Oddly enjoyable to read through the comments. We got people who've found this video for the first time, people who have come back for a while, folk talking about their favorite parts of the video, religious folk leaving their opinions about the video (primarily the beginning), individuals stating how much more effective this has taught them than school, etc, etc. Oh, and don't forget the occasional religious brain-rot. Not everybody is too happy about people with varying beliefs, but it is what it is.

For sure. I think this is one of the best ways a video has brought people together. My friends and I loved this video the exact month it dropped in May of 2017. So I do feel some nostalgia for it, although so much of it reigns true today and always will.

At some point various branches of the family owned Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Italy. Also parts of France. The rest of Europe felt threatened by them (for good reason, of course), and this led to various wars.
On this level of detail the Habsburgs didn't have to be included, but it made sense as it's something a lot of people learned a lot about in school.
