I stopped watching when you said you never watched Tombstone.

Traditionally the front sight came to tall. The owner was expected to file the sight until the bullet strike came up to the point of aim.

Pushing the pin in too far to block the hammer is designed for people to be able to carry with 6 loaded chambers. Push the pin, load it up, and drop the hammer on the stop. I'd never use it, but that's why it's there.

First Click is the "Safety Notch".

    @Aspen7780 Před 5 měsíci +1

These pistols were never meant to be carried with the hammer fully down. They have a safety notch, the first click. The Colt manual has always said (all generations of manufacturer) that the revolver was meant to be carried on the safety notch.

Awesome revolve. I have the cimarron pietta 45LC and also the pietta 357 mag. and I love them both. Make sure you check them screws coz they will come loose on you. They all do. And yes that's the 1st. thing I noticed, you said 7 chambers . LOL

  • @theevenstevenchannel8220

If you didn't notice, I mistakenly said the revolver is a 7-shot one time. I don't know why I did that. It's six and everytime before and after I said six.

Just today bought the Cimarron Fredericksburg FA in 357 with color case hardened frame. It is the same, identical, revolver.

If the firing pin wiggles back when you cock the hammer, it actally is safe, there is a transfer bar in the trigger that will only hold the firing pin firm if your finger remains on the trigger

Where did you find that holster? I can't afford a full western rig right now and just want something simple to add to my existing leather belt

Splendid gun. Uberti is really number one for these replicas

Hey where did you order your “Evil Roy” exactly? Sorry if I missed it in the video. Thanks! Great content btw.

I'm pretty sure I bought mine at Buds Gun Shop. They may have gone up slightly since I bought mine. Like...$50 more.

@@theevenstevenchannel8220 Dang, I was about to order the 5.5 inch barrel and .357 but there out of stock on Buds.
Is MidwayUSA pretty solid? Do they sell new or used? This is my first experience purchasing and also first SAA. Wanted something that could handle fanning and quicker action a bit better than other models.
      Really appreciate the quick feedback.

@@MrKyleboywonder Midway USA is a pretty well established company. I've bought things from them before. Never a firearm, but other random parts. It's a shame that it seems the prices are going up, but that may be because they've been discontinued and once they're gone they're gone.

Never dry fire SAA you can break the firing pin.

Stopped watching when you snapped the hammer down on a "supposely" empty chamber.
