- This is a personal video of the pre-game warm-up and parts of the Stanley Cup clinching game at Maple Leaf Gardens on May 2, 1967 won by the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 over the Montreal Canadiens. This was the last Stanley Cup victory for the Leafs in the 20th century (and beyond). This was also the last Original Six era game ever played.

From the position of your video, we must have been only a few feet apart 49 years ago. I was ten years old and sitting in the reds directly behind the penalty box. (I'm starting to feel like the last survivor of the Spanish Civil War!) Great video. Really happy to relive the memories.
Jim Houston: Wow! That's awesome that you were at this game. Unbelievable!
I was almost 17 when the Leafs last won the Cup. I still have my diary where I wrote about it! I actually met Eddie Shack a month ago and he showed me his Stanley Cup ring! Still the Entertainer!
Hope you get to see them win again in your lifetime. 🍀👍
Incredible footage John, thanks for sharing this. I was way up in the last row of the Greys on the West side. Now I have a perspective of what it was like from down low.
Incredible footage!
Fantastic footage! Awesome! A++++++++++++++
Incredible 🎥 The lack of fans during the pregame warmup is surprising by today’s standards.
Amazing!
I'm a Boston Bruins fan (and a Boston sports fan in general), but this video brought tears to my eyes. I found it interesting that none of the Leafs players lifted the Stanley Cup over their heads. Was this just not done in the 1960s? And if not, when did that tradition get started?
What is the story behind your remarksble footage? Was it Super 8? Thank you for this. RIP Eddie Shack.

Article says Kodak 8MM box camera. Anyone know how much one cost back in 1967? Cost of developing the film?
