Got all the mods done.. i added 1 thing.. i put 70wt shock oil in the shocks.. it really slowd down the bounce of undampened springs 👌
It’s time for the 80s model already. These look good but we want a different taste. It would be awesome to collect the 78, 80s and 90s models.

Yes. I see that. You would think that they would want to move the passion of 4x4 era to the next gen who remember their year model. The 78 old timer can only appeal so many which soon we’ll be gone. 🤷🏻♂️

Your vids are always fantastic. This Blazer is ordered but i have to wait a while living in Germany. Like this black a lot, i´m not that chrome crazy. Can´t wait to run that black beauty. BTW , while i´m watching it´s raining here also like crazy.

I think the blue limited blazer was the best with the scale V-8 350. I think this one needs bigger tires on it with the lift it comes with!

We used the 2.2 Mud Country tires on my son's AX10 years ago and they worked very well. Good choice, RC4WD. The truck looks great.

If they are smart, they should sell the blacked-out chrome parts separately. Cause that red or blue body would look amazing with the blacked-out chrome parts.

Great video, glad you showed those upgrades. I’ve been really getting into the more scale stuff and I agree, I don’t like how they sit so high out of the box.
The box makes the kit like it sits so much higher and the wheelbase looks super narrow, but now that it's together it looks nothing like what's presented on the box, which is odd. At first I was like it needs to be lowered and it needs Axel extensions/spacers but it doesn't it's sitting great as is. If I had $600 to spare I might pick one up. 👍👍

Looks good..if you rotated your rear leaf shackle mounts 180. Maybe it'll angle the shake more fwd so the leaf can compress easier 🤷🏼♂️

I found the discontinued lwb chassis kit with 2-speed transmission and Toyota axles. I tried to mount the xtracab on my Gmade Gs02f chassis but I was going to have to hack the interior to make it fit

After removing the lift blocks, do you think adding the wedge blocks to rotate the angle of the pinion would benefit this one?
It really doesn’t need it in my opinion. The pinion angles are as good as every other tf2.
Leaf purches were the leaf shackle mounts is on backwards isn’t it? That angle doesn’t look right for the suspension to cycle
That’s how they should be. It’s just the lift block situation exaggerating the look. Once the leafs break in a little it will bend the right direction. Partly why I removed the blocks.
Will you be putting in the Bowhouse rear Shackle mounts?
I believe they are the same as the ones on these newer tf2’s. Rc4wd started using something similar back on the marlin crawler.

What size grub screws are you using for your TF2 trucks to hold the bodies. I need to swap all mine over.
Just m3, any length between 8mm and 12mm or so will work
