    I've never had the slightest problem with these Gamo/BSA magazines. In fact, I rate them higher than most.

    refiles and shoots just as well as my RTEN TH

    I wish we could get the Gamo coyote here in the states. I have the Gamo Urban in 22 and I love it.

    I have the Coyote in .22 and also the Remington Airacuda in .22. Both cost £399 brand new and am very happy with both.
    However if I had to choose just one to keep it would be the Airacuda. Reason, better accuracy at longer ranges and better magazines. Granted the Gamo is lighter and handles nicely and would suit juniors or shooters of smaller stature, but being neither I don't have any issues with a weighty, well balanced rifle.
    Plus the Remington comes with a scope, silencer, thumbhole stock, magazines factory fitted swivels, and permanently fitted filler probe to fit a snap-on connector, plus 120 shots per fill. 👍

    I had the same problem with the mags not performing with a bsa ultra se camo limited edition a few years back and after a while I'd had enough and put it in part ex for another Weihrauch hw100 kt which in my opinion are the best no fuss mags.

      Totally agree with you on this. The mags from those guns are an utter innovation! And so simple.

      Hi Chris I have the Gamo Coyote with black resin stock in .22 mounted with Hawke 3 4x50 AO IR (best entry level sight) it's a great rifle for the money so accurate I can follow the pellets through the same hole in the bullseye 🎯 once zeroed in.
      It's as good as you describe except for one very small glitch, the plastic ring holding the barrel in place can move when removing or replacing the silencer to clean the barrel out, I have tightened it as much as I can before breaking it.
      It took me a while to work out why I was sooo off target since the scope was zeroed in before removing the silencer.
      Please keep up the great work. 👍

      @HW77K-SHOOTER absolutely not one thing about shooting is one day you think your the next american sniper and the next day you could not hit a barn door at 30 paces then pick up a spring gun and may as well have fired a shot gun . it a great humbling experience

    As you sat down to shoot you said "right, got the Gamo Phox here", Phox or Coyote? I guess it walks like a Coyote and shoots like a Coyote..... Can be purchased new for less than they're asking for a used one.

    80 shot count and that's bad ,,,,😅😅😅 that's awsome,,,,,gotta look into this gun for my,next purchase 😊

    • @Kevin-mx1vi
      @Kevin-mx1vi Před 9 měsíci

      His estimation of the shot count is a way off. I have the same rifle, and also in .177. When new I was getting 120+ shots from a fill, but at only 10.4 ft/lbs. I tweaked it to 11.4 ft/lbs and now I get around 90 shots before they start to drop a little low.

      @@Jimmycricket- Well, I have no experience of the Reximex so I can't judge it against the Coyote. A friend has a Kral Puncher which he likes and which seems to shoot pretty well. He's a little less accurate with it than I am with the Coyote, but that's probably just down to a difference in our ability.
      Overall, the Coyote would still be my personal choice, though mine has the wooden stock and is a bit heavy. This doesn't really matter much to me because I only shoot at indoors at the local range and resting on a sandbag, but I'd prefer something a little lighter if I was shooting offhand or outdoors. Maybe the polymer stocked version ?

    • @Kevin-mx1vi
      @Kevin-mx1vi Před 9 měsíci +2

      @@Jimmycricket- Indeed, I've had no reliability issues with the Coyote. A number of the lads at the range have owned them in the past, all of them rate it highly, and none report having problems. The filler port seals are probably the most likely part to fail at some point, but that's true of just about all PCPs, and at least it's cheap and easy to fix, with BSA/Gamo spares being plentiful.
      Let's not pretend that it's the greatest rifle around - It isn't, but it does punch well above its weight and offers very good value for money.

    Whole lot of nonsense. First of, what is, in this particular case the meaning of "preowned"? 2.) If it means HEAVILLY tuned, altered, thus lots of money invested in, then one has to be very much aware of it (when considering the purchasing a new one). 3.) At 01:02 you say "Gamo Fox", so is it a fox, coyote or a hyena, pal? 4.) "introduction to high-end PCP"??? There is no such category - it is simply an ENTRY level PCP gun (rifle), that's what it is. 5.) Small shot-count? No way - 80 shots per fill is a very decent shot-count, every air gunner will tell you that. 6.) Judging upon the movement of your forefinger, that trigger-blade travels a long, long way and is weighing a lot.

      I think you might need to spend some time away from the computer? It's nothing to get worked up about old chap. Sure, I called it the wrong name, the other stuff really isn't that important to me. I certainly don't care about it, or your opinions either.
