- After watching many CZcams videos about the Kraton 6S, and after a few runs, I discovered that the factory ships them with the ESC punch level set at 4 (out of 9) which is pretty modest. Mine wouldn't do wheelies and I was considering buying a higher "C" rated battery to get that 'umph' off the line that I was looking for. Before buying a new battery, I decided to turn my punch level up to 8 to see if I would notice any differences. Oh boy, what a difference a small setting in the ESC makes!!! SAVED SOME $$$ TOO!!! -djsoulforce!

I turned my punch level up to 5 on my kraton 6s v5 and man I can really tell the difference. This machine is a BEAST!

There's a part of the video where some boys passed by the house on bicycles. When they first yelled at me to get my attention, I turned away. That was their cue to leave me alone and that I was filming... I've trained them well, lol!!!!
So what do you think about that dumbo rc transmitter & gyro on the kraton
I found the Dumbo transmitter to be more responsive than the stock TX that came with the Kraton. I have the gyro turned off however!! Thanks for watching and your question!!
Hey bro, i have the same remote control on my kraton but when u do a fail save check (turning of the remote, and leaving the car on) it wants to rode away on it self. Do u maybe know how to fix?
That's a good question bro. I'll have to check mine and see if it does the same. If so, then check out the user's manual for the Dumbo transmitter to see if there is a setup for Fail Safe. I'll get back to you and let you know. I'm about to take my Kraton out today for a run! Thanks

Hi enjoy your videos I’ve had the kraton a few days. Today took it to the park where there was a few dogs I think I caused a ruckus but knobody said anything apart from how fast does that go! lol 👍🏻💪🏻

-- I would try putting weight on the front end before the wheelie bar. And perhaps stiffen up the rear suspension. seems a bit bouncy compared to the front.

It was after I watched your video, I started looking at 100c batteries. The pack I'm running is 60c, it woke up after the ESC adjustment, so I'm going to stick with it for now. Just imagine turning up your punch level (if you haven't already)... Thanks for stopping by brother and the feedback.

That 100 c lectron pro kicks like a mule when ya hit the throttle and has great run time...it's hard to find the battery now it's sold out damn near everywhere I got mine from HobbyTown 169.00. What % do you have your brakes on? Also do you have your ebc set to 6 volts or 7.4 volts. Nevermind 50% brakes 👍🏾
Hello, thank you for watching. I have my brakes set at 50% and my ESC is set at the factory default, which I believe is 7.4 volts!!

@@DJSOULFORCE I think my steering servo went out. My kraton 6s 45 won't steer and I've only had it for 2 weeks smh
@@boomerak4774 Check to see if the servo is reacting to your remote controller, but the wheels won't turn. It could be a loose screw! If it's not a loose screw, contact Arrma, they'll send you a new one. Good luck!!

You should get yourself a Hobbywing program card, it makes it ez and quick to do. I’m happy to you are enjoying cars now. Be careful not to get hooked.
Thanks bro. I have a program card, but it's easier (in my opinion) when your ESC has a set button on it. With the Arrma's, you'd have to remove a couple of screws to open up the receiver box to plug in the program card. Get to know how to change settings with the set button, changes can be done quick and easy in the field... POW!!!
SOUL FORCE QUADS I think you need to take a second look and get a old version of a Hobbywing program card the plugs into the ESC fan connection no opening of the receiver box. The Armma ESC is made by Hobbywing. In fact I replaced all 5 of my BLX 185 esc with a straight up Hobbywing MAX6 or EX run 10. Thy make life so EZ.
@@andrewap77 You're right, my card does plug into the ESC fan, my bad, lol. I've had it for a while and never needed to program any of my esc's until now. Thanks bro, I'm about to hook 'em all up to the card and take a look. POW!!!

SOUL FORCE QUADS No you don’t. All you have to do is unplug the fan on the esc and plug the card in. It is a thousand times easier

Yeah Soul. I just bought the Kraton 6s v5 a few weeks ago and they have the brakes set at 75%. I think that is way to muchl Either 50% or 63% is plenty.
Wow, I didn't know they had a version 5! I'm not sure, but I think I have my brakes set at 50%, I do know for sure that I reset mine from the factory settings. Thanks for watching and your feedback!!!
@@DJSOULFORCE yeah do a search for 1/8 scale Arrma Kraton 6s v5 and you will see some of the upgrades from the v4 version. I am surprised you didn't know they have a version 5.

RD's Drone Reviews After 50-60c you won’t get much more punch. Just a higher price battery
@@TheBigToe69 correct, higher C means less internal resistance and less heat and the lipos are better but you won't notice much difference going up from 50c just doing backyard bashing.

What's your idea of light play? My brother has one and other than a few minor things which he done, it's been a great buggy. Jumping, crashing, cartwheels, head over ass, hard running almost everyday since he's had it, which is about 3 weeks now. The crappy spektrum servo had to be replaced and 2 wing/spoiler mounts which he broke.
