Mine had a full Vance & Hines exhaust, Dynojet stage 2 jet kit, airbox mod (drilled some holes in the air box cover), Uni filter, D.I.D. X-Ring chain, progressive springs, and had my dad's buddy who tuned bikes for baja dial everything in to where it would do power wheelies and rage through whoops no problem

I got the klx needle and the 142 jet separately from schnitz racing at Half the price of eagle mikes. I have some eagle mike products but I do love to save a buck. I also put the Dg v2 slip on exhaust ,pulled the snorkel and opened up the air box. It runs much better now . The tach used to bounce up and down at idle before the mod now it's steady at idle. Big improvement.

Came here to watch your video on your bags and think I will make this mod. I changed my front sprocket to 16, which has improved highway riding. This change may provide the extra grunt to help me feel comfortable riding across Canada and down into the US next summer.
I got the klr dash and added a larger widscreen with a puig deflector and buffeting is now completely gone.
I am currently looking at AVON trek rider tires. What do you have on, and how are they on tarmac at higher speeds?

My KLR will now cruse at 75 - 80 no problem, stock it struggled. The suspension mods are what really made the bike nice to ride.
