I love making sims, but it gets to a point where I just took a hour and a half to get started😭😭 (Thanks for the tips especially the base Gallery one I would’ve never thought of that!)
I like randomizing sims until they match what I'm thinking as much as possible so I only have to make little adjustments. I can spend forever on making all their outfits though, I can't stand my sims wearing mismatched unflattering outfits
I wish there was a way to copy the makeup, and outfits to different outfit categories. Or even just switch the outfit your making to a different category. There’s been so many times I’ve been making one of the outfits and went “actually I want this look for cold/hot weather instead” or something like that. Also sometimes I don’t WANT to design 6 different outfits for my sim all at once! Let me just design one, and maybe add more later.
@@ellatobias7664 I have that mod, is that something I can do IN CAS? Because copying and pasting shit in the MCCC menus is the opposite of convenience and kinda defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to do.
Right?? I brought this up in a previous video, so many people said it is possible with MCC but it's like yes, I know that's a solution but it's very slow and still doesn't solve the core issue of it not being a game feature!!
When I had the game before I moved states and had to leave my PC behind I ALWAUS used the gallery “Base Sim” and I’d always adjust some features so it wasn’t exactly like the OG base, and I’d always use CAS.fulledit mode before I found out about the MCC mod
Great tips Ive started just using the same sims Ive already made over and over again Luckily I have a lot, and if I want a newer sim I use the dna, make a child, and age them to adult and delete the original sims I think it's obvious Im not really a CAS player
How do you go online bc when I try to do that it’s just says must be online or something plus if I try to download or place a house from the gallery it just says contains new updates or something but when I restart the game like it tells me I still can’t download/place the house. Why is that?
I want someone to teach me how to make good looking no cc sims while not using any cc at all. Cause i don’t understand how but the ea default skin looks so damn ugly in my game but whenever watching yt videos etc it doesn’t look that bad. Like why is it that it looks so bad for me? 😢
some face/nose/mouth presets are worse with shadows than others! Also a lot of CZcamsrs use modded CAS lighting or game shaders which makes the base game skin/shadows look better without using skin cc. I do have a YT short with tips for making good sims without cc (my most viewed short) if you want to watch it!
The full version of the tips and tricks video includes tips WITH and WITHOUT cc. This short is 2 of the total 16 tips from the long one, nothing "happened" to cc. Console players can't install cc so I give tips for both.
Do anyone have this problem, must sims that are generated are sims that ive deaigned on old saves. The lady with the side part and the asian boy on the side i literally created them As well as the brown skined space bun girl that the sims team loves so much. Is anyone noticing this?!?!
unfortunately by nature "popular" means whichever sims are used the most, and that is usually based on the same societal standards of the playerbase and averages, which are very samey... If you don't mind scrolling a bit though, I still find it's better being able to choose which base sim you start with rather than the random ones

you can! unfortunately you need a mod for it- the mc command center by deaderpool.

Omg yes i need the mod because my spellcaster Sims do their damn magic every few seconds in CAS and it's driving me crazy

I prefer the stand still mod because sometimes i make sims with their body parts exagerate and i can only notice it with the walking animation
You can also just click on the lightbulb down near the arrows for undone

I tried to make a sim look like me and all her kids had lips that look like they are doing the kissy duck lips
Somtimes, aka 90% of the time, I open the sims. Spend 2 hours making a sim. Finally start playing and then immediately turn off my Pc

They are part of the 10-15 base sims that have been in the game since 2014, designed by EA 😊
