There it goes our tax money!
Maybe the city should allow more professional artist along with taggers do creative murals on the arches so it looks intentional and artistic rather than street gang and taggers names.
There’s no point of removing the graffiti, it will be tagged everyday and will look horrible. Because the DA don’t criminalize it.
In few months, the whole arches are going to be full of graffiti because is very easy to climb and do it.
Also the city should have private security or public safety patrol it 24hrs to protect our investment, and prevent criminal activity, because is only a matter of weeks before it becomes a homeless encampment if they don’t prevent it. LAPD can’t afford to spend their time there when there’s other violent crimes all over the city.
Finally they really need to put concrete highway barriers in the middle to prevent dangerous street take overs and that’s just my opinion. Have a nice day everyone 😄

Some destroy for fun, some for ego
Personally I'm watching and not caring much because the bridge is a testament to Los Angeles.
They spent millions building this beautiful beast of a bridge, while people sleep on the sidewalks Just on the other side.
They made it specifically for filming, because the old bridge was a filming location.
The filming locations keep Los Angeles popular for tourists.
So they will spend millions on new touristy filming locations, that are beneficial to residents as well.
But they could have spent less, made it just a functional bridge, and used money to help the surrounding neighborhoods.
It can make you angry if you think too long on it.
I live in Boyle, just a few blocks from here.
We in Boyle weren't notified it was being opened, that's how much this bridge was for us.

It is so easy to stop the madness on the bridge, Here are just a few which would work.
    1. Put a solid wall barrier down the center high enough people cannot see over it from either driving or syanding on the sides.
    2. add a TOLL BOOTH and each end and charge 5 bucks to cross it.
    3. install Tactacil Speed Bumps every 75 ft.
    4. Put RAZOR wire on the archs so people canno easily climb onto them.
    5. Make MANDATORY 30 days in Jail for anyone climbing onto the archs and MAKE THE DA enforce it.
    6. Impound the People who break th laws spend 30 days in jail just like their cars being impounded for 30 days and Charge them the cost of their food, medical care etc.
    7. If a driver is UNDER 21 years old suspend their license and Block them from getting a license until they are 21
    8. If it is a ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT or ILLEGAL INVADER from another country immediatly deport them and have them on a permament DO NOT RETURN LIST AFTER they spend mandatory 6 months in jail.
    9. When they post their antics on Social Media, Us ie as proof to prosecute them and lock up anyone making videos of them and posting on sites such as You Tube. etc. as that just encourges more law breaking.

The whole thing is very easy to stop. Unmarked cops walk to the center of the crowd and just do like everybody else is and hold up their phone and get the tag numbers and the pictures of them driving. If they blocked off the street you blocked them off even further but you blocked them off with heavy duty machinery and then as the crowd walks out you give them the warning this time take their names and tell them the next time they are going to watch one of these shows it will cost them $50 and they don't get out of jail until they pay the $50 the second time it's $100 the third time it's $200 and no time do you get out of jail until you pay the fine. If you can't pay the fine then you have to work it off by cleaning off graffiti and cleaning up the city. The cars that get caught the first time it's $500 and you don't get out of jail till you pay it and the toe is $200 if you want to do it again everything doubles on the third time they confiscate your vehicle too bad that's the sentence for doing this in the street. It will stop real fast but only if someone is going to enforce it and it can be done don't even think it can't. The next thing too as they're walking out and you're getting their name and address and giving them the free warning this time but it's $50 the next time. The next time also if you come back you will be searched for any weapons and you will lose any weapons that are on your possession.
