Hello, im hoping you can help me with this transmitter. Ok so i turn it on and the on button continues to blink along with three beeps with Tone that goes from high to low every few seconds. I have new batteries in it. It has bonded with the receiver. Oh and when I turn it on the red light between ch3 and ch4 stays on for a couple seconds. Please help me. The receiver is the x6dc w/out gyro.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago for one of my budget builds. And i actually ended up using in my c1 hardbody its been so awesome just make sure to keep the manual there is alot i got the one that controls all lights without using up channels, it works awesome on my winch, and a dig unit. I love it

What about the 3-in-1 receiver was bad for crawling? I'm guessing it didn't modulate well? I'm thinking of getting something like this so I can hook up an ESS on a FCX24 Smasher
Yeah the modulation is terrible on it.
I like my Smashers stock transmitter, looks so similar to this one too. I ordered this for 2995 I'm modifying due to that reason alone lol.
Can you adjust the trim or limits of the rear steer?
You can adjust the trim and end points on all channels besides ch5 which is the dial and it can basically be set at whatever by the amount you turn the dial. So when running the rear steer on yhe ch5 dial you’ll just scoll it back to center every time you use it.
How fast in ms is the dilay from this remote?
Hello, im new to the hobby. Im wondering why the qd10 receiver you mentioned was not good for crawling, and what does make a receiver good for crawling? Any help is appreciated, thanks for the video.
It’s an all in one esc/receiver and the esc just isn’t good at low speed crawling. Not real smooth. So I prefer to go with a better esc and one of the other receivers.
How to reverse Ch5
So you have to get the mini receiver to run the crawler, or can you just get the 3in1 receiver?
They have several other receivers. You can run any of them. Just prefer the micro for these 1/24s cause it takes up less room. The built in esc isn’t good for crawling so you won’t want to run it but you can bypass the esc like I did in the video and just use the receiver portion if you’d like.

I have a different dumborc controller and I love em as well but I can not get mine to turn my lights off an on. Did you have the same issue?
Yeah usually to do that you need one of these controllers. Plug the lights into it and then into the channel you’re using. Then it’ll let you turn them off/on. Same with all of my transmitters.

How has this setup been working so far? I just got mine in and im having an odd twitch with the steering sometimes. Sometimes going from one direction to the other itll spaz out, but go to the correct direction and distance turned. The distance from the setup doest seem to matter. I was curious if youve had this issue?
No mine has been great so far. I run it in several of the small scale trucks and one in a 1/10 truck. Haven’t had any issues so far.
@2fmrc thank you for the reply, I'm going to move it to a few different places on my truck and see if maybe there was some interference from the motor maybe. I'll also try the other receivers I get with it.

I use the dumbo and the GT5. Crawlers and scale rigs etc on the gt5. Badgers on my dumbo.

Have you seen the flysky FS-MG7?
Yeah it looks kinda basic but I haven’t looked into it. Are there micro receivers for it? I’m kinda fed up with Flysky changing their receivers every time they release a new transmitter. I have about 75 Flysky receivers across about 4 different transmitters & none will work with one another. It’s aggravating when you wanna upgrade transmitters but have as many RCs as I have and have to replace all of those receivers lol
@@2fmrc it’s compatible with about 12 flysky receivers. Including 2 esc/receiver combos.
I’ve watched other reviews on this item, don’t know if I’m 100% sold on it.
Highly considering going all in and buying the Furitek avatar. But shipping to down under is pricey. 😬

@@liambell7883 I definitely would take this over the avatar. I had major issues with mine after 2 uses. But maybe it was just bad luck. It’s way overpriced imo though.

I want something small an compact for my scx24 so it fits in my lunch bag with my lunch, currently I have the Spektrum DX3 and it’s pretty bulky I reckon an the nightmare I just had with it I’m just not interested with it at this point. I’ll dust it off maybe when I break into 1/10th scale
@@liambell7883 I’d take the DumboRC or a Flysky gt5 over the avatar for sure. The gt5 isn’t a small transmitter but it has a great feel to it. The dumbo is just hard to beat for the price.
Toy grade. Im sure there are dumbo radiolovers out there. Just my thoughts on it. Probably great WLT WL TOYS trucks and such.

I bought one of these from Amazon, and it immediately had a low battery warning beep every 5 seconds or so while turned on. Requested a replacement from Amazon, which worked for one afternoon then began the low battery beep. Is anyone else having this issue?

@@2fmrc Maybe there was a bad batch of them that ended up at the Amazon distribution center where I live. Everyone seems to be trouble free, and I really like how it works. Bummer I can't get a good one!

Hey Matt, you ever get a chance to play with the Flysky FS-MG7? It has rear steer but not separately controllable. It works like the Avatar system and also on a budget. The Shop - Mini RC has a great review on it if you haven't checked it out! czcams.com/video/DIHFjo9-9QU/video.html. I think it even works with the big flystuff receivers as well and comes apart for easy storage. Thanks for the review on this one as well! Glad to see some good budget transmitters coming out!
Yeah it’s pretty basic and I hate rear steer on a selectable switch. I’m also pretty tired of Flysky releasing new transmitters and none of their old receivers working with them. I have probably 75 Flysky receivers across 4 different transmitters. None will work with each other and none will work with any new releases they come out with. Maybe the mg7 would work with some of them (don’t think it does) but I’m not willing to chance it lol. So basically every time I want to upgrade I have to replace every receiver or keep the old transmitters. I basically run the Radiolink rc8x in everything now but this dumbo will work with their old receivers for anyone who has their older stuff. That’s the one place Flysky drops the ball and it’s a big issue for me. Enough to make me switch brands when I used to really love them.

If you’re changing out the esc it will. The Trx4m esc & receiver is all in one so you have to swap out both to change the transmitter.
