I'm pretty sure the "backlight" button is for the headlight, and it dims the screen because it assumes it's dark outside. Obviously you need a headlight and/or taillight for this to work.
Great video. I’m just back from my first ride with my new Bafang BBS02. Went 8.8 miles and luckily all the right settings were on my display from start. I did change my time and battery indicator from this video. Very cool.
Points at the top left "on your top right is your time" points at the top right "on your top left is your battery indicator".

There are 3 software versions of DPC18 mine has Eco and Sport which has 0-5 PAS very annoying.
Has anyone flashed then display firmware to the newer version as in this video?

Hi I have the DPC 18 screen my question is if speed is set at 32kph in settings if i enable the SPORT mode does it unrestrict the 32 kph speed limit or not ? Thanks .Bike is new did not try it yet winter here lol

I have a 2018 RAD City e-bike. Could I put this display on it or do I also need to change the controller?
My DPC18 works great with a 48V battery, but returns a Code 07 error (excess voltage) when used with a 52V battery charged over the limits of a 48V battery. I've reflashed the motor with a good 52V setting, but still get the error. Could the problem be the DPC18 display? The repair shop wants to order me a better display to fix the error.
Would the Bafang DCP 18 be better than the C961 display based on functionality?

Ya might wanna edit a bit. At :44 seconds you mention top right and top left but its SDRAWKCAB Read that word from right to left. I do have a question. I am planning on building a bike but want to know. Will any particular display give you more power or higher wattage to the motor. Looking at 1000 W and 52 V combo.
Do you not have to set battery voltage? 48v or 52v? Does it recognize automatically?
What is the difference between the DCP14 and the DCP18..? in another video you stated the DCP14 aka 860c.. What is the P860C..? and i have seen a display with a white face, black numbers, then there is the inverted with black face, white numbers.
Which of all these options is easier to see in direct sunlight?

i have wheel and speed limit 25km/h under information tab and it's locked soo i cant change it. can anyone help me how to unlock and change it? thx
Can someone please tell me if this display comes with the mounting hardware (2 screws to attach the display, and 1 smaller screw for the Thumb Switch), and rubber sleeves to mount on smaller diameter handlebars? I bought a Luna Full Color Display DPC-18 as an upgrade from the DP-07 that came with my Luna/Bafang BBS02 750Watt Conversion kit. I didn't receive any hardware and emailed them. They responded "It doesn't come with hardware, but send us a pic of what you received." Which I did and I'm waiting to hear back. But geeze come on.. seriously, No hardware included!? Let me know. Thanks!
PS. I could use the hardware screws from the DP-07, but the rubber gromets/sleeves are different. Plus, I wanted to sell the B&W DP-07 to help pay for the Full Color DPC-18. Kind'a hard ro do with out including the hardware.
Wheel size and Speed Limit options are missing on my Bafang DPC. I have it on Svitch XE+. How do I get those options. Please help !

same here. i ordered programing cable but connection is different (round on programing cable but "5 edged" on bike :( and i cant find that connector anywhere on the internet :(
Why do u choose to have 9 levels of pedal assist? (That doesn't give u more power, it's the same amount split by 9 rather than 5 or 3... It seems very annoying to have to go through 9 levels to get to max power)
That's a great question - my wife's would complain to me that her speed on level two was too fast for her and wanted more control over the level of power. She likes it that way! I'm glad you get the options.
you can change that in the ESC settings when you plug them into your computer
I've noticed on alot of videos there is the ability to adjust the PAS setting (3, 5, 9) My display has all the same options as everyone else EXCEPT this one. I only have the option for PAS 5. Have you seen this before?

@@goldenmotorNA With a programming cable and a computer, you can reprogram the unit to have better control over the assists levels among other reprogramming choices. I bought my cable from Luna Cycle.

The 500c display is a better fit compared to this display too similar to a phone
How do you reset trip, max, avg, Cal, time? No where can I find this info? The only thing I see is to reset the trip every time you turn it on through the settings page. I want to reset these on the fly without having to shut off the bike? Holding 'i' for a couple seconds does nothing?

Lol is not back light. Is for head light if you have installed then you switch it on or of if is on then back light go darker to not blind you in the dark.
Does anyone else find this display super laggy?
Refresh rate is very low and i doubt any info shown on the display is %100 correct
