I passed my network certification exam. I scored a 724 from a 602! ^_^ this guy is 100% correct. The only thing that I change was knowing what the acronyms mean and that made a huge improvement.
The accent, the humor, the intonation makes this much less lame and so much easier to remember. Thanks so much man!!
For real! So much easier to digest when you’re being talked to like a normal person, lmao!
You helped me pass my A+ and I’m back starting my Network+.
I passed my Network+ exam today with a 737! Thank you for all that you do for us, you're the man BurningIce!
Congratulations! How were the PBQs?
Good job!
Congrats!
What are PBQS?
@@TimCummingsFatLoss Performance based Questions, they usually do not have a multiple choice A B C D style of answering. You may have to label a chart or or look at a picture or build a network diagram or write out an essay .
Funky Town !! Just came to say that it is wonderful to see a fellow South African ! I loved the video and the way you explained everything , also , I passed my N+ today so Thank you ! Keep up the great content !
Great content; it is possible to notice the efforts of the speaker to deliver a clear explanation.
Funky Town - Really enjoying this resource! Thanks so much for this I really think this is going to be a big help and boon to my passing this cert exam!!!!
BurningIce All the way from South Africa representing the motherland. Much much appreciated. We are learning a lot...
Once I pass my Network plus, I hope to get a job in Funky town!
Listening to Funky Town while reading helped alot too.
I really love your videos. They helped me pass A+, and now hopefully to pass Network+ this week! You reading the questions really helps to zero in on what the exam questions are really asking for. I also feel like I learn way more from why the other answers are wrong, especially for those questions that have answers that you just can't narrow down. Thank you so much for everything you do! Oh, and Funky town!
We appreciate all that you do! 🎉 - update: I passed my Network+ exam!
I passed my A+ Assessments at University because of your Course and your Questions❤️
Truly Grateful for the hard work and dedication you put into these priceless Videos🙏🏻
Just purchased my Net+ voucher. I'll be scheduling my test after finishing your videos. You're super helpful. Thank you, sir!
This guy is the Gotham chess of IT learning.
Thank you man! I got 8 questions wrong. Not sure if this would be enough to pass the test but I keep going!
I can not thank you enough for your efforts to make it easy for me to learn. I request you to make a video and explain how we can end up getting a job following a certain track. Road map for senior citizens😂 like me to find a job or make a living out of it. Many thanks
The way you go into depth in a nice pace and tone makes your videos really easy to follow along. You helped me pass A+ and I hope you release another video really soon to help me pass network +!! Im aiming to test 2/7.
How did you do?
Very good and nice
Just went through your whole Network+ video course but I'm going to also go through some other course, my 1000+ page book and Dion's practice tests before I even consider taking the exam. But I'm aiming for April 25th as my exam day because that's my birthday, and also why not. Though, if I feel ready sooner then I'll do that. Thank you for all your hard work! I can't financially support you now because I'm unemployed and living off tea and one meal a day (all I want to pay for is my certs), but once I get a solid job I'm coming back to buy you so many coffees.
The more content you use the better :) By all means use the as many books and videos as possible. It can only do good
As for supporting the channel, no worries. You can also maybe just pay it forward by helping someone else
Funky town! Great video and very helpful
Funky town!!! Thank you very much! Quite excellent
Do you think you can pass just by studying this ? I love this content and personality. It's not so dry
I got all of these right. Am I ready for the net+?
Update: I passed with 764 score lol thank you for your course & practice questions
do you think this review helped you pass?
@@eclipse2163 yeah a little, but you need more practice than just 60 questions.
Nice!!! Congrats man. I take mine the 22. I feel like I’m not ready even though I’m getting these right. Haha
How’d you do? Any recommendations? I take mine in a month.
@@scottmcleod1470 I passed with a 743. Probably the hardest test I’ve ever taken honestly. My suggestion is to really understand the concepts, the questions are so vague that memorization won’t really help you. Obviously know your ports but go through the objectives and make sure you understand how they work. I’d also recommend YouTubing PBQs, or finding a way to do labs for any objective that says “given a scenario.” I had five PBQs and luckily I had done what I said so I was able to knock those out, blast through the multiple choice and make sure you have 30-45 min for PBQs man, they take some time. I honestly am still in shock I passed, between the vague questions and the PBQs, I was sweating bullets until the clock ran out. I only gave myself two weeks after A+ though so with a month for you, just study your ass off and then study some more. You’ll breeze through it! Good luck!
I can't thank you enough for taking me to funky Town
My best video so far in my life thanks

Funky town! Great quality!
for Q37), DDoS is the actual attack that is happening, but the question specifically asked which vector represents "a large number of devices". These devices collectively are the Botnet. The Botnet (vector) is used to carry out the DDoS.
I was literally about to write the same thing. I hate questions like that where you don't know what there asking for.
Thank you very much!
You're the best! thank you
Your enthusiam and clarity is awesome, thank you for the work you've put into this!
Most welcome :) Hope it helps
@@BurningIceTech Funky Town always helps!

funky town!
Just in time! I'm testing for Network+ tomorrow! Funky Town!
Passed Network+ this morning! Some of your questions here helped!
@@40wattstudio41congrats! What do you suggest one should touch up on before taking it?
@@windthugness Definitely be prepared for some Performance Based Questions -- I got like 5 of them and they were all brutal. Access Control Lists, etc. Save those for LAST or you will run out of time to answer the questions. As for the questions, know your acronyms and OSI layers, but also take any practice tests you can find online. Know how to differentiate between similar concepts like piggybacking and tailgating. I studied with the Mike Meyers textbook which always has a good overview. This time I also used Boson, which came with practice tests (useful) and labs (great for the real-world, but utterly useless for preparing me for the PBQs). I'm studying for Security+ now and from what I've seen, CertMaster Learn comes the closest to simulating the PBQ's you'll see on the test. TestOut might also be a good choice for that.
Just test today unfortunately didn't make it, but i think we were having same type of questions mine also was 5 pbq and they were so hard also other questions mostly about troubleshooting and there was question about biggybacking and tailgating. will try again!!!
@@Timmo123do you have to pay again to take the test when failing?
Get down to Funky Town! lol
you mentioned a video you have about common ports, may I ask what the name of that video is called so I can watch it? Great work by the way this video was amazing
Wait….
You have a Network + Course?!? I haven’t seen it. I’m way too focused on your A+ content.
Funky town!
Do you have these questions apart of a PowerPoint presentation or in a PDF file? Thank you.
Do you have any performance based question videos?
will you be doing security plus?
Funky town!!!!
Funky town ❤
i just stepped in to funky town
Funky town!!!
do you have any videos on some possible PBQ questions for the Network + exam
At the moment no not yet. Looking at maybe making some in the future but at this exact moment there are no videos on the channel regarding PBQ questions

Funky Town!
Should have been more clear that q2 built off of 1. I would argue with lack of context the answer is A.

Can I pass the N+ in one week? 😢
Well, the official CompTIA Network+ course is actually 5 days long and I have learners who write the exam immediately after the course all the time who mostly pass.
I would say it depends on your experience and also how fast you learn but yes it can be done in one week and it's done like that all the time by a lot of people.
I would recommend spending a wee bit more time on it though depending on your experience. 2 weeks extra after going through the course is usually a nice time period but this will also vary depending on other things happening in the person's life such as work and how much time they have to study per day
Funky town 😂
Oh hell yeah it is
Now I see why everyone was commenting Funky Town
Haha yeah
Number 40 is a shit question the way it’s worded
Thanks a lot for all the info!!🎉 Also you just called me a weasel 😂😂 at least is for a good cause 🫣
