This is a crazy whip! Used over 489 feet of paracord in this whip, without counting the fancy knots. Blows my mind that you can do this AND make a video at the same time. Keep up the great work.

I just made a 16 plate 12.5 footer the other day. It's not thus nice, but it definitely works
@@ringofasho7721 nice, that must have taken a while.
I've watched alot of different whip makers on CZcams, Nick is the best one so far.

Thank you for making my whip and featuring it on your channel
You are very welcome Javier!
how much is a standard 8ft nylon bullwhip
How does the triple belly compare to your others?
Raptor Man This is the only real bullwhip I have ever bought, but this whip’s rollout is incredible and it is also very loud (which I love). 2 years later and this whip is still running strong. I always keep up on the maintenance as I like to call it, replacing crackers and falls so I don’t ruin the whip. Overall I am more than pleased with the whole whip and Nick’s beautiful work
Will always be the Bob Ross of whip making.
I only make a new whip about once per year, and every time I do, I watch this masterpiece of a video and it always makes making a new whip feel so much more of an accomplishable task.
I SWARE I'M NOT EVEN JOKING I WAS MAKING A BULLWHIP ACCORDING TO YOUR LAST BULLWHIP VIDEO AND I SEACHED YOUR CHANNEL FOR REFERENCE TO MAKE SURE I DON'T MESS THE WHIP UP AND YOU POSTED THIS OMG THANK YOU
Timing at its finest! haha
I hope you don't mind me asking... I started this whip some time ago, following your original bullwhip tutorial. I had finished the first belly, and then I saw the video you posted about kinks and whatnot in whips if you tighten things too much without evenly distributing the tension. well, in your bullwhip tutorial you said nothing but tighten the transition. now that I'm 2 bellies in, what should I do? Hope that there's no kinks in the future? Or should I redo it

This video is even beyond awesome. Great work Nick !!!
Absolutely love these Nick. Video production keeps going up, and the build quality is phenomenal! Keep it up.
Just finished my first whip using the "current method" video. Turned out great. Looks like I'm gonna need to start a new one. :D Thanks for the videos.
Always love the videos your an excellent teacher
Thank you very much!
Many thanks for your detailed course!!! I learned to make whips!

Dam that is amazing Nick!!!
You ALWAYS make beautiful, GORGEOUS whips. Thank you for sharing. 😉
Thanks man!
I can't believe you did a new video about this! :D I'm so thankful! And your videomaking skills went way up! Will be starting my first whip today!
Actually started and it's looking really good^^ Thank you for all your videos!
Love the video!
Nick, thank you for the Whip Nation plug. Great tutorial on a very nice performing whip
Thank you Roy! You are welcome my friend.
I plan to make one of these as my entry in the art competition of my local county fair next year! Don’t know what colors I’ll use in the overlay yet, but I’ll show you a video when I’m done with it!
Very nice!!
Sir
Thank You for all your tutorials and videos. I took one video and made one for me and turned pretty happy that it was nice. And it cracked real good. Thanks.
Excellent beautiful job.
Always love your videos, Nick. I usually watch them (alongside with the Videos of Alex Jacob/Cobra Whips) while making whips^^
Great as always!
Thanks Jo!
i love bullwhip rings!!!!
Wow i realy like this whip😀😉
Now thats one awsome whip my friend keep the good work👍👏.
Thanks Lou!
I did the same start on the whip I'm building Currently. I wasn't planning on a 3 belly whip though. I just had too large of a rod for my handle. Maybe I will do 3 bellies. I def need more paracord if I do though lol
Awesome!
Nice work keep it up
Love this video. Can you do a video on an 8 ft 3 plaited belly’s? I wanna try it in a small whip but can’t figure it out. Thanks keep up the great work!
I’m making the 10 foot 3 plaited bellies that he has the video on. Any shorter I feel like it would just be a paracord stick with how thick and stiff everything is.
The Bob Ross of whip making.
Thanks!
So, I have no interest in making a whip, but MAN this is a good and interesting video. Good presentation, well explained, well filmed.
Great instructional videos! I think I've been about 90% of your watch time the last few weeks lol. I have supplies on order and am going to start with an 8 foot whip. What video do you have that demonstrates the build and strand lengths? Thanks for all of your help.
Thank you, God Bless
Thank God, bless you. 🤓
I messed up and ended up with a 10 foot.
Still happy with it
Well. This is my goal. Time to take a shit tonne of notes haha
Nice video
Nice vid keep it up
Very Nice! Keep it up!
My life is complete!
And nice whip
I was wondering if you could do some videos about intricate planting for handles.
Top notch vid bro
Thank you!
Can you suggest for me one of your videos for me to make my second whip ever? I’ve been struggling a bit.
First of all, great video, the best out there. Detailed step by step real nice. I've never made an whip before, but I want to try. I like the design of how this whip is build, but I'm wondering if It could be shorter. Or do I need to change the amount of plait overlays and plaited bellies to keep everything to scale?
Keep up the good work.
Experiment. You can do whatever length u want regardless of 2 or 3 bellies. It will just be a little thicker that's all.
Awesome
Thanks!
Lo fai come lavoro sei bravo
hello i am new in paracord whip making and i found your video very useful!! i wonder if i could make a paracord whip with full paracords (instead of gutted paracords)? what is the difference? thanks!
With my lack of plaiting skills i figured id carry the herring bone through the bellies as it may be tighter and stronger.... may take longer but it will be better
I’ve been trying to do the plaiting for a bull whip I am having some trouble with it do you have and tips or tricks to it or videos
Great video, as always! I do have one question; whenever I make a whip, it seems that my strands are always too short (even though I cut them correctly). I don't notice on the first belly, but I always seem to run out of second belly strands just after the first one ends. Do I need to be plaiting tighter or do I need to find my own strand lengths the work for my particular whips?
Thanks
Also, are there any caveats to pre-waxing paracord? I was thinking that it might be easier since you wouldn't need such a large container of wax. The only thing I can guess is that it may lose some of the weight or the wax may rub off. Thanks again!
Is the wax soak necessary? I am starting to make a whip following your tutorial. Just wondering if the wax soak at the end is important and whats the reason for it?
Hey Nick in my bench vice I only got the metal grips in it, I put electrical tape over them but should I make a pair of wood ones in it
First thanks for the videos, I've learned a ton and almost finished with my first whip. What do you do with all the guts? Seems like such a waste, and have you ever tried a whip without gutting the cords? Thanks again.
Nick and i get our paracord from "The Paracord Store." The sell paracord in any color and its gutless!
Thanks for sharing your art. I'm new to your channel but had a question. Why didn't you hide the additional strands like you had with the needle before. To me the previous method seemed stronger/safer. Maybe I'm wrong...I would just like to understand. Thanking you in advance for a reply.
have you ever made a bull whip with leather or any other kind of material and when using leather it must be a big time difference in methods but if you were to use leather it would go viral so if you dare do it do it. thanks for all you do.
Badass
The square start would be better than wrapping strands for starting the first belly. Maybe you should mention this method as well. Nice tutorial though.
So would I use all of these same techniques on a 8 ft whip?
Terima kasih,,, ilmunya.
as usual excellent instruction nick:
question?? maybe i missed it but did you say why youre no longer using carpet tape or dacron in your belly bindings?
thanks
He said it was because it made the whips thicker than he was comfortable with. He mentioned it in his current whip building process vid.
27:20 in my opinion its better not to take out the core from paracord and just remove that 9 inch core where BB-s & steed rod (handle) gets putted xD
Thats what I did, I used some cheap 550 cord that slipped over the handle and removed 8 inch of core.
I wish this was a tutorial on how to make the Indiana Jones whip.
Question..
You use 3/8 sinker cord for the core. But what width cord are you using for the belly raps?
So is the parafin wax soak mandatory? Cause it's well out of my abilities.
Is this a good beginner whip to make or is there an easier whip to make
How long is the fall? I made a 12 ft Paracord whip like he did in one of his earlier videos, but it doesn't crack well. Nice video btw!
Make one overly long and cut lil bits off until it cracks effortlessly
darth sidious refered to you touching the molten paracord barefingered when he said the darkside is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural
Can you make a video on whip holsters ?
I am planning on making my own 10 foot bullwhip using this tutorial but I want to make it with a 8 inch handle. How would I compensate for the cord lengths?
With math
It won't affect the overall length regardless of the shorter handle enough to make much of a difference.
Hi Nick new at making whips were do I get the leaded rope
Nick what happens if your short paracord for a whip? My paracord are coming close to their ends and I’ve got a couple feet of core to go. What should I do?
Use a flame too splice more strands to the short ones. Then just be careful until you plait past the splice.
Dude love the vids how do you buy the paracord
toms creations I personally recommend Paracord Planet
I enjoy your videos and what you do, but I would strongly consider you double checking the strand lengths that you put in the video. For the overlay I think you may have meant 48 instead of 38.
Also how would I go about making my stands longer late in the process of the overlay???
@@AdrianMartinez-xs5so I always use heat to splice the short strand with more paracord. It works really well.
Just be careful until you plait past the spliced point on the strand and it'll hold beautifully.
Should I use coreless 650 paracord for this?
I noticed you didn't use the rug tape on this whip, Is there a reason why you didnt on this whip but on previous whips you have?
He said it makes the whips too fat.
What's that thing hanging on the tree in the background?
Hey Nick - the link to the sinker cord is a page not found. Do you have an updated source? thanks
Hi Sean, here you go! www.theparacordstore.com/sinker-cord.html
May I ask why you had tape on both of your index fingers while plating?
he mentioned during the video, that he kept snagging his skin when wrapping and tightening the artificial sinew, causing blisters.
Hey Nick I can only really afford 400feet of Paracord. From your experience what's the longest whip I can make with three belly's. Is it possible to make something longer than 6' I preferably want a 10 foot whip but doing the math I would need an extra hundred feet of Paracord due to my skill level.
2:09:11 speaking from firsthand experience, I think there may be a correlation between his technique and the multiple bandages on his fingers.
The wrapping on the fingers is used to protect the skin from abrasion and blisters caused by the stress of braiding, but they'll also provide a little protection from a misplaced razor blade from time to time too.
I would like to ask you a question.
What is a good length of the BB or shot loaded paracord strand? What is worse? Making it too short or too long? Thanks!
Do you know what size paracord hes using?
Where can I get some good artificial sinew quickly without spending too much?
Michaels craft stores
I've got a question about returning whips in stock. What if the whip is in better condition than it was on the the customer received it when they return it?
BTW: I've never bought any of your whips.
Hi, as long as it is not damaged returns are fine for in-stock whips.
If only the bulls knew how much effort went into making these, maybe they'd appreciate getting hit by one.
What is up with that spinning cracks at the very end? 🤯 How is that even possible? 🤔The move, where the Performer is like the hub of a spinning wheel and cracking 12 -3-6-9. That was 🔥🔥🔥👍 plz tell me how this is possible. (What I really mean is, how do I accomplish this😀🤷♂️)
Hey Nick, I have a question for you, in an instance where I cannot get paraffin wax or beeswax for my whip, what other alternative can I use? I know you gave the ok about candle wax, but the massive amount of candle necessary to buy is a bit too pricey.
I've just made my first ever whip, a three belly sixteen plait overlay and I am extremely surprised at how well it turned out using your tutorial......can paraffin or cedar oil be used?
do you have a walmart nearby? I bought a whole bunch of gulf wax from there, that's good for waxing whips.
Nick can I use 750 paracord for my core
How many hours would you say it took you to build it? And are you using 650 paracord for all your whips? Don’t know if 550 would be better for the higher plait counts. Im planning on what materials i need to get to start making whips. Thanks in advance
Did you ever find out what size paracord hes using?
@@stevekal2303 nope, he’s big timing us
@@DivertingRose1 hes uses 550. But there this other paracord called whip makers cord.
Can you give me a list of all the materials I need to make this whip?
How do you know how long your strands have to be
How come you no longer use rug liner in your transitions?
Makes the whips too fat. He said in his current whip making method tutorial.
