- Finally it the lower cowl installed. Looking back this was pretty easy once I took it apart from the upper cowl. Just make sure you take measurements from points of reference that aren’t going to change. Hopefully this helps with your lower cowl install. Thanks for watching.

You are doing a fantastic job. My friend believe me. A lot of people will never, ever have tried. What you have started already. Don't worry about how the Welds look. Believe me, as you go, you will become a master. I was the same way and now I can weld up a car with my eyes clothes. Thank you for the shout out. I appreciate you also.
Thank you for keeping me motivated and all the tips provide through your videos. I’m looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle and the confidence grows with each one. ✌️
Good work man. Thanks for sharing. I’m almost ready to cut my cowl and firewall out thanks to all the folks like you sharing their experiences.
Thank you. I’m glad the videos are helping. That’s why I take the time to make them. Good luck with your project and thank you tuning in.✌️
👏👏👏 Fine job. We all started like this. Each step builds confidence. Keep it going. 👍
Thank you. I appreciate the comment. The confidence is building with each piece. Thanks for watching.✌️
Love the long videos. Great recording. The videos are crystal clear and can see detail. You’re doing fine with welding the holes up just check for penetration. You can start from the center of the hole and work your way out or start on the edge and work your way in. Both work fine. I’m ready for more. Thanks
Thank you. I always check the penetration, especially on the bad ones. I’ll get more practice pieces out and get this dialed in. Thanks for the comment and tip, I’ll try that. Appreciate you watching.✌️
Great job. I'm in the same boat as you. I have a 67 Firebird myself that I'm tackling. It is the first time I've ever done this. I'm subscribed to your channel as well as VVG. Both of you are a big help and are giving me confidence that I can do this.
Thank you. It can be a little intimidating doing this for the first time, but that’s why we are making these videos. To help other first timers get through it and see how someone with no experience does it (good or bad). Thank you for watching and subscribing. Good luck with your project. 👍
Moving right along! Were all looking forward to the warmer weather to get back to our projects!
Thanks Charlie. Feeling a little more confident with each piece of the puzzle, and can’t wait for the warm weather to really get going. Thank you for watching and the comment.✌️
The VVG weld way works great for me too 😎
Finally getting it dialed in. It beats moving clamps all over to weld.👍
Coming along, thanks for sharing
Slowly but surely. Winter doesn’t help. Thank you for the comment and for watching.👍
love your videos and especially love the body cart . I have a 67 camaro that im going to restore but i have one question how do you propose to put the floor in while on the body cart thanks Bob
Once I have completed replacing the rocker panels and firewall. The plan is to lift the car back up as we did when we put it on the body cart, roll out the body cart, and set the car down on jack stands. Then build the floor on the cart, and reverse the order rolling the floor under the car, and lowing down. This is my plan. We will see if it works🤞. I plan to only screw everything together in case adjustments need to be made. Thank for the comment and for watching.
sounds like a plan ill be watching
Just grind the end of a quarter inch drill bit flat and does the same thing
I will try that. Thanks for tip and for watching.👍
don't use alcohol, but a dremel works much better and the alcohol doesn't run between your plates
I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip and for watching.✌️
What you don't see doesn't have to be plastered over, it's a waste of your time😂
So true, but I like to practice on the areas you can’t see. A Lot of time it’s good enough.👍
