This will happen if you don't pay the contractor for laying down your asphalt driveway🤣🤣 2:40
so is this really the story behind that? 😅 I doubt the contractor made any money after having to pay for the damage 🤣
The real story is unknown, but that was the first thing that came to my mind. :)
@@sneakprev1984
I came to ask for an explanation of that part.
Canadian speak 🎉
@@sneakprev1984 depends on how big the asphalt job was...
I don’t speak French but that guy said “Bluetooth frame” in French😂
That’s not French that’s Quebecer a very unique dialect. He’s Basicly saying the floors are gone. So are the rockers. The hose clamps don’t exist anymore, fuel tank is falling through and that’s the Bluetooth frame a new technology on frames etc :)
@@GotrekGurninsson oh okay, that is cool to know because it sounds like French.
@@jamesnall569hi, I'm the guy in the video. We speak French in Quebec, just like Americans speak English with a different accent than people from the UK :)
Soon to be Fred Flintstone by the looks of that floor board....
@@zombie-yellowça va leur prendre une traduction. pourtant c'était très clair.
guy feeding the shock assembly into that machine cracked me up :D
When those springs go they can shatter your femur , which is the strongest bone in your body . I am sure putting your hand up will stop it tho .
I had one attack me in '97 when a spring compressor snapped. It broke my collarbone and convinced me never to try that again. I was cringing hard during that video. 😅
The spring would be the one with a broken femur if it hit me
Yeah, that hand with a knit glove was killing me. Good way to lose your hand along with your face
@@myrlyn1250 holy sh1t...
Yea... Reminds me of a Ukranian who has a compressor and blows up tires at 50 bar. He sets up mock rooms with stuffed people and sees what happens when things go boom. He even tested it out with a wide tractor tire and wow, the rim became the projectile, went through the wall, impacted the side of a hill and ricocheted. The scarecrow like guy positioned near the tire lost his head.
Sounds like fun in practice, but when it is real, it does get serious really fast. Even working in the oilfield, a guy I knew had his jugular severed by steel that came off a sledge hammer, and he was not even using any tools, he was simply walking past someone joining hammer unions on pig iron. He survived because of quick actions with the on site medic, but was a close call that changed the policy on worn out hammer unions. Someone reading this might remember what company that was from.
7:22 translation from Quebecois to english:today we have a beautiful saturn ion. We have a small hole in the floor, the gas lines are mended with collars. Theres no rockers, the gas tank is nearly fallen out and the best part is the bluetooth frame which is a new technology to make cars lighter.
🤣
French Canadian is an insane dialect
@@joseeduardo4327 real
Osti de crisse de tabarnak! 🤣🤣🤣
I can hear the customer with that last one. "My windshield wiper laid an egg!"
🤣🤣🤣
I had one years ago on a little Hyundai Tiburon: Customer states "Rear wiper trying to make love to fuel door." The nut holding the rear wiper on had come loose and popped off it's spline, so when the rear wiper was turned on, it tried wiping the driver side fender where the fuel door is. Cracked me and the other guys up something fierce. Reset the wiper, tightened the nut and kicked it out. I told the Service Desk not to charge the customer because it gave us such a good laugh.
Customer states: Windshield wiper sounds like an angry chicken. Please check.
I'm glad that prank was done using a musical harmonica. I don't want to think about what would've happened if they used a non-musical harmonica.
That looked to me like a plastic toy-harmonica, so I have my doubts whether it would be 'musical'!
had a friend duct tape a kazoo over someone's turbo blowoff valve one time, scared the hell out of him
@@fatcatpoppy I was wondering how it would be possible to make use of a kazoo in a similar prank!
@5:00 Being a mechanic in Vermont, this is what almost every brake job looks like - you need a torch for almost every part and piece thats older than 3 years and 60% of the time you need to replace and hardware you remove.
I envy mechanics living in the southwest...your jobs must be quick and fun in comparison.
This is why the first time i change the oil on my cars when i get them is take the brake assembly entirely apart and coat the hubs with antiseize. Brakes come apart easy after that.
I started doing this after having a truck that i had to do the same thing on, use a sledge to get the rotors off. Ended up ruining a wheel bearing on the process.
I asked my friend who is a mechanic what to do when you can't get rotors off. He said get a bigger hammer. Ha ha.
I moved down to Texas from Vermont and needed lower control arms done on my S10. Shop quoted 2k back in 2018. It was their way of saying I'm not touching that. Long story short, I learned how to do all my own work short of engine and transmission rebuild because of that one experience. I had to grind and cut the torsion bar out of the lower control arm. Crazy.
I like working on my cars but I wouldn't if everything was rusty all the time. For this reason I could never live in the rust belt.
solidarity from Western Pennsylvania. If I don't have to use the Chinese hot wrench and the angle grinder to get through every simple job, it's a win
Think of it as the weather cooperating to put food on your table.
The object caught up in that tire that sounds like 'WHEEL OF FORTUNE' looks like a truck driver's lost 5th wheel release hook.😆
That's EXACTLY what it is! 😂
AKA a happy hooker@@americanpatriot3638
7:21 let me tell you that even us french often have trouble understanding guys from Quebec
It's the combination of the accent, local expressions and a good amount of Frenglish
3:59 Wheel of fortune. Surprise he didn't say "C'mon Big Money."
7:52 bluethooth frame😂
That chicken riding the wiper arm is hilarious!
Mechanical bull for the chickens 😅
Wip-kip. (Dutch, translates as seesaw-chicken). It's an actual name of a children's toy in the play ground.
Is no one gonna say anything as to how the car is full of Asphalt?
Someone shouldn't have parked where they did.
Someone pissed off some road workers.
But why?
im gonna wager they had an affair and REALLY pissed off their ex.
Shop owner probably bought it off someone that a) failed to pay the asphalt guys or b) woman that cheated on her husband that just so happens to be an asphalt guy.
I want a push start button on my Barra Fuse Box too now!! 😂😂😂
Bro just said modern problems call for modern solutions 😂
Seems like they could've routed it to inside the car rather easily.
Brake rotor was made in china from chinisium. Then at 4:15, that rod with T handle and blunt hook, bent around the front suspension, looks like the tool a truck driver uses to pull the 5th wheel pin.
Some trucker somewhere said some dirty words when they realized they were missing that.
Don't know about trucks, but that hook looks a lot like a lid puller that the cable industry uses to open peds and vaults. Usually used on light vaults, whereas the big steel ones are used to open manholes.
I have one of those, and I lift manhole covers with it.
those are also bread hooks used to pull a tray of buns forward at McDonalds - I remember it from the video "McDonalds cashier defends self with metal rod"
@@TrevorSlatery lols I love the number of industries that use this same hook. Must sell them at every warehousing store.
4:10 that is a tool that is used to pull the 5th wheel release on a semitruck.
I'm sure a few dozen swear words are tied to that missing tool.
I was gonna say a case hook. Same tool different uses. Yours makes more sense to be on a Highway.
its also a patio stone lifter
we call it a handhole hook in telecom work XD
I would say it looks like a dent pusher, which we always use
5:39 adjustable springs. Nice.
4:23 "The technician discovered that oil was being sucked through the PVC system. . ." Um, it's PCV, as in Positive Crankcase Ventilation. PVC is what plastic plumbing drain pipes are made of.
Everyone knows the PVC systems are on the cars of people with dyslexia.
2:58 OMG. 😫 That starter motor buried under the intake made the biggest impression on me. I’d be writing so much hate mail to Nissan R&D on that one.
1:06 One traffic violation doesn't give you free reign to commit another. Those flashing lights are very illegal and a great way for OP to get their truck impounded.🤦♂
1:47 That prank is older than my grandma but it still works.
2:45 Ok, that's not a prank. That's felony criminal damage.
Yeah... I'd like to see the guy at 1:06 do that to an unmarked patrol car. They would probably issue a citation and impound the truck leaving the driver to find a way back home.
I really like the idea of flashing people back, but the obvious danger that creates is unacceptable. Also, no one is going to be able to figure out that they have their high beams on from being flashed like that.
Theses flashing lights should be OEM factory equipped.👍
Make the light color amber and call them safety lights. Problem solved.
@@jonzo22 Jeeps are especially bad.
Why was that Styrofoam cup stuck in the will not melted from the heat at all and only dirty from finger prints?
Yes , set up just to get on video. Styrofoam isn’t very durable.
8:23 Yeah right!…like the hand was going to protect him from the spring.
That and the safety squint, he’ll be fine 😂😂😂
7:53 'Bluetooth frame' makes it past the language barrier lolz
chicken on the wiper killed me
at least there's no spray foam this time
Normally I’d say something like “the person who engineered the engine is different than the person who engineered the car” but that starter is just malicious
Couldn't help laughing at the Quebec French at 7:55. It's funnier than the rust on the car!!!! The way he says car - he says VoItOuR!!!!
Actually he pronounced it normally...we mainly say char for cars anyway
@@DyingSlow As a Brit that now lives in Ontario Canad coming across Quebecois always fascinates me!! I think Quebec French is unique in it's own way.
Voiture is the word in any variations of french... so?
Pollito/Chicken makes the video worth while ☺️
8:50 I'm guessing it was towed in neutral with the driveshaft still hooked up.
Harmonica prank is GENIUS 😂😂😂😂😂

4:18 That there is what grocery store employees use to move milk crates inthe back of the dairy cooler.
That chicken riding the wiper arm is absolutely hilarious!
0:17 Dealership tech did that to my truck (they broke it, not just pulled it off), cost me an extra day at the dealership (recall). 🤣
Honestly, nothing cracks me up more than taking a friggin' sledge to parts that are stuck. Like there's literally no other way.
But nothing will beat the rambo side window one.
just came from the job at the local garage and open up youtube to see other people deal with basicly the same things
These are bangers. Thanks for compiling these! Hard to find them on the internet anymore. Used to be thousands.
"just rolled in" "mechanical nightmare" on youtube
@@AffordBindEquipment That helps, I'll binge out later today. Cheers bud.
@@dimitar4y you'll find some repetition as they seem to "borrow" from each other.
1:30 where can i get that fast tire changing system ? 😂😂😂😂
You can make one yourself and save money. All you need is a sawzall with a metal blade.
5:39 gotta love those new variable rate leaf springs
Lmao the chicken at the end 😂
I desperately need one of the window chickens! They're so cute!
I usually adjust my mirrors when I’m getting blinded at night. I even wear amber lenses to help. Think I’ll get the trucks bumper lights!
Make sure they are amber in color. Flashing white or red could lead to tickets for you. Amber colored could be explained as "safety lights".
Is….is that a chicken on your wiper?
Started using a cabin filter with Arm & Hammer included 2.5 yrs ago. Most odor free truck I've owned in decades. I usually change them annually.
That chicken was just being extra 😂
At 416 that's a bale hook all bent up 😂
Tired of drivers behind him blinding him with high beams, this driver now drives a lifted dodge 3500 with limo black windows.
😄👍
That one valve called in sick!
One of these things is not like the others.
The starter placement on the Nissan Titan is ridiculous. Design for Maintenance is a real thing. Car designers should check it out.
They’re hard to fix so you have to take it too the dealership
I just replaced the starter on my Toyota Sequoia last weekend and it was in the same location under the intake manifold. It's the same with all Toyota 2UZ-FE engines. It a bear to get to for sure!
Thank you. Will never even think about a Titan after that clip.
@4:07 that's a Dairy section hook so you can grab things that are too far up in the case such as milk, paper gallons of almondmilk, half and half, etc. As soon as I saw the end with the grab handle I recognized it. ... (I use one every day lol).
1:10 when everyone else is rocking, but you just want to chill
must be great driving along in a country well knowing no vehicles on the road have ever been inspected since new
2:56 The engineer: *"Not my job* to figure out how to design an easily to fix car."
the harmonica was a legend
I kinda like the under-hood start button.
probably some old school philosophical Aussie farmer or Southern Yankee, or maybe a rough speaking European saying its "better than modern car rubbish engine immobilisers".
Probably a result of some "redneck" who needed to drive it but didn't want to put any more money into and had some parts laying around anyway.
4:10 in the video I can tell you is a 5th wheel bar for unlocking the 5th wheel on a semi truck.
The starter motor concealed beneath the intake left a lasting impact on me.
4:14 that's a 5th wheel pin puller for a semi truck
0:15 my friends' audi Q7 had this issue, but it was located in such a way he kicked it off every single time he got out of the car
The HD air brake rotor on the semi is called a ‘splined rotor’ . It uses shims and bolts between the splines, but the rotor actually floats. Used on some Hwy Coaches
9:46 the cat 😂😂😂😂
4:08 i can tell you what that is. Its a 5th wheen release for a transport.
The quality of mechanic available is no less terrifying than the quality of car owner/driver!
That's in quebec i know this for 2 reason 1 theres like 5 people in the entire continent of Europe driving a saturn and 2 they'd be used to citroen peugeot and renault for which this would be "a light coat of rust"
Thanks Guys. Awesome. Make me feel like a Genius.
Happy to help!😄
0:27 doesn't matter really, as long as the friction surface runs true to the hub it will be fine.
Perfect choice of music at 0:26 😂😂
6:26 "SIR, PUT THE WELDER DOWN AND STEP AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE!"
That guy can really handle a sledgehammer
6.22, what song is that ?, that song really touching my car...
3:58 Wheeel ooofff Fortuuuneee!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You have the radical left everything looks fine to me😂😂😂😂
I gotta remember the harmonica prank!
6:25 WHAT IS THAT SONG
That windshield repair at 7:11+ does not make cents to me...
The part when they had the piece of metal wrapped around the inside of the tire, that is a release for the 5th wheel on a semi truck so they can unhook from the trailer
1:29 Damn, the got the quick wheel release system
Just like at 6:56 i had a customer come in today with a similar complaint, supposedly this noise from his driver's side wheel popped up right after i did an inspection on it, so i popped the hub cap off and low and behold, a rock sitting between the caliper and wheel, i handed it back to the guy and told him to take care of his pet rock.
8:45 Now That, that is really ground up Gears!
3:45 this is a dodge dakota with a 4.7L I know because mine did the exact same thing... glad to know it's common
I upvoted because: the chicken in the end! Best clip!!!
At 4:14 the thing stuck in the wheel was a piece off a semi that you use to pull stuck trqiler hitch dunno how it got their though.😅
The harmonica one gave me ideas
I love seeing all these videos! They remind me of why they still give out Darwin awards!
@ 4:08 That's a Pin Puller used by truck drivers to pull the pin to disconnect the semi-trailer from the tractor.
Chicken going for a ride, some amazing stuff
I feel really bad for that guy working on that really nice car in the nice clean garage when the car takes off and hits the wall.
Lesson learned the hard way. Next time, if he works on the ignition, he should check if the car is in neutral 😀
0:45 i almost started to cry😭😭☹️
Well, now we know it's possible to stretch a Lumina minivan. Like many possible things it's completely stupid. But it is possible.
1:18 The sound must have been simply exquisite.
"teaching them a lesson" is real funny in, like, video games
in real life you get somebody killed because they bruised your ego
8:26 You're going to see one day (or rather feel most likely) that that hand won't do sh*t when one of those springs decides to fly your way... 🤦🏻
He places his hand in front, thinking it will protect him. 😄
0:39 one of the few times crappy noise reduction has made a clip funnier.
0:18 great backround music
My guy 5:00 putting full trust into his equipment
I went to the shop down the street that starts with the letter M as well, A simple brake job.
three months later the car is totaled because it rear-ended a truck.
3:31 - hexed car.
Had a Kawasaki ZX10 in my shop, and each time passing it people would bark their knuckles on it, catch their shins, stuff like that. Parts that shouldn’t have burrs, had burrs that cut you. Never had another ZX10 in the shop that had such bad vibes.
In all the time running my shop, it was the only bike I never test rode after working on it.
I was glad to see the back of the fucking thing, as were the guys who worked with me.
1:27.im guessing it just started making noise yesterday too.
That Nissan starter was WILD! New starter: $200. Labor: $1500.
