I like the implication that Adam just grabbed a box of whatever was nearest to him and threw it on the ground before running to help Rowan

Man, everyone's performances in this skit were absolutely peak. I have to admit that it was hard to tell if Ellie was happy to see Rowan in distress, or if that was just a fluke of timing, so to speak. Like in real life, when your face ends up making little microexpressions that are either unintentional, or hint towards a deeper held feeling.
I also loved Ellie's item toss, as there was just so much flinging chaos in what seemed to be such a small amount of force, comparatively. Not to mention the fact that EVERYONE ended up with items to toss.
Afaict when Ellie threw her items they cut frames, which is an effect sometimes used in action movies to make hits more impactful.
Exactly my thoughts! That said, she better be concerned about Rowans survival as she had tricked him into giving her higher salary

Correction, Hoodie of Murderous Intent. The cloak is much more diabolical. It will try to trip you or get caught up on things while you're in combat, etc.

a) This was one of the most WTF episodes in a while. I loved the throwing of boxes in the air for no particular reason. I can't but imagine how this skit came to be.
A : "Hey, we should do an episode about a hoodie. Any idea ?"
B : "How about it tries to kill its wearer ? By making him too hot."
A : "This makes no sense, so we can work with that. Actually, let's make the whole thing non-sensical".

It was dope seeing Hamish again in the skit. And as always, VLDL, killed it. Thank you all. I know it’s just one of a million showing a little appreciation. But it’s the least I can do. No matter where in the world I am for work, I can always bet VLDL will have something that’ll bring my mood up no matter how the day is.

I was convinced Rowan was gonna tell Adam he had to pay for that hoodie he destroyed...
Patron: 'Its magnificent. Truly your gift comes from the heavens themselves. Tell me, how were you inspired to undertake such a task?'
Michelangelo: 'I was watching CZcams ...'
Patron: 'You-what?'
Michelangelo: 'I've said too much. Portal awaaay!'
All of this was gold. The sheer amount of time everyone had on hand to spin around and gasp, grab a basket and fling it, everyone had enough time to have prevented further dismay and no one did. This was almost identical to what me and some close friends had done a good decade ago.
We were out in my backyard and had scored some devils lettuce and had whipped out this awesome water apparatus to the party. The bowl piece had fallen off the glass and thankfully did not shatter but had hit the floor and sort of bounced and rolled off the steps leading down the wood deck. it took it maybe two seconds to roll off the first step yet we all had just sat there and cringed at the thought it would shatter upon hitting the floor and just sort of sat there looking at it. The bowl piece tumbled and rolled further along another whole second or two before rolling off the next step as well, and had proceeded to do the same with it taking just as long each time to hit the next step, yet all this time was around 8 or 10 seconds before it finally had hit the cold hard conc floor. Surprisingly, it survived intact, but it was dead silence thru the whole ordeal, and when it finally stopped at the bottom I recall saying out loud while laughing "I love that we all just sat there watching it happen and no one did anything about it." something of those lines, it just comedy gold!
This hit me real close to that moment and man did that bring back good memories!

I totally relate to the need for a zipper. My arms feel more comfortable when wearing a hoodie, which means I often wear them when it's a bit too warm for one. So the ability to open it up is really handy for me.

So the Hoodie should have started off with a zipper, then when Adam points out it doesn't have one, then it shows Rowan wearing a hoodie with no zipper.
Either way, beautifully done. :D

Speeding the sound up to 2.5x reveals Hamish yelling "Oh my god!" at 1:27 and Alan possibly yelling "Don't worry I'm here!" while being interrupted by screams at 2:23

Can I just say how happy I am that the team gets to do ridiculous skits like these. Keep it up, guys! Also, from a fellow person living on a tropical island. The effects non zip-up hoodies have on our anatomy; especially if you can't take it off quickly, is all too real and no less dangerous than actually suffocating 😂.
