIceTech At minute 23 I decided to subscribe without even finishing the Video ! Congratulations to you !! You gave a tip regarding FIber connecters : that it is only two letters. Our teacher never told us that after 16 weeks of training !!
@@serignesanguembackendiaye6476 A tip about "tips" haha. See what I did there?
Yeah it's something very odd but yet very effective
Thank you so much for this! It is extremely helpful. 😊
Glad to hear it is :)
Excellent video. I feel confident and comfortable with all of the information now, moreso than after 2 weeks with only CompTIA/ Messer.
Thanks for this, taking my final tomorrow!
Thank you for this extremely thorough breakdown of almost everything we might see on an A+ exam. I take my Core 1 exam tomorrow and this video gave me a pretty good confidence boost!😇
How did you go? Any questions or surprises that I need to look out for?
@@othersean they make you legally agree not to disclose any info on the test.
I'd say stay confident and do a final review once you finish the test. You should have more than enough time if you don't stop.
I passed with a 675 😁
@@heavydremer8716did the video help ?
@@j4idaz713 it really did!
I have question what options you recommend for buy if a want take comptia code 1,2, network and security and you can buy core 1 and 2 in one options?

Thank you for the amazing content. I loved it ❤
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge very helpfull ! i like your way to explain. Very intuitive ! Thank you
Thanks for uploading this!!
Using this video as a refresher right before my exam here in 30 minutes
Did it help at all? I have mine soon lol
How did you do?
I failed with 685. Was almost there but I only watched videos I didn’t study properly lol
@@OriGummie oh bummer! Now you know probably better results for you next time.goodluck I'm going to take mine by month end
did your test have a lot of questions that were similar to the ones on here? I failed my first test unfortunately with a 624,675 is passing so how did u fail with a 685? make sure you really understand everything about the different types of printers and how to troubleshoot them, one of my PBQ's had a picture of a printer and that stumped me because it expected you to know where certain parts were all located so keep that in mind in case you get it. I also had a PBQ asking what RAID array is best for a certain situation, and what kind of hard drives and speeds to use in that array. Also, make sure you understand cloud computing and what situations you would use IaaS, Paas, SaaS, Daas in a real-life scenario. I take my next test on Monday so hopefully I pass, there's so much to fully learn and understand, I've heard of a lot of people online studying and passing it quickly, but I feel like that comes down to a bit of luck because they have a pool of 1000 questions to choose from @@OriGummie
Thank you for the questions. Really helpful. We appreciate you so much.
Most welcome
Thank you for all of your hard work!
Very welcome
Love the teaching style its engaging and keeps us interested you're not just being boring and monotone . Subscribed !

Have you twke n it yet?
Thanks. Great job!!!
Passed core 1 today. Your videos were a big help. Thank you.
I’ve already liked and subscribed based on the clearness and the explanation of question 1. There are so many resources available and it is challenging to know which or who to use to assist with passing the exam. Thank you
I just started study for the certification, came across your videos and I like how they are peactice questions not a while course! I will study all the questions besides Mike Myeres class I am takinh
Thank you very much, excellent, excellent practice test with excellent explanations to the answers and even incorrect answers!
Thanks a lot for the lecture that's great ❤
this video is phenomenal
You deserve the world
Appreciate you so much!
Thankyou these are well explained
I'm taking my exam Monday, and I'm just sick about it. I'm hoping I don't get too many questions I don't know. This has been extremely helpful/relieving, though. Thank you!
Did u pass? Did the video help?
How’d it go? Was the video accurate to what questions might be involved?
Gonna say among the A+ 220-1101 practice videos I've watched this is one of the better ones. Nice detailed explanations. Suggestions for improvement: More simulated/image-based questions like Q15 would be helpful. Reverse questions would be help such as "Which of the following random access memory modules (RAM) features 240 pins?" as opposed to putting DDR2 or DDR3 in the question itself. You dive into the answer a bit too quick in some cases.
you are the greatest of all time my brother
*Great Video*
Thank you so much bud
I'm about half way through this exam prep. I already have a pretty good knowledge of this information, but I love the way you actually teach. While admittedly it's a little lengthy, its all useful information, and the way you give examples and explanations is perfect. Thank you for giving me the confidence to take this test.
Thanks for the compliment. Glad it's proving useful :)
Best of luck with your test
passed my 220-1101 today, thanks to u bro
That's awesome! Congrats!

Nice study guide, friend. Will check you Core 2 study guide
hey buddy just want to say thank you for the time and effort you put Into this. I haven't done any studying or practice test. just finished google it certification from coursera and want to get my A+ in the near future. after watching this video I feel far more confident. some questions I didn't get wrong but it gave me a good idea what information I need to touch back on and study a bit more before moving forward.
Love the teaching method where, explaining all the answers gives you the knowledge to answer a future question
Glad you find it useful :)
