If I'm just going to town to buy a few groceries, get a pizza, dog & horse feed, I 100% of the time leave my purse & phone home. I either take cash or my debit card, so I don't take my purse, not even my drivers license. Nor do I take my phone, I'm only going to be gone for a couple of hours and don't want to be bothered with my phone. Actually, when I do take my phone, I keep it turned off bec my car charger doesn't work & I always leave it & my purse in my car when I go in a store. My purse is very heavy, so I just put cash or my debit card in my pocket and that way I only spend how much cash I have or how much I've put on my debit card.

Go and investigate the boyfriend thoroughly first, then look elsewhere for her , if a woman leaving her boyfriends house, does he not make sure she return home safely?

I think it's possible that they want him to believe that they believe his story...it would make him more likely to slip up. I think they just don't have enough to arrest him.

Police are oftentimes more incompetent than not! We could do better than most.
Boyfriend said he "thought" the mom was picking Brittany up. Did Brittany say this? Did BF ask where she was going ? Why would she have mom pick her up when she drives and its only 15 min away and mom talked to Brittany 30 min before she left, saying she did not sound drunk, was "clear." I don't know any women who put their purse in their car, then walk off in the dark.
I do know many many cases I have watched the details of where hubbie or BF made sure they kept the car and the woman was murdered. Sounds like BF and Brittany may have been close to a break up. LOTS RED FLGS HERE!!!!

Mom talked to her 30 mins and she said she would tell her later, and was crying. Her and BF was fighting. He had two days to clean up the evidence.

If they don’t know what direction she went, from the house, that means they have no surveillance showing her leaving. Definitely something to do with the boyfriend. No woman is leaving their purse in the car and just taking off. No way.

Has a cadaver dog gone thru the house, property and car? Were they fighting when her mother called and that’s why she was crying?
I'd bet money on it. Even the boyfriend's story that he thought she'd gone to her mother's for 2 days suggests that. He's very suspicious in my opinion.

Last person to see her, she was also upset when speaking to her mother, her keys still in car. Its only the boyfriend who said she left the house! Who is he really?

I know two women that "vanished". One was the sister of my secretary the other the former wife of my roommates date.
Both were trying to leave an abusive relationship and got killed by their Husband or fiancé.
Also I met two "widowers" while dating on line who claimed that their wives died while on foreign vacation.
Then there are those women who suddenly "disappear" on a hike. I lived in WA for years and you can dump any body in many places where no one will ever find them. It seams every weekend you would hear in the news about a case like this.
It's an epidemic where men get rid of spouses to not split their money or punish a woman for wanting to end a relationship.
If you want to end a marriage or relationship then disappear well prepared (money, place to live) without a conversation about it. Make the man believe everything is fine on your end.
While you are dating always let him get annoyed with you and let HIM chose you are not his cup of tea. It's much safer.
Don't be the one braking up with a man.

No, they actually are that ignorant. There are lots of places nearby that could be checked in which they actually told locals NOT to check because it was winter/too cold. SMH.

Why did the boyfriend think her mother was coming to get her? Even if the mother was coming for her, I'm sure she would have taken her purse and keys with her. Exactly what he said why didn't she take her car. I don't think she left the house. What problems were her and the boyfriend having. If you have trouble with alcohol why would you work at a liquor store. Was something happening there. Did she go out to leave and something was wrong with the car and she called her mother. Did the boyfriend do something to the car? My heart breaks for this family. Taking the sim card out makes you think the boyfriend took it out so they wouldn't follow it.

The call was part of his plan. He prob had her call her mom for his alibi. She was crying. He “Thought the mom was coming” 🙄

I live in the area that Creg Lyles disappeared from. Its crazy because its like he just vanished. There have been no updates on him and its quite sad! I hope hes found💔💔💔
The majority of recent missing person cases that have been solved are due to community/non- law enforcement assistance. Law enforcement has become a "watered down" version of investigation and prevention services. This family will have to connect with community activists/advocates, concerned citizens and social media influencers to actively investigate/search for their family member. We have to commit to the grassroots efforts and pray that LE will tie up the loose ends❤🙏!

As Law Olmstead mentioned in this podcast why are we not privy to the other roommates in the home and what is their criminal background if any. Early was remiss in stating " we know she left the home." Mr Early you know this how??" Because the boyfriend and roommate's told you? She could still be on the property. She could have been set up and lured to be silenced or abducted. Not saying bf had anything to do with it but we need another pair of eyes to investigate everyone again. Get a reward going. Keep her name out there. Why are we just hearing about the purse and and keys in jeep. Were they planted there .What is up with removal of sim card. If your planning on going out you wouldn't remove it. Red flags everywhere.

Maybe someone she trusted picked her up. Who were her trusted acquaintances? Did she start drinking and was overcome? The police seem very trusting of the "story"?
1. Start with any AA Meetings that she may of went to.2. Did she have any Ex Drunk Boyfriends who may of gotten jealous? 3. You telling us that there is no CCTV, Outside from where those photos were taken from?
One can only get so far on foot with no means of communication.
Brad Bacon her boyfriend and his brother Tyler were both at the home when Brittany left that night and as far as I have heard - Brad had his own issues with alcohol. Since when does a person who’s partner “walked off” and was never seen again need to remain anonymous? Her iPad was left behind so I am sure the investigators know who she was in contact with shortly before her disappearance. Yes you are correct that is the only footage that has been released publicly and her family has been very active is seeking information.

I love the way this reporter describes people. I feel like she truly cares. My heart and prayers go out to all families and individuals missing or suffering right now.

In the case of Brittany, I would look at the live in boyfriend first.
Could she have walked to an AA meeting and someone nabbed her? I went to a meeting where a convicted killer was released after 25 years and was court ordered to go to AA meetings, I scidattled right over to a different meeting 🤣
How is her vehicle at the boyfriend's but he thinks she's with her mom?? Makes no sense that he wouldn't notice it unless he doesn't go out. Of course he refused to speak. Why wouldn't an innocent, loving boyfriend want to talk? Because the lips could slip. He knows something even if it's that she's safe and now feels he can't retract what he told mom in the beginning and the story has spiraled out of control.
Brittany is a lovely person by the sound of it. Have they taken the dogs in to the house and around the house.? You take your car and your purse.

If they had a row, maybe she ran out intending to run off but thought feck it I'll sleep in the car, and then something else happened. But maybe that's why her stuff was in the car ? Theres a case in Ireland where the woman disappeared from the home, the husband cooperated with the gardai ( irish police) for years, even giving tv interview etc...they were looking everywhere apart from where they should've in the first place,which was in the guys house. She was buried in the floor. A new couple had moved next door and were getting their plumbing sorted and the blockage led to the husband's house. The gardai didnt have a warrant to check before because she was only listed as a missing person, which is ridiculous. So ye, I'd say check the house out, or the grounds of it.

I just hate when people instantly blame whoever was close to the victim! Wether it was the parents, sibling, significant other or spouse! Especially when they say, "He she gives me the creeps, She doesn't look right out of her eyes, he didn't cry enough, I can't believe they went to eat at cafe, he's guilty because he hasn't given an interview, he's guilty because he gave an interview, she's guilty because she didn't help search (even though LE told her not to go search), he killed her in their house (even though there's no signs of struggle, no blood & the cadaver dogs didn't hit anywhere in or outside the house! I can go on forever with these ridiculous things people say about whomever they want to be guilty! They don't give a hoot about investigating the crime to figure out who is really guilty, they just want to hang whomever they want to be guilty!!
Of course then when someone is arrested & goes to trial, the jury either ignores the reasonable doubt law or they don't understand what reasonable doubt means & how it works!!

Okay, sure, but in this case it IS suspicious. She called her mother about 30 minutes before she was last seen and was crying and said she'd tell her more later. Her keys and wallet are still in the vehicle. The boyfriend didn't seek out her whereabouts for 2 days and said he assumed she was at the mothers...seems like a lie with an element of truth in that it sort of admits that they were fighting. While he could be innocent, he seems suspicious for more than trivial things like his demeanor on camera.

It's possible that she and the BF were fighting and she was sitting in the car like a phone booth. It's also possible that the keys and wallet are staged. They definitely need to investigate the BF further. The situation is very suspicious.

You should never do that, if you fail, even if you are innocent, you’re screwed.
I mean lie detector tests aren’t always viable. Also they’re not admissible in court.. I do believe they’re a somewhat good tool but they’re not always accurate..
I would never submit to a lie detector test. They aren't scientific, and results are up to the tester's interpretation. No thanks!
