- Welcome to Attack the Block, series that looks at animated programing blocks of the past and present. As Fox is set to unveil it’s latest show: The Orville this weekend, I thought it was the perfect time to talk about FOX’s Animation Domination.

This is a great episode. During Fox's beginnings, "The Simpsons" were developed for "The Tracey Ullman Show" that were short segments lasted for 30 seconds in-between live action sketches they lasted until the end of 1989 when the characters have their on show and it was a true success and it has been ever since. During "The Simpsons" run, FOX was on it's way to become a major player. From the Metromedia acquisition by Rupert Murdoch, to the launch of the network's two original comedy programming, "Married, with Children" and "The Tracey Ullman Show", to entering the Reality-TV genre with "Cops" and "America's Most Wanted", to the breakout success of "The Simpsons", to establishing a Saturday morning kids block, "Fox Kids", to encountering a teen market with "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Parker Lewis Can't Lose", and "Party of Five", to the completed expansion of seven nights a week of programming in 1993, to breaking into the science fiction genre with "The X-Files", to acquiring the rights to the NFL games from CBS, to the 1994-1996 New World affiliation switches from CBS to FOX, to the arrival of two of upcoming fifth and sixth networks, The WB and UPN, FOX had finally have shaping up the television industry with the Big Three and becoming the Big Four. Great work, dude. I hope to see some new "Attack the Block" episodes coming soon.

I loved the pre Gumball like animated show Sit Down Shut Up it got canceled fast sadly Adult Swim did air it but was gone fast.

Why was King of the Hill got canceled and why American Dad has to move to TBS?
The series is great I love it but I think more information and research would help.What I mean is you forgot to bring up American Dad moving networks and how reruns on other networks killed the block.
I didn't bring up American Dad shifting to TBS because it was after the AnimationDomination era.

I watch animation domination on fox 100%
Well, their deciding to bring back the block as of Fall 2019 with a new show, Bless the Harts. Which look extremely cheap in animation and like a majority of the shows previously on the block, likely won’t last more than 1 Season. Makes me feel they only brought it back just because they have more than 3 cartoons on the network as of right now.
Imagine if this video got taken down by Fox. Also I thought Allen Gregory was a cartoon from 2000's.
All these TV stations have the same problem... They rely to much on one show for a safety net and never giving any variety pissing off viewers. Ex: fox-family guy/the Simpsons, nickelodeon-spongebob and cartoon Network-teen Titans Go... There's a lot more but I dont really wanna name them all

Simpsons Halloween special are good but literally that is the only Simpsons episodes I watch. I like your new series. I watch the one on Nick on CBS first. Please do more of the Death of Saturday morning cartoons.

I loved the all animation Sunday from fox it was the one day I looked forward to watching fox bit since they added I the live action shows that have no place on fox on Sunday nights I'm down to only watching the Simpson cause I never liked American dad but I liked family guy and the Cleveland show and when Cleveland show was cancelled I was wanting the cancellation to be for American dad not Cleveland and we only have bob cause Allen Gregory failed cause they cancelled bob for Allen
