Them being a pain in the arse when you take them out and causing you to have explain their behaviour to other people. Them following you everywhere even the loo. Sometimes having to clean up their pee and poop in the house. Something they forgot to mention is that a good dog owner knows their pup. Sometimes a dog shows their affection in other ways because of past experiences with other owners (especially if they’re rescues). Example; my dog is part husky but she’s wary of making sounds because she was punished for it before. The fact that she’s getting comfortable barking at foxes and howling at dog videos shows me that she’s starting to feel safe doing so and makes me feel that I’m doing a good job as her owner.
These can be good baselines, and may not provide the full picture of your dog and your relationship. For instance, my female GSD occassionally takes up the spirit to follow me around to see what Im up to but otherwise is content knowing where I am before going off and doing her thing. She's also not the waggliest of babies, but she'll peak happy drop her ears, wag, and bounce when I walk through the door after work. She's a good girl and is her own baby as much as mine! ❤
My Pomeranian is NUTS about me. I am mommy to her for sure. She knows of daddy but he doesn’t give her the attention and care that I do. She sometimes will low growl at him when she’s on her back and he’s trying to take her out lol! He’s like why are you growling at me, I say because you’re not mommy. ❤
When I lift weights , my doggie goes "oh good ! Playtime!" And brings her favorite tug-toy. When we walk, it's for several hours on hiking trails and in nearby fields. Tired dogs are happy dogs
Awesome. I wish my dog would bring me her favorite toys instead of whatever she’s hunted. I know it’s a sign of love and trust and I praise her for doing so, but it’s still gross.
1 of my dogs does 11 of 12. Another does 9 or 10 of these. He doesn't kiss me as much as he used to, but he's 18 1/2, so maybe he thinks he's too grown up. 😉😊😋 The last one probably does 7 or 8. I guess that all my boys love me and I do a pretty good job of taking care of them. 🎉🤗❤

Smelly belly Hi thank you for you don't know but you have been so supportive with your videos and communicating with us we just put to sleep our beloved ZuzzieIrene 21yrsold 😢 July the eighth of 2024 at 5:22 PM And she did all of those things for so many years she was loved wanted appreciated and so needed in this world she actually belonged to my mom but when my mom moved with my sister she moved in with me with us She was a Chihuahua Before she left she made sure that she helped another Chihuahua come into our lives a rehome girl❤ Topana ❤ So that Latimore won't be lonely❤ZuzzieIrene like to steal so I call her Robie that's Robber in Spanish Sweet sweet bread pizza But most of all chocolate it's not good for dogs but seems like she loved it there were lots of chocolate kisses for her😢before she slept 😢 She is a happy girl now💖

Before going to sleep, he suckles on my t-shirt between my breasts. 😂 Maybe he believes that I am his mom. 😊 Taking out the trash or getting the mail results in great welcomes, even though I only was gone a minute or two. He always wants to rest on me, which is quite annoying when temperatures are as high as they are now in summer. Thorssàl is in puberty at the moment, so maybe he will change a bit when adult.

My baby talks a lot to me bur leads me to his food bowl or other places then suoervises !my baby runs around at night sleeps during the day! Due to druggies invading our space i sleep a few hours at a time! Gifts no i dont need half dead mice! My boy kisses from time to time! Last night a thunderstorm scared him but no kissing on his part! I do groom my boy! Im not the yop in our relationship im staff who lives to serve his every whim! After all his breed is considered to be a god in thailand!

BEWARE. This is exactly why people who have always thought chihuahuas are annoying and then inexplicably become possessed by a tiny devil dog hound from hell. Demons or genius? Successful for a reason, lol.
That's me. The doggy love of my life, my dear sweet doggy soul mate Spot died in 2016 and I still miss him.

My heart melts instantly when my Asper pushes his head into my chest. Like he just wants to dive into my heart.
I got an old English sheepdog because she made the previous owners life hell(their words). She is my pure heaven. ❤

Vaccines aren't necessarily good for our dogs only 50% of vets recommend that we should vaccinate our dogs.
Where have you read this? It goes against everything I have read or been advised.
