- I finally got around to swapping out the radio systems in all of my Arrma vehicles. In this video, we take the Granite 3S BLX out for it's first run with the DumboRC 6ch transmitter and receiver. I didn't have any real problems with the stock radio/receiver, however, "You can't miss what you never had!" The Dumbo radio is very fast & reactive compared to the standard Spektrum STX-2 that comes in the box from Arrma. (It's also very cheap and has over 400m distance.) Now... Yes, I've used and demonstrated the gyro function in this video - czcams.com/video/wPHyhAQIpHY/video.html I found that if your car runs straight normally, then the gyro sometimes over corrects and makes the car wobble!!! Thanks for watching and your feedback.

Just got my dumbo in today...WOW!! this thing is great!! Running it on my granite too. U were right, it's like driving a whole different RC!! Great purchase
The DumboRC transmitter/receiver woke up all of my Arrma vehicles. I now have it installed in 5 cars and I have at least 3 spare receivers. I love being able to go out with several cars and only one transmitter. It's not the best on the market (no model memory) but it is the "best bang 4 da buck" out there! Hello, I have got an arrma granite v3 (last model) and the model has a little throttle delay when the model starts from standstill. I knew the previous version had this problem (v2) but how is possibile also last version? I set punch to maximum but nothing... I read that with dumbo rc radio and trsmitter this issues can be fixed, is it true or no?

Hey Man, Nice video. Are those 17MM wheels yours usingon the granite? Im assuming they are 3.8in wheels. I was told I would have to regear it or it would cause damage if I did that. Am I seeing that right?
Yes, those are 17mm wheels. You can see more info in this video - czcams.com/video/PzufaVkmUKo/video.html I'm using the Hot Racing 17mm hub extenders. So far, I've only broken an A arm, which was my fault, lol. The gears are fine (for now) and the larger wheels, gives it more speed. So now, I'm happy running the Granite on 2S to slow her down a little!!! Thanks for watching!!!

I don't remember all the details, but it was as simple as removing the old receiver and replacing it with the new one. The Dumbo receiver comes with instructions on how to link/calibrate. Good luck, thanks for watching!!

DumboRC radio works great, also has built in gyro. I did a Hot Racing hub extension mod to my Granite and Big Rock, they're both riding on 17mm hexes now! The tires are ZD Racing Pirates 2 tires. If you have time, watch this video - czcams.com/video/PzufaVkmUKo/video.html Thanks for watching!!!
What tires are you running, and did you make any suspension mods?

Hey my friend I have an Arrma granite V3, it comes out of the box with a spektrum SLT3 radio and its receiver, I’ve used it for around 60 backs and it’s been working really well. I also own a DUMBORC X6PM-350 Radio and receiver and I’d like to ask you if you would recommend it over the stock one? I like the idea of using only 1 radio for my granite and my other rc, anyway thanks for your time, nice video!!!

What battery do you run on this i just got one nd i get 15min run time max at 100% I'm using a 5200mah lectron pro lipo... also how hard is it to calibrate a receiver? I would like to change my receiver to this one i just got into the whole rc hobby 2weeks ago nd I've never done anything lol its all new to me 😂😅 if you could make a video of how to calibrate to help us newbies

I think its really sensitive because you did not recalibrate the esc the esc still thinks you are ussi the stx2 radio

I have the same radio on my kraton 4s the stx2 just have massive delay its an awfull radio
I didn't know how bad the STX-2 radio was until I did the upgrade. I now have the Dumbo receiver in all of my Arrma vehicles (Granite, Big Rock, Typhon, Kraton 6S) and recently tested it on the Kraton 6S. After I did a new ESC calibration on the Kraton, I realized that I needed to go back and re-calibrate all of them. New video with all updates coming soon. Thanks for watching, happy bashing!!!
