if you pull the eyebrows up it makes the hairline look smaller, and if you pull them down it makes it bigger. (ofc moving the eyes mouth and nose aswell so ur sim doesn’t like like some alien) 😭 but yeah ive found that helps usually
I was like meeehhhh bet I already know all of them. But I was actually stunned as someone who plays for years I didnt know the eyes shaping and posture fix. Thank you for that! 😄
Same, I didn't know the nostril shape thing. I've only ever known how to change the height and size of them but not the shape!! 😲 and the iris height and posture is new for me too
CAS in Sims 4 gets so overwhelming for me because of the amount of things you can customize. I literally spend hours trying to fine-tune their looks. Sometimes I miss the sliders.
@@mx.menacing Its a game they don't have to fine tune every little thing they can use a base and slightly changing it makes it more like using the sliders. Not do anything to in-depth. I think Carrie was trying to tell them how to do it in a less overwhelming.
I hated the sliders. All your sims are bound to have the same face syndrome because sliders are so limited. It’s much easier being able to fine tune, especially if you’re into making really unique looking sims. But I agree with the initial comment, there’s plenty of base sims in the gallery if fine tuning is not your thing. You can even randomize your sims features or randomize a sim completely and change whatever you want as per your preference.
I already knew all of these especially since I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my sims, the first time I played sims 4 I really explored all of the dragging aspects to make a sim unique and that's when I learned about everything that was shown in this short and ever since I been using all of those dragging aspects for every sim I make to make them all unique.
These videos always offer what feels like really obvious things, but I actually learned something from this one!! Had no idea about grabbing the white of the eye. Guess you can still learn new things after playing a game for eight years 😆
Honestly ive been playing sims since i can remember, it was the first game i ever played. And I got sims 4 like the first month it released and im JUST NOW finding out about the corner of the eye thing and changing the entire shape of the eye. Lol it's weird the little things we dont notice until someone points it out
I thought this was for the new players, watched out of curiosity, thought I was good at CAS, turns I didn’t know most of them… like especially the eyes which will help me do a much more accurate simself
How did you lower the pupils wtf?! I’ve been trying to do that for so long, I thought it wasn’t possible! Why am I only knowing about this now?? Teach me your ways!!! How did you do that!!?
@@amandaannamalid7065 I tried that at the time and it didn’t work😭 It works now but for a long time I’ve been trying to do that and it never really worked. It must’ve been a problem with my sims or computer.
i knew you could change the shape of the eye i just didn't realise you could do it through the tear duct. i've spent so long trying to pull the lid on my sims and missing countless times. this was a big help
one detail that i love about ts4 cas is the fact that you can change your sim's feet size. as someone with smaller feet than the average human, i find this feature amazing and it makes me feel included!
I think doing your best to try to match a picture of a real life person can help! People can be pretty/attractive while still having unique features you might not think to use for your Sims. I downloaded really accurate Sims of characters from shows I like from the gallery and it inspired me to make more unique Sims.
I can’t play the sims 4. I still play the sims 3 and will probably never play 4 but that doesn’t mean there isn’t things they did right. I’m jealous of the sims 4 cas and a sizing up and down objects lol. I could probably get a mod for the second one tho
I miss playing the sims😞 my computer broke down and now I can’t play it. I loved making sims and playing the game. Island living and the seasons were the best part of the game. Thankfully I still have 3 pictures of what once was. Just 3 different images of my sims
Went into this video thinking pff I know all of these already, but the one with the irises up and down within the eye is completely new to me. Thanks for making this video! 💓
If you pull at the end of the eyebrows, you can widen the forehead. Good tips tho, I didn’t know about the adjusting the eyes using the sclera so video was super helpful for that. Ty.
Can you imagine that people who are not developers, has created additional sliders to everything that ea created at first, and even new ones, like torso and legs distance. Check mods for sliders and presets.
When I used to play sims I used molded mouth and nose sliders The mouth slider I remember being by red head sims I think but I cant remember where I got the nose one They were very useful
the amount of detail in cas always amazes me. one of the few things ea did right even in release
they got cas and bb so right (except the swatches) and completely neglected gameplay on release, and the game is still suffering from it😭
@@keeleyy13 I was going to reply with one major example but which one? There are so many...
I knew all of thesesince the first day I started playing the game

You can also change the size of the feet, pretty fun detail. I hope one day we’re gonna be able to change the height too
I used to have a mod that changes their heights as you adjust their feet!
@@ebidy omg thats genius also theres a theory that people that have a bigger feet are more taller so that's interesting

It's strange that the creators would put these details in the game and then just not tell us lol

Did not know we could change the height placement of the pupil, definitely gonna use that now haha
Also if you drag from the tear duct up and down you can change the direction in which their eyes face. Like downturned, upturned, or just centered
Why did I never notice some of these details omg😳
omg your sims looks like me i love this! i don’t even play sims but i watch your videos 😂
dude i got the sims 4 for christmas in 2017, and i only found out about the posture slider about a month ago PFFT-
i'm going to bookmark this video for the next time i play sims 4. this was very enlightening.
Please put this sim on the gallery, I'm BEGGING.

She's so pretty
did you know if you play lullabies on a radio in the Sims 4 with a sleeping toddler, they will stay asleep until their energy is filled
OK the posture I never knew I'm flabbergasted
Me knowing all of these already 😭
The posture was something I had never even considered 😮
So glad to know this now. Awesome!
I had no idea you could change their POSTURE!
Finally my sims can slouch the way I do
These are actually really helpful
that is the cutest sim I’ve ever seen
Aw thank you! She's on the gallery Jazissimming
FINALLY SOMETHING FOR THE POSTURE
I actually know every one of these surprisingly- but I'll say thank you for telling the people who didn't know
people who play the sims and haven't found these details amaze me
I figured out all of this because I test everything when it comes to character customization lol
In detailed editing you can drag the white of the eye to move it without moving the eyebrows
I love changing their teeth. I almost always give the teens braces and I love giving them gap teeth its so cute
I did not know about the iris thing!! That is so cool
he only thing I didn't know was the nostril shape, but that's such a game changer
Also, you can make the feet smaller or larger, because sometimes they look like they have boats on :)

I knew about a lot of the eye ones because I found them accidentally trying to adjust the eye lids to make the eyes less creepy on some of the townies
i didnt know you could raise the irises omg thank you
now I'm about to go back and play with the eyes of all my sims lol

I’m literally in shock at how much I didn’t know and I’ve been playing this game for years-
I only very recently learned about the posture thing. I had wanted that option but it never occurred to me that I could actually do it
Thanks for the posture fix
When I used to play sims I used molded mouth and nose sliders
The mouth slider I remember being by red head sims I think but I cant remember where I got the nose one
They were very useful
Only reason I know all these already is because i grab the wrong spots and grab at the wrong angles a LOT
“Tiny details make all the difference”
You can also change their neck length! I've always wondered how to do that and finally figured it out recently 😂great feature
So useful. Thank you 🎉
Omg her face looks like brooke from dance moms
That posture part sent a shiver doen my spine
Your Sims are so pretty!! I wanna have the game too someday
Knew most of them ,but still got to know a few new ones so that's good
Along with the teeth, you can go into detail mode while their mouth is open and it gives you a new perspective on their face.
i knew all of these except that you can edit the eyes even more through the sclera. interesting!
I figured all that out recently and it really is a game changer!
ur sim is super cute btw
I knew everything apart from the mouth corner shape, thanks for this. Though, you can learn it if you grab everything and move it
Me *cries in console*
Thanks for the tips.
Didn’t know a lot of these and I’d been playing since release
That's why I have so many sliders mod. I knew all of these, and when I learned these I YEARNED MORE
I always give my sims Sanpaku eyes. ( a tiny bit of white under the pupils but no white at the top )
It looks so cool, I don't get why famous simmers make every Sim looks like the same standard Sim if there's so many cool options in this game!
