@@TheMultiGamerOfficial They are referring to trauma as in blunt force trauma to the head/brain, not emotional trauma. For example say you've been in an accident and slammed your head so bad it damaged your amygdala. You would have suffered severe head trauma in this case.

Just a tip, if you put glitter nail polish on one of those cheap wedge shaped makeup sponges and then dab it onto your nail instead of going straight in with the brush, it'll give better glitter coverage

In most languages in which violett is a word, it means purple or a shade of purple. Though in several languages, lila means purple aswell. It could be the direct translation to english’s purple. And violett is a shade. Or violett means purple and lila is a shade.

Referring back to the witty banter: if anyone is ever painting their kid's nails I would recommend Sally Hansen's insta-dry, literally dries in like 30 seconds so it's really good for hyperactive kids. My brother loves painting his nails with me but can never stay still, it's a good alternative
You think light green would be a good color for the family?
I do like sally Hansen polishes and they do dry relatively fast I've noticed but i dislike the formula of the polish maybe it was just the colors i have or something but i made a lil mess trying to put it on. it wasn't the easiest to apply compared to one of my essie polishes or O.P.I polishes but still pretty good otherwise. Would you happen to know if its like chemical free or anything like that?
@@Pokebreeder personally never seen the light greens from SH (Sally Hansen) but i imagine it'd be pretty nice either that or maybe a blue? There's some very pretty light blues i think would be perfect

@@tulip135 Pretty sure he's still on the team? From one site (Fandom, so take it with a grain of salt) "On October 2021, he became Chief Creative Officer and supposedly still is to this day."
But I think he was in the 10th anniversary stream. He basically moved on up in the team and took a more behind the scenes approach, probably so he could focus on family more (I'd guess). Things change overtime, and this has been a fantastic change.

I think Lila was someone you knew and now she kicked you out of your body. The Sheet Ghost with Tessla Coils called you "Lila", and the phone call near the start of the game told "Lila" to "let them back in".
36:13 This is like an all time GTLive moment that just lives rent free within my head. From the "FEAST YOUR EYES STRUPNEV" and him just exploding. The look of raw confusion on Mat's face, and Mirror Mat going "We may have skipped an ending perhaps" is pure comedic mastery

If one of the questions in the beginning was “I’ll make this face when I have a stroke” MatPat would have NAILED it.

@@Kjf365 I think the dev used some kind of facial expression recognition software for the game. I don't know that much about it and it seems like a pretty simplified form of that, but they mention that on the itch page. Pretty nifty.
idk that much about WaltenFiles to be honest, never really been for me, but the more you play/see them playing the game the more you'll see how Lynchian inspired the game is. Maybe WaltenFiles has some David Lynch influences as well? Again idk I don't really pay attention to that series.
Funny thing i was just watching the impossible quiz episode where Mat said that he really didn't like mustard so I guess he's grown over the last six years

Sometimes I have to do the same thing (actively focus on my facial expressions), especially if i'm dealing with apathy because I still want to interact and socialise, it's just that emotions don't come naturally in that state so i have to simulate them. It's also something one of my partners does as they're extremely stoic unless they've developed a closeness

I feel like this is one of the rare games that actually create fair and not cheap scare, the faces got me
So like, I'm thinking that Lila has taken over the main character's body (William) and William was trying to tell Lila through the phone to let him back in his body (20:37)! In the first ending they got, the Empress keeps referring to the MC as Lila, and the voice over the phone ( 20:37 )was a male's voice. That's why I believe this 🧐🤔
In a strange way, the vibes remind me of Giraffe Town! Everything is vaguely dark and eerie, and there’s clearly a very complex world that we’re not a part of 🤔👀
The what's in my pockets part fit shockingly well for this episode! Since Lila is the German word for the colour purple! So the nail polish tied everything together xD

It would be so fun if you played one of the nancy drew pc games. They are short enough, they only take 3-4 hours, and it's a mystery. Most of all, I would love to see it. 🥰 (To be clear, I am talking about any of them except Midnight in Salem!)

This art style remembers me from another game that I think Matt should check out called World of Horror, it's a cosmical horror Japanese game from 2019
One year later, but a channel called Flaw Peacock just did an absolutely incredible video explaining this game in all the depth you could ever ask for. For any theorists interested, check it out!
did anyone else notice how much he just... smiles? He smiles all the time at random moments. Not a full, hard smile, but he raises his left lip slightly upwards at times. It's easily noticeable due to the way the game is drawn if you know what to look for
I appreciate that I can get both gaming content and beauty content. We love a multi-content channel. Not to mention the banter with mat and matt (who is truly one of the most wholesome beings) is always entertaining/informative
Matpat never disappoints, I hope manly sees "Who is Lila?" theory if Mat ever does one cause I think he should, this series is filled with a lot of mystery and interesting story plots

Practicing the facial expressions immediately reminded me of a Kdrama called Flower of evil where one of the characters does the same thing. It's a really good drama if anyone, including MatPat, is interested.

You can make so many completely deranged facial expressions, I've failed miserably at so many parts of this game, just because I was having waaayyy too much fun making as many batshit insane expressions as possible :D

From what I see, it seems that we are possessed by Lila. Strupnev says that he will carve her out of Will, and when “Will” is speaking to the empress, he says something like “William has done a good job hiding me”

Just emerging from a 12hr power outage across my town. This is just wanted I needed.
I really like the art style of this game, it's very unique. I also love the faces that Matt made, they cracked me up a lot.
Note for Matpat and Mirror Matt
There are two ways to match purple and glitter without it looking tacky
1 for a look that keeps a dark purple mature and stylish with glitter the simple rule is to pair with *Gold* glitter you can match it with a silver but it doesn't work half as well
2 if you want a cute but still stylish look use a lavender as a base and a complementary color for the glitter (like a darker purple blue silver or pink)
PS for applications of glitter in any form (topcoat or actual nail glitter) it's better to use a make-up sponge then a brush unless it's a decent quality paintbrush

Just started watching this video and I'm very excited to see what theories come from Mat. This is a deep, mental game and many thoughts can come from it. Glad to see him finally play it!

The name of the two endings "The Empress (reversed)" and "The Emperor (reversed)" are clearly inspired by tarot which is so cool
The game is weird and creepy, but by god the expression shaping is hilarious. Good luck getting all the endings. There's almost one for every tarot card. Death, Empress, Emperor, Lovers, etc. Some can be quite tricky. Download the daemon dlc and make sure the window is visible because you will NOT understand it without the subtitles. You will also need to check a Twitter page and go to a couple of websites. Sometimes an ending can require something small. What face do you make when you see a dead dog on the street?
This looks really cool. You should keep playing this.

I can relate to difficulties with expressions. Like my face shows an emotion way less or sometimes not at all to what I think I show and feel. Or it can make a different expression. I think it's not as serious as mc, but I do mostly have to consciously set up my face at least somewhat. It can be a struggle, because I'm actually really emotional and I want to show it and also sometimes people make wrong assumptions about me or think I'm lying.
This game seems very interesting! Can't wait to see more of it!
