It would be worst for accidents on the bridge. They can put plastic stick dividers with 7 inch reinforcement from the ground so if they go over it, their undercarriage gets fucked and cause damage to their vehicles since they like to slam their ride down anyways. Makes it so only fire trucks and police SUV capable of maneuvering over it in case of emergencies and accidents.

@@meatpopsicle1567 You mean the truth those of us face daily in Mexico City? If we just enforced our immigration laws and stopped allowing millions to give birth to claim their children as Americans, none of this would be happening now, and Los Angeles would still be an American city. When a state, and it's citizens get far much more than we never even asked for, yet it keeps pouring across the border as if their delusional right. President of the Latino Association: "They may be here against the law, but I wouldn’t call it criminal behavior,” she said. "These people are already here." "They just want a way to legally drive and contribute taxes."
Thanks to La Raza Latino Assemblyman Gil "One Bill" Cedillo and his AB60 which hands driver's licenses with automatic voter registration to illegal aliens. Alarms should be ringing for what they've turned Los Amgeles into, yet finger pointers who don't belong here and their countrymen who have turned our state senate into a branch of the Mexican government will label dissenters as racists or anti-immigrant (as if they actually are immigrants). This is the enormous price we are paying for not forcing political feet to the fire to enforce our immigration laws, stopping the ridiculous birth rort, and allowing Los Angeles to become the world's largest reckless sanctuary, staycation destination, and gargantuan amusement park for millions upon millions of illegals. A retrogressive culture with a giant middle finger to our laws, language, culture, flag, citizenship and sovereignty. Each day we ignore this historic deluge, the price increases tremendously. Los Angeles could even now be mistaken for Mexico City. And just like every city in the crosshairs of the grab fest, they purposely seek ambiguities or inadequacies in our laws to beat the the system as if playing the slots in Las Vegas. That law enforcement, fire, and all emergency services are becoming majority Latino doesn't take a genius to realize the overwhelming numbers of illegals that are pouring into the state ("they need to have people to speak Spanish to them"). Right (wink)? Latino political infiltrators born to illegal alien parents are constantly pushing to force Mexico, it's culture, language, irredentism and endless stream of kinsmen down our throats with the risible parroting that they come here to feed their families, are essential, which to them usurps the safety of all of us and our families.
Latinos have taken control of the City Council. City Supervisor, District Attorney, Insurance Commissioner, LAPD (56% Latino), LA Sheriff's Department (90% Latino), California Highway Patrol (90% Latino), LA Fire Department (47% Latino), LA Coroner, Highway Patrol (89% Latino), LA Ports Director, all Union bosses, all Union bosses, City Workers, County Workers, construction workers, truck drivers, delivery drivers, LA Newspaper writers and opinion, local TV news anchors and reporters - are all Latino. There are 29 Spanish language radio stations (yet they are taking slots at English-language stations). Go to the bank (have you gone inside a Bank of America/Wells Fargo/Citi Bank?), shopping, supermarkets, coffee shops, purchase a phone at a T-Mobile store, go to a restaurant, or to any fast food restaurant -- anywhere, every employee and manager are all Latino. They are passing the BAR as noncitizens; have become judges; they are the majority of children in our schools; thanks to their La Raza Latino Assemblyman, Gil "One Bill" Cedillo and his AB60, which hands driver's licenses with automatic voter registration to millions upon millions of illegal aliens, they are the demographic choosing our government by sheer numbers (look at the Newsom recall race for verification). This is the largest misappropriation and infiltration in our nation's history. It is all for them.
Here are just 2 examples (of dozens) of the underhand senate and assembly bills they are writing for their countrymen:
*SB 174: amends existing state law to allow the appointment of any resident over the age of 18 to a civil office regardless of citizenship or immigration status. “California is stronger when we utilize talents of all our residents, and opening state and local boards and commissions to every Californian will allow us to better serve our diverse communities," anchor baby Sen. Ricardo Lara, D-Bell Gardens and the bill's author, said in a statement. “Undocumented Californians are our neighbors, co-workers and parents, and as lawmakers we can’t make good policy if their voices are left out of the discussion."
*SB 960: allows non-citizens to become police officers in the state. Removes the provision that an individual must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States in order to become a police officer. The bill makes no distinction between legal immigrants and illegal aliens bill. "Existing law, with certain exceptions, prohibits a person who is not a citizen of the United States from being appointed as a member of the California Highway Patrol. This bill would remove that prohibition, and would make conforming changes," the bill states.

I understand not letting cars go across but what's the problem with the people? You have police officers on both ends of the bridge so if someone decides to do something stupid they have to walk off the bridge from one way or the other way unless they jump.
I think it's ridiculous to have to close a bridge because you cannot stop people from misbehaving. All that is proven that the criminals are absolutely winning in California. Every minute that bridge is closed the criminals win a little bit more.

It's simply crowd control at this point. Not much more LAPD can do really.

Over the past decades Los Angeles has closed down drag racing strips where you can legally race and safely race. There's no place else to go now but to the streets. In the sixties and seventies we had drag strips to go to and legally race but developers with the approval of cities in the counties say yes let's build condos and houses so we can collect massive amounts of property tax rather than have racetracks.

Real simple, start confiscating cars and driver licenses (forever) and giving out $5,000 fines.

Violations must be severe. SEVERE and people will get the point. If the police open the bridge they should post up a few blocks away. When all the violators show up close the bridge. Arrest everyone who is committing a crime. Takeaway their vehicles for good. Ban them from getting a license for 5 years. SEVERE PENALTIES
