      They were probably loose cartridges that fell in the suitcase. It’s easy to do and not notice. Perhaps they traveled somewhere else some other time where they were either hunting or going to a range and when they cleaned out the suitcase didn’t notice the loose rounds. I have my ammo separate from my regular luggage so this doesn’t happen to me. Also in the U.S. ammunition is legal to possess it’s not contraband as in other countries so they weren’t on as high alert for not taking it.

    • @TodaysDante
      @TodaysDante Před měsícem +6

      @@carguy3028 - That, to me, is totally irresponsible. These are controlled items and anyone who has them should know where they are. @carguy3028 Před měsícem +4

      @@TodaysDante I have 500 to 1,000 rounds of ammunition per firearm depending on my stocks at that time. The firearm is what is important, ammunition is not controlled in 40 something states. You can go in and buy it. This wasn’t even ammunition in a magazine it was loose cartridges. The firearm is what you are controlling without the firearm the ammunition is useless. In most states you can buy ammunition over the counter no background check, just show id saying you are old enough and for most of my life that’s how it was in California. How dangerous is ammunition without the firearm it goes to, you have to have the correct firearm to use them. If you think these items are controlled it shows you don’t know much about the laws concerning the purchase of ammunition. The military controls ammunition but in the civilian market it is widely available.

      You find Oklahomans embarrassing?? I find that most folks from Oklahoma tend to be good people. Their morals and values are much like what Texans had before the influx of people from out of state. Plus, they're now fifth in business growth in the US. Rivals in sports, but that's where it ends. Plus, the two states have a lot in common, and support each other during a crisis. Remember the big Texas power outage in February 2021? Who do you think contributed the most in helping restore power? Trashing an entire state's population based on your own juvenile perceptions is beyond ignorant.

      @@MarcusBPSo you're going to stop falsely trashing California and New York and other Blue states or is that somehow different?
