The RC4wd build looks so good with those rims and hubcaps.

In my lexicon the Black Truck will forever be known as "J".
And the old yellow Patina tt-02 with the bondo in the tailgate might not be the first one of these slammed Chevy models but it's a icon because of it's CZcams exposure. Awesome video and you and ah J have a great week.

Not only that, but when it comes to the Lexan bodies, it’s definitely a way to make it so your bodies don’t crack to use a plasty dip or even the tape I can’t think of the name of the tape, but it sticks to everything putting a couple strips on the inside of a body makes it so they don’t crack I know we’re not into the Lexan bodies but it really works. I’m surprised Traxxas doesn’t sell it.

I use tamiya Matt clear on the crome parts and it totally dulls it down perfectly, just do a light coat!
Love these types of videos. I do a lot of similar test fitting/redesign work to get our products fitting with model kits or RTR vehicles, but it's always more fun to watch other people do it. 😆 Great work on the latest chassis design! 👍

The traxxas bumpers do look a hundred times better, and are more realistic to the actual bumpers that were on the square bodies. I built a trx4 with a k10 body, but used the traxxas bumpers instead of the rc4wd bumpers. I’m building a c10 project right now on a redcat lowrider 285 chassis I cut up, but I probably will use the traxxas bumpers on the front since I’m doing a roll pan on the rear. I used the traxxas hotrod wheels for my c10 too, but I’m doing mine up as my old 78 gmc sierra grande. Keep up the great work.
You know those builds you’re doing right now would go really nice if they were 79-87 model. If Rc4wd read these comments I hope they know these looks you’re aiming for is pure 80’s. I wish they come up with the right choice of tires. They have the wheels like centerline and such just missing the right outside Día rubber. Keep my fingers cross. Maybe FMS will get there 1st 😂

Someone needs to do a custom flame 🔥 paint job on one of these K10. Something different I’m sure will win! That’s a nice chassis that you made bro! Why not a straight axle in the rear though?

on the black truck is a china version of the rc4wd k44, the blue truck has a boom racing brx80 thats narrower to tuck the deep lip wheels

With your shop truck kit, I could just follow your video on using the Scottsdale and come out with the same thing? I'm asking because man that square body brings back so many good memories. I would love to build one , I mean this as a complement, just as yours looks, maybe a different color or something but I don't know, either way blue on black or black on white both look great, I'm thinking more about those rims you put on the white show truck over on that black one and man I'd wish I could shrink myself down lmao. But yes I am capable of building anything I'm just not nearly as talented as you. It would be nice to have something like that to take to events. I'm very socially awkward and having PTSD kinda kicks in around crowds but I'm trying to make my way out of this shell and this hobby is a awesome crutch if you want to call it that. Anyways bro, keep the great content up and I can't wait to get the money together to make a stab at my own version of your shop truck kit. Yes sir, this is step by step exactly how I built it. The hardest part is tracking down all the parts needed if your not pretty familiar with rc cars and how they go together.

I believe this chassis will work with narrower rear axle and tamiya m-chassis arms...

Would be great to see these narrow rear ends from these trucks . I guess there not real popular for crawling but these truck manufacturers need to take notice. That art is imitating life and the hot rodders in 1/10th are looking at crawlers/scaler parts.

It's pretty pathetic when the parts from an RTR vehicle look way better, and look more scale than the actual scale parts that come on it. 🤦 RC4WD need to pull their heads out their asses, and get their shite together when it comes to these bumpers, bc they have been garbage for a long time now.
