Good review, but there are two things I would disagree with. I recently drove one of these and two things that stood out to me were how quiet the cabin is (I drive an Acura RDX and thought it was quieter than that) and the start/stop which is the best system I've ever driven. It's almost imperceptible when it come back on after a stop. It's so good that if I owned this car I wouldn't feel like I needed to turn it off.

I HATE HATE HATE auto engine off. It is so annoying, the only implementation I've been able to tolerate is Toyota's. The one in the highlander is decent because it doesn't turn off the motor unless you really stomp the brake and I've found under my normal driving I don't hit the breaks hard enough to trigger it.

My Cadillac dealer gave me almost $8,000 credit for my 2019 Subaru Touring plus with other discounts I got the lease to $433 per month, 39 months. Been waiting for the Lyriq which is delayed probably until late this year or early in 2023. DW

For luxury prices all safety features should be standard at this point. Cause there is tons of cheaper cars that have them all standard. You were quite nice about this review. We all know GM cars are falling behind in so many ways. These are too hard to find with the options you want cause there is too much not standard.

Other then exterior styling (which still looks fresh), interior styling, weak engine, suspension - a comparably equipped Acura RDX or Sante Fe Calligraphy (or a Lincoln Corsair) can be bought for much le$$ (I read that on average, 6% of the cost of a domestic manufactured vehicle is attributed to UAW concessions). The RDX or Sante Fe ma be slightly larger, but much better value. Middle America (most who would only consider domestic brands) may like this SUV. GM has perhaps the world's best engineers,; but in America/Canada, selfishness and family come first.
