well that wasn't expected.... While this is not what we wanted to come to when the van arrived, we are PUMPED to start UK vanlife. Let's make some bets. Do you think it was stolen on the boat or at the port?
Stolen on the ship - poorly paid crew.
We were thinking on the boat, just after it left port 🥲
Odds are it happened on the boat. The ports are probably the most secure places anywhere in the nation. Sadly crime exists everywhere but you can cut your chances of it happening by just using your common sense. One good thing though which should make you feel more secure is that despite Europe having more than double the US population its murder rate is about 1/5th to 1/6th that of the USA and its rate of violence is even lower whilst the US rape rate was between 7 to 8 times higher than it is in Europe whist things like robbery are 4 times the rate higher in the US than in Europe. I write this not to knock the US but to make you feel safer and more secure, at the end of the day use your common sense and never be foolish to trust anyone you really don't know. Trust is earned, not given. Hope you have a super, lovely time and lastly just like America has ignorant assholes, Europe has its fair share of assholes too, they are to be ignored and laughed at but luckily it also has some really kind and considerate people who are willing to help. Be safe and hope you have lots of fun.
Hey Kyle and Madie, it sucks what happened to you guys, I literally just spent my first night in my newly van build last night and then woke up this morning to watch a new video from you guys cause I got notifications on a and I'm always ready and excited to see a fellow Vanlifer go on their journey on youtube because to me; it inspires me you so much that you guys are traveling so far from home and in now arrived in Europe! It sucks that this has happened to you guys, I couldnt think of it happening to me..A GOD DAMN FRIDGE?? Who steals a fridge? What goes around comes around and I think one day something good will come back.. I think this is the first bump of your journey and it will be all uphill from there, promise... Keep ya chin up guys!! I wanna see ya's happy and on the road🚙:D :D :D

And right??? A fridge? It’s such a random (and expensive) thing to have gone haha. We had to file a police report in our next video and the police officer told us “well it’s unfortunate that this happened, but the trip can only go up from here, right?” And it’s so true! Oh man, sorry about that guys! We had tea drop all over my Mac book pro and it's so stuffed up and will cost so much to get repaired so hopefully that makes you guys feel a little better 😭great video btw. looking forward to your Europe adventures!

Hey You Two! Why not go to the Zipline in Beteshda, Wales, which they say is the World's fastest Zipline? I did it ( sadly alone ) in 2020, it really gives you an adrenaline kick. The zipline flies over a former mining lake! @@kyleandmadie

u should get all windows tinted as well as using those window covers nothing as effective as stealth
We would love to have the windows tinted, we were just so busy cramming the entire build out into 7 weeks while working full time that we didn't make the time to! Tinting them would also probably help with heat as well :)
Eh... There's always others that have it worse. It is very unfortunate, but NOT surprising. It'll all work out... Blow it off and move through it... It's all part of the adventure. Makes for good stories someday.

Who would do something so Awful probably the Same thieving rats, Who have stolen my stuff out of my parcels from the United States. And it's not once in a Blue Moon, it's all the time.
That sucks about the fridge. I'm guessing it happened stateside. Baltimore is called Charm City but it's more like the HBO series "The Wire". Hope you enjoy England and can get to visit Ireland. You'll have lots of rain but if you'll be there in September the sun will shine a bit more. Safe journey!!!
We are guessing stateside too! Kyle’s AirTag was also stolen and showed that it deactivated soon after the boat left port. A lot of rain you say? It has rained 8 of the 9 days we’ve had the van here 😂 we finally had a beautiful day today. Thank you so much! ❤️

I'd trust people in England more than in Baltimore. I used to live in Glen Burnie and the Inner Harbor Loft Apartments on South Paca.

Dam that's so dam annoying. You have payed a good amount of cash for there services and somewhere within that service your trust has been broken. The company involved should have it investigated and resolved, But you know they wont do shit and it will just keep happening to others. I would name and shame them if they don't investigate it at the least. They broke a trust and somewhere a camera would of seen the culprit. They should not be allowed in that business if they cannot be trusted. Sorry, But i am just mad for you both.
