- This has been filmed over the course of 4 months, as I started with an idea one night to launching a new product on RCeveryday.com The shop truck kit is designed for the DIY builder, only including the base chassis kit setup for true to scale independent front suspension using existing 1/10 scale tamiya TL01 parts, and an accurate solid rear axle with leaf springs. Plus a scale drivetrain ready to make a running driving 1/10 scale model car basically using the rc4wd scottsdale body.

Awesome work! Looks like a great design for DIY RC builder. 👍
Always a pleasure workjng with RC Everyday! Cannot wait for these to be out in the wild and start seeing what people do with them.
I've been thinking of the same concept for a Nascar build for years. Can't wait to see how it all comes together.
Your kits are soooo freaking cool. I wish I had the confidence to try to build one for myself. The stuff you do is amazing!
Awesome video documentary on your process, Josh. Man, it’s so much fun to watch your process and I love that you share your whole process of thinking. A lot of people guard and hold back information, but you are so open source, that’s what I love about you man. And you encourage innovation and exploration. Damn dude, this is a load of fun. Thank you for making these kits. You realize what every other guy wants to do. And I love that you work with Jason on these… that spirit of collaboration is so awesome. He’s such a cool guy. Can’t wait to try a kit!
This is going to be awesome!
I’m currently building a 2wd c10 with the Scottsdale body myself, I’m using the redcat 59 impala chassis. I’m using the traxxas hotrod wheels on mine, it’s getting there just taking awhile. I had to alter the chassis quite a bit to make it fit the wheelbase, but it fit pretty good with some trimming in some spots. That kit looks really good though, definitely a lot of thought and nice work.
Looking forward to this kit definitely going to get myself a shop truck
Taking one of these rc4wd bodies and making a race truck would be dope. Think like a c-10 gone le mons racing.
Thats going to be fire
Looks awesome buddy!
Whoa I can only imagine how many hours you’ve put into this project, great job this truck looks awesome😎
Man I Tell you that is going to be a awesome truck after you get done with it man
I see an addition to your shop in the near future. So excited to see you expanding.
That is amazing
This is Next Level! Game Changer! So Awesome.
Awesome Josh, here watching Saturday morning
this will be awesome with the TF2 Midnight Edition. Ive this in mind for years just couldnt make it work without a printer lol
I will definitely be building one of these as soon as it's available. I've got a 86 square body that's light blue. Can't wait.
Super nice video great job👍👍✨️🚘✨️✨️✨️
Side note, Did you paint that truck yourself Looks awesome I had a 1970 chevy, With that same color Blue,,👍🛻🛻🛻,,,
👍🚘🛻
I was leaning to a rat rod kit, but as soon as I saw the first couple photos of this chassis, I instantly though about a scale Lil Red Expresses. Now we just need a good Dana 44 or 60, Chevy 10 or 12 bolt or a Ford 9" rear end. You definitely put some work into this kit as well as the rat rod kits.
I found it I am an idiot..it clearly says rcw4 I enjoy your channel!!
I know you feel starting my own crawler rails company
definitely gonna be a sick build
Once you have the set screw(s) backed out of the top thrust collar, I would not be surprised to hear that the collar is screwed onto the spindle. It was common practice to put fine pitch threads on the spindle above the quill. The top thrust collar was made with female threads, and usually was semi-split with a pinch screw to lock it onto the spindle threads and hold the thrust adjustment.
A possibility is the thrust adjustment threads were damaged or turned off the spindle by the owner, and the collar shown in this video was the phenolic thrust washer in place between the shoulder on the quill and the quill. Typically, the phenolic washer went on top of the quill as there was fairly low end thrust needed to raise the spindle. At the bottom, there was usually a ball thrust bearing. The ball thrust bearings are still manufactured.
Regardless. Locking pliers also work well in this situation.
Outstanding Video 💯 Keep up the great work
So awesome 👌
Sorry didn’t know there were different headers you can get!
Hey try a front axle from a Tamiya semi truck
This is awesome! Definitely have to get one of these. I have a chevy stepside bed I made out of styrene that needs a home. Nice work
“Headers are going to be a nightmare”
How scale is that? LoL
Can you incorporate the headers into the motor mount for a one piece to each side
Any idea when you're gonna release the kit and will you have a complete breakdown of what parts are needed to complete it?
Kit came out a week ago and sold out in 3 hours. Have more on the way, The parts list is in the description of the kit on rceveryday.com as well as the description for the assembly video on youtube.
I really like that blue color. Mind sharing what it is?
its rustoleum 2x matte nantucket blue
@@RCeveryday think I've found the color for my next tiny truck. Thanks!
Can you please tell me where you got that Chevy body.
Very nice looking build. Do you have any links to where we can purchase the kit ?
When they become available, they will be on Rceveryday.com
Love your work. Do you know where to get a 73-79 F100 body? Would love to make a replica of my truck.
Unfortunately the only mass produced bodies are lexan from traxxas. There is a hardbody bronco that generation I’ve seen on eBay and Amazon. But no pickups
@RCeveryday ok. Thanks. There was a guy that built them that I knew of a while back but no longer have his info
Greetings. can you tell me what kind of rubber? if it's not difficult to link.
Take offs from the traxxas factory five hot rod
When is the chassis available
A couple weeks
Looking forward to aquire one
How much is this gonna cost?
All the info is on Rceveryday.com
