I am shocked you and Mark haven't covered more in depth on the influence of the IDU and Stephen Harper and the connection to Roman on the Trump indictments. The IDU is having their people try and subvert democracy in multiple countries including helping Trump in the US. This should be massive news that gets shouted from the rooftops!!!

Funny how at exactly @09:11 Lawyer Mark Elias was stumbling over his words that he wanted to say as you know he was speaking the truth so hard they couldn't come out fast enough. Yes, this election, if Trump wins and the Senate and House isn't 60% Democrat America's Democracy will be torpedoed by Authoritarianism. They will force so many new anti Democratic rules through there will never be a fair and true Democratic election ever again. It will be just like Russia's elections where Putin wins by 95% or like a North Korea or Chinese life time family appointment as the countries leader.
Seriously, do Republican's even have a conscience? They are actin like ruthless bloodlust megalomaniacs with delusions of godhood. Supporting a Russian like country for themselves? For what? Money? Using prostitutes to manipulate people of power to make decisions because they accept that's how business is done or will be blackmailed to keep the sex acts under wraps. That's how and why Jeffery Epstein came into being. Not just perversion but as a tool of leverage to benefit the rich and make slaves of everyone else. Cheap labor and low taxes if any. That's what manipulating the courts is really all about. The rich have always wanted this make no mistake about it.
The Rich are cold and calculating, malevolent crude and goal oriented. Authoritarians have had unprecedented success doing this throughout time. "That's the way it's been for the past million years, unfortunately or fortunately." That's the conversation Trump had at some time in his past when they convinced him to run for president. That's why he said that in the hearing a few months ago. He was remembering. Stars can grab them by the yoohoo for the past million years? There are no records about stars for a million years but authoritarians can go right back to the apes. Keep in mind there are bigger fish to fry. That is, if you can convince Americans Trump is just the spearhead of this endeavor. Probably originated in Russia when he had his beauty pageants there. Probably where the conversation was 1st discussed. Trump kept away from running for President before. He simply needed to be assured he would keep his ass out of prison for all his crimes. He needed a way and someone explained it to him.
Sure wasn't his lawyers with all their hair brained legal delays. Of course that is one of the tools for success but they didn't cover all the bases. Judge Merchan is pushing this case forward no matter what. Judge Chutkin must be quaking in her robe afraid to do a an interlocutory appeal. However, she did rule against former President Donald Trump’s immunity claim. Now the case is stopped waiting for the Supreme Court to rule on the decision. She could have refused to allow Trump to appeal or allow for an interlocutory appeal like Judge Merchan did. He's not holding the case waiting right? Judge Cannon clearly is beholden to Trump being appointed green like she was. Nobody doubts that but nothing is done about it. That is stupid considering the stakes. HELLO JACK SMITH... WHERE ARE YOU?
The Colorado Judge McAfee isn't pushing the Fani Willis case allowed for the case to be stopped dead before the election. He has an election on May 21st to continue to be a judge claiming he is bipartisan. Is that playing a role allowing Trump too much judicial preference? Fani Willis was dating someone she hired? Nothing proven but McAfee is letting that go on and on stepping on her claiming the system is prejudice against nonwhites as she spoke at her church. It's true but McAfee doesn't like it having anything to do with him probably. She didn't say it was anything to do with him but there's that election he needs to win.
Colorado is a slim majority Democratic State and why they tried to over turn the election there. That and it is a key State. Seems stupid to me. Everything is so obviously malicious but the courts allow for Trump and the GOP to hold up justice with obvious delays. VOTE BLUE OR BECOME A SLAVE 80% OF YOU AMERICANS. THAT'S JUST OBVIOUS.

No one ever talks about Oregon but in this state our legislature actually passed campaign finance reform this session. They passed several bipartisan bills because they know voters run this state. If they don't do their job, the voters will put similar legislation on the ballot through the initiate process. We have a very democratic form of government that is transparent and works because the voters are very involved in the process of government. We have a lot to lose if Trump gets in there. Need to seriously come to Missouri and get this done here in the awful GOP controlled state. I sent Hawley a petition to vote for the John Lewis Voting Act and his response in sum, he didn’t care about what we the constituents thought he informed me that he voted against it. I responded back to him saying that would help both parties as everyone would be able to vote and he said he voted what he wanted and thought… I reminded him of the reelection in November and I would definitely keep his voting his will come November and I will be voting all 💙 and progressives!!

Unfortunately rural MO LOVES hawley when looking at the MO state voting map only the 3 major cities tend to vote democratic rural areas vote blood red for hawley every time he or some other republican runs.
I am Canadian and after refusing to visit the US because of overturn of Roe and other political issues I will only be travelling to states in the US that are protecting voting rights and aren’t stripping freedoms from women and LGBTQ Americans. I will only support the economy in areas that legitimately support ALL PEOPLE. Not just white straight cis gender Christian Americans.
As a Canadian I totally agree, and have been discussing this with friends and family, most of whom stopped visiting when Trump was elected. We will not be spending our money in any states that are not protecting voting rights and women's reproductive rights and LGBTQ rights. Americans might be surprised how many Canadians feel this way.

One of the greatest weakness of the American republican system, is that you have politicians appointing Judges. Any comment on saying that any part of the Judiciary has a political leaning is an anathema to true democracy. Most modern democracies have a totally independent Judiciary, that have no need to beholding to elected officials. If you want an unbiased system where the courts uphold the constitution and rule of law without fear or favour then you must allow the Judiciary themselves to appoint people based on individual proficiency and past performance.
