Gr8 job, Cuomo, for a b.s. interview where you hold these guilty men 0% accountable.
It's good to hear Jeriann acknowledge the reason for these laws. In her earlier interview, she more so blamed it on TSA, which is wack.
One thing Cuomo said that was interesting was that these laws shouldn't be for tourists. So the solution is to have one set of laws for American tourists & a different set of laws for guilty citizens of Turks and Caicos? Way to sound entitled & privileged. No. Laws are made for a reason. This is a sad situation, but ignorance should not be an acceptable defense. Break the law, serve the sentence.

I've been seeing quite a few people saying how ridiculous this is, it's a small crime, and how we do it in America... that's the thing tho... they weren't in America. I hope they all get back home soon as possible, but hey... their turf, their laws.

First how many bullets are in a round? How is it that three guys “forgot they had bullets that kill in their baggage and where did they go before that that they needed all those bullets that kill? The first thing I do when I fly is chek with airline what can’t be carried on board. I think bullets fall in same category as guns. Lastly, if three guys from any country come in to our country with “bullets they forgot in their bags” in their bags all three at the same time, what do you think police would do? Also, if it was three Black American guys in this scenario, would we know about this and how would the media be saying? Honestly, smuggling guns from Virginia is a huge problem in our own states and all the guns these tropical islands get are US made. I would appreciate knowing crime statistics on tourists there. Surely the natives and tourists that are there and know about what the police did about all those bullets are feeling like that government is protecting their lives. It only takes ONE bullet to kill a human. How many bullets in each of those rounds. From each of those three guys?

It's not weird. You CANT BRING AMMO INTO A FOREIGN COUNTRY!! Stop blaming TSA for not catching it. Those men need to take accountability. Be responsible and check your bags thoroughly before going to A FOREIGN COUNTRY! Get your wives to look over your bags. If you own guns and ammunition check your bags! can you imagine a foreign person coming into the US, committing a crime, and using the "other countries don't punish this harsh" defense? Or using the ignorance card? "I didn't know about the laws". Come on... So much entitlement.

Gee if I come to America I follow American rules and what is expected of me.
Same if I visit other nations. To bad if he got caught and has to time in their system.
If he came to my country with ammo he would also be locked up in detention with other illegals until court and can take a very long time.
Not buying ammo in luggage as a mistake as no laws anywhere accept ignorance as an excuse.

You have to respect the laws and regulations of other countries. The level of entitlement of this segment is telling/
