After he left Toronto he headed off towards Oakville, back then there was more forest and grasslands between Mississauga and Oakville ,more or less, I was 12 and was at a park and I was either coming or going but by a fluke I saw Terry running down the street alone with one or two cars following behind, his entourage, well I realized who it was and then I was doing a double take and as he went by me I said HI and he said hi and touched my hand. I yelled something like good luck and he waved back as he kept going. I never forgot that. He was a great Canadian, maybe the quintessential Canadian, maybe the greatest Canadian.

Kids learn about him for a few hours a year. He needs to be plastered all over the classrooms. Absolute legend. In her early 20s!!
