i failed the Core 1 exam after studying Dion in Udemy and getting a 98% in his practice test, this video has definitely helped me filling a lot of the blanks i had and never knew about! im retaking the exam tomorrow, wish me luck!
I passed the Core1! the information here really helped! most of the questions i got were based on network configurations/hardware configurations and troubleshooting connections and boot process the two times i took the Core1 exam. Not too much about the command prompt. Laser printer mostly and only 1 question about thermal printer, not inkjet printer at all. Simulations one laser printer, setting up a SOHO network, setting up a desktop for gaming/home use. i hope this helps and good luck! Funny I’ve heard like 1000% never take dion stuff. I’m 3 days in on pocket prep and have landed 80% on every test with 3 days of learning.

@makesmartTROYces I watched a bit of professor Messer but found this channel to be more helpful. I also bought cert exams simulation test which was $23. Then for core 2 I used this channel and iprotv. Hope that helps

So I got all of the questions right but for some reason I still don’t feel ready, was this test made to be too easy? Or is getting all these answers right a good sign of being ready for the core 1 exam?
@@sk8n854 So I did end up taking it a few days later and I passed it with 715, so I’m pretty happy with the result. Currently studying for core 2.

I was 10 when I solved question #35, my dad had to take the PC to a computer shop to set the bios password. It took me 2 days to figure though.

Hey. Is compTIA A+ 1000 the same thing what you talking about in the video? Im new to tech and need some understanding.
No 1001 and 1002 are retired exams. 1101 and 1102 are the current exams as of now
What Lebron said, the tests are usually in commission for about three years. 1101 and 1102 (you have to pass both to become A+ certified) came out in 2022, so sometime in 2025 the current tests will expire and be replaced.
