    Hi! I am a student from The Netherlands and i'm coming to study at NTU for one semester in September.
    I was wondering if there is also a gym with equipment to build up your muscles (like dumbbells, chest bench etc.)?
    Also I heard that on some nights, you don't have to pay an entrance fee to enter certain clubs, and that almost all nightclubs in Taiwan offer ''all you can drink'' once you have payed the entrance fee. Is this true or is this just a hoax/dream?
    Thx for making these videos :)

      Hello welcome to our channel~ There is a gym with all the equipment that NTU students can use on campus. It's in NTU sports center and a lot of exchange students go there to work out. If you think gym on campus, you can also go to private gyms outside campus like 'World Gym'. And yes! There are some certain days like Halloween that you can enter for free.
      And you also can just pay the entrance fee and drink for free all night:)

    do you all speak fluent mandarin? is it recommended to speak mandarin if you are going to NTU?

    • @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411
      @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411  Před 3 lety

      Well two of us not as fluent as the native speakers, but we're good enough to live in Taiwan. For exchange students, proficiency in Mandarin is not mandatory. It is recommended to speak if you're studying in Taiwan though! But for temporary NTU students, language isn't a big deal I think.

      It's a Chinese taught program. But since my department focuses a lot in languages, many classes are taught in English
