I am in Melbourne Australia and have been scratch building RC model boats for over 30 years and also run a Hobby shop and have never heard of this USTE before seeing this video today (5 AUGUST 2023). I have just got into the RC car side of things by purchasing a WPL C54-1 80 series Landcruiser and presently 3d printing parts and accessories to go onto my RC car as I have a real 80 series Landcruiser that I drive daily. I am finding it very hard to get some 1/16th scale decals and parts here in Australia, hence the 3d printing but still chasing decals. I love the detail and information presented in this video. The models are fantastic and I can totally understand and get the amount of hours and months spent in building these models. What a great video and I look forward to seeing more.

Holy crap!!! I'm 53 now, but haven't played with rc's since I was a teenager. I loved playing with the limited number of models back then... I had no idea what it has turned into now!!! Great... just what I need... another hobby!

This is a spectacular event! I can only wish that there was the same type of events for military rc enthusiasts here in the USA. The UK is really big on these shows.
This looks like an event that would be very hard to leave. When it's time to pack up and go home, I'm sure it's a pretty sad day. Looks like an awesome event and I hope to attend sometime.
The classes are a brilliant idea - in this world of online, being hands on and the older generation passing on to the younger kids for the future.

Many hours of building cars, and lots of value at this show. I have a mst, with a Mitsubishi Pajero body shell. It is sad, that we dont have a community like this in Norway. I just want to say, I am lost of words.

That's some really cool stuff. I've been into RC cars and plastic scale modeling for a long time. But my RC car experience has been with racing non scale type nitro powered race cars, on and off road. As for scale modeling, it's just plastic kits. However I belong to this big car modeling club in GA and we also hold an annual contest/show. And in order to broaden our horizons we are going to add a class of RC scale models just like what have featured in this video. My club is called ACME (Atlanta Scale Model Enthusiasts). Our show/contest is in late October. We also get people traveling from all over the country to come to our show. I really liked those trucks I saw.

When I joined the hobby about a year ago I started with 1/20 scale hard bodies and figuring out how to paint, mount and modify. I'm onto 1/10 now and it's motivating to see a video where there are so many other people have a passionate level of involvement. Hoping to get there one day! Good job, USTE!

This is awesome!, this is a bucket list event now! I've had an AX10, never really got into crawling tho, traded it and went back to racing short course and 1:10 buggy ...then lost interest in the hobby for a while.. I'm back now and back to my roots, scale RC is freakin awesome! The 1st body I airbrush will be a square body and 1st attempt at rust and patina - probably gonna be a fail but my driving and body damage will make it look legit :)
If there is a full time job in this I would love it,,I love the hobby n every form.

I've been to many of these but the best I've ever been to or seen is the new one started in Southern Kentucky. There's one in a small town called Monticello that is amazing! its next to the Daniel Boone National Forest. its literally brand new which is why you provide havent heard about it yet.
