Seeing that creeper slowly get pushed by the water into the lava makes me feel a joy I have never felt before
I remember having these books when I was younger and unironicaly doing the spawn beacon thing and I still always build a box around my nwther portals.
To be fair, it's not a dumb thing to do,
I once had a ghast break my portal and I had to raid a bastion for a flint and steel.
That is just a good habit imo. Stops ghasts from blowing them up and gives you a box for if a hoglin decides that you should die

@AdaTheWatcher I had a similar situation but I was new and instead googled up that you need any fire started at the portal frame, and that wood starts burning next to lava. So what did I do? Crafted a crafting table out of wood that doesn't burn (now it burns lol) and waited for like 20 minutes for the fire to appear. It did work but I could've just died instead since I didn't have anything of value anyway.

Bucket of water is the best weapon, pour it on flat land and push any mob back. Its even more a treat with depth strider boots to gain advantage in maneuverability

8:35 if you get stuck in this situation and lack the time or building blocks to survive against enderman, place water at your feet because enderman cannot step in any form of water without teleporting away. This should buy you enough seconds to either eat food or construct proper protections.
