If you have money, import a J spec with a KLZE engine, LSD, and 4 wheel steering.
Just picked one up from Japan. Shipping tomorrow to the states
j spec would be the way to go for sure
KLG4 is also a good option for an engine swap. That, or if you’re crazy enough, a rotary swap. Have a buddy down in Puerto Rico with one and it is wicked.
@@laeggroll777 Was not aware of the KLG4’s existence until now. From a quick scan of the forums, it seems like it would make for an alright base to modify, mix and matching the best of the ZE and DE engines with a few aftermarket parts. Just more stuff to consider if I ever find myself owning a Mazda Mx6.

Functionality and performance>Looks and presentation. That should be the focus. I like your other videos about sleepers. You should do suggested performance mods and then after you display potential upgraded figures, then follow up for the people who also concern themselves with esthetics. (How to make 300whp out of an MX6 and how to show it off at the same time)
You wouldn’t need to spend that much more to get it to 300whp. A minor engine build and you’d get that. The point is, aesthetic mods are cheaper because most people can do them themselves. While building an engine, not necessarily
you could get to 300 pretty easy if you have the v6 variant. The four cylinders are dreadful to make power from what ive heard

I own two of them and they're the best in my opinion. And for 900$ that's a great deal. The only problem is that it'll be nearly impossible to get parts for the car for how old and discontinued it is...

I have a 94 MX6 LS, stock engine & exhaust. Body, hood & trunk are dinged up, but she runs.It's not a fast car, or very reliable, but fun to drive. I'm too old now for this type of vehicle, and I really want to sell it, but nobody seems interested in these little cars.

I dont believe they would, if i understand correctly the geometry on the first gen cars is completely different from that of the second gen cars, and was vastly improved over the generation change, 2nd gen started in 1993

Good build but fwd sucks it’s cool in high school but out grew it quick too boring
my rule of thumb is that it’s better then walkin. i got a fwd and it’s fucking awesome, obviously it’s no where near as fun as rwd but u can still drift fwd with so skills

@@dreaminginvalhalla1914 I owned a 93 in cameo white, they kinda suck. The only thing thats good about em is the 2nd gens have good suspension and the v6. First gen ones have turbo variant but shit suspension set up. In my opinion, they kinda suck. I love the cars and plan to get another 2nd gen and a 1st gen but still, they just aren’t anyones first choice ya dig?
I really like the way they look too, but there is just so many much better platforms to build a fwd car off of.
