- Hi everyone, for 4K I recommend DLSS Quality or Balanced, depending on the size of your monitor you can also try Performance and it might look good. Will only use FG when necessary. I would recommend a 4080 for 4K, 4070 is more apropriate for 1440p or Ultrawide 1440p monitors. RTX 3080 is a bit faster than 4070 in this resolution.

Yeah I'll stick to 1440p because while 4k looks nice, I like to have high fps in native as much as possible and with 4070 paired with 13600k and 32gb of ddr5, I can achieve that. But what really helps the 4070 in your tests is the 5800x3d which is amazing for gaming. If I didn't need to also work on this PC, I would have gone with that cpu for my main build. Very good video and also very nice temps on your 5800x3d
Thanks a lot for your comment Yukeena. Performance is good at 4K but 1440p is the way to go, even 1440p Ultrawide works quite well.
Similar story on my end, although a bit weaker than your machine. I pair my 4070 with an i7-10700 and 32 gigs of DDR4. My PC handles all games I throw at it. Maintains high framerates at 1440p native.
You don't ever use DLSS? I have noticed that with some games, the claim "looks better than native" really is true. Not a huge improvement of course, but it is there. So even if I don't need it, I often activate DLSS quality mode. And of course, sometimes I need to update the DLSS file in the game files in order to maximize the image quality.

@@DeadPixel1105 Very nice! 10th gen still very good for gaming! And yeah I use DLSS sometimes with Fortnite, and I also used it for Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield. For Starfield I didn't really notice a difference which was a huge plus for me and I get more FPS since that game is pretty demanding even for my system at ultra settings. Baldurs Gate 3 same story. While it ran pretty well at Ultra Settings, there were times when it dipped into the 60s, so I use DLSS and that solved the problem and the game still looked very nice and again, I couldn't tell a difference from Native. Same with Fortnite. More fps without having to sacrifice the clarity of the game (since I have bad eyesight). And no worries. I also typed a wall of text lol. Cheers!
for aaa games 45 fps is good, 60 perfect. Lots of games in ps5 goes 30fps, movies are 27fps, so even 30 is playable good.

Is i7 11700 gen good with the 1660s because I get a lot of fps drops even in creative idk why what do you think the best setting will be for Fortnite for best fps and I have my Fortnite on my ssd and I can’t even get 200 fps. It drops a lot pls what do you think could fix this? In fortnite og I was 240 and my game was fine now it’s not even playable
you need a better GPU. games evolve and become harder to run.

galera uma coisa que vale a pena levar em consideração também é a longevidade da placa, se essa placa não tá conseguindo sobrar em 4k nesses jogos mais "antigos" então nos próximos lançamentos ela vai sofrer mais ainda pra conseguir entregar os 60 fps, portanto se vc quer jogar 4k a 60 fps os próximos lançamentos por uns bons anos ainda, recomendo mirarem a 4080 sim eu sei que a 4080 é muitoooo mais cara, mas a longevidade pelo menos vocês terão. A própria nvidia no último lançamento das placas 4070 super, 4070 TI Super e 4080 super disse que a 4080 que é a placa ideal para o 4k, e que as 4070 o foco delas é o quad hd.
oxi? eu tenho uma 1660ti q até hoje tá rodando de boas dentro dos limites dela, imagina essa 4070, se tiver uns 4 ou 5 jogos q minha placa n roda de forma satisfatória é muito e não ironicamente eu nem ligo pra eles

@@joaodobad2284 Eu rodo as coisas em 4k de boas na minha 2070. Nas configurações de qualidade baixa, mas ainda fica bonito e com 60 fps.

Você viu o Red Dead Redemption 2? Esse jogo em 4k numa 4070 pega 8gb de vram e é MUITO mais realista que maioria dos games de hoje em dia...

Fala William, não recomendo meu amigo. Se for pegar a 4070 ou a 4070 Super, pega um monitor 1440p ou Ultrawide 1440p, valem muito mais a pena pra essa placa. Monitores 4K não valem a pena por causa do tamanho, monitores 1440p já tem uma qualidade bem semelhante e pesa menos para os jogos. 4K só vale a pena mesmo só se você comprar uma TV.

@@williambatistawilliam Opa, não vai de monitor 4K não, vai direto pra essa C3 que é sucesso meu amigo. A parte boa das TVs, é que se a 4070 não tiver um desempenho satisfatório em 4K, você pode descer para o 1440p e ainda vai ficar muito bom, infelizmente no monitor 4K, 1440p fica bem borrado.

Boletei hoje uma rx7800 na kabum por 3400 reais, mas acho que não vou comprar. Vou esperar a 4070 ficar neste patamar de preço também. Em janeiro vem as super e a TI super e quem sabe as antigas 4070 caiam de preço.
Tanto a 7800 XT e 4070 são opções bem válidas. Eu optei pela 4070 pelas tecnologias mesmo mas a 7800 XT é tão rápida quanto, dependendo do preço que você achou ela, vale a pena viu. Um abraço Yoda.

Placa mãe Gigabyte A520M K V2 + Ryzen 5 5600G + uma RX 6600 + 16GB 3200Mhz dual Channel + SSD Kingston 1TB + Fonte Corsair CV650 + Water Cooler Game Rise Mode 240mm + Gabinete Gamer Husky Frost HGCM004, ou ao invés da placa da Gigabyte, pego a MSi A520M A PRO?
As duas são bem simples e servirão para esses processadores mais tranquilos, caso queira mais longevidade, tente pegar a A520M modelo ASUS TUF, você teria muito mais longevidade e conseguiria colocar processadores melhores ai futuramente. Um abraço amigo.

why medium?
Because 4070 is not an 4K GPU and suffer to runs some games at Native 4K on Higher Settings, you will only be able to use higher settings if you turn the DLSS ON.
fortnite is running on the RTX 3080 not the 4070
It is actually the 4070 but I forgot to change the overlay when I was trying the 3080. You can see that on the Core Clock and Memory Clock, 4070 reaches 2700+ MHz, a RTX 3080 can't reach more than 2000 MHz. You can also see that in the Power Draw, the 3080 draws 300w at full usage.
