Had this gun a few months now and found it loves a jsb straton. Starting to make some really nice shots. Ive got a few dings in the stock already so ill be stripping the stock and modify a thumb groove into the stock. Great gun and very, very accurate with the right pellet!!! Going straight through large rats at 30 yards and massive impact in back board. Would love to chrono it, packs a massive punch in 22!! I recommend a good scope with parallax for close range and quick shifts out to longer ranges!!!

Our new Gamo Coyote PCP is shooting 0.4in groups from the first 15 shots I tried with a flathead pellet from 10 metres. At 12ft lbs its hard hitting and with a good silencer down to just 71 decibels.

I just recently purchased GAMO ACCU in .22....so far so good...it comes with a decent scope too with adjustable objective, its a 3-9x40 mm objective..so far so good...I got the premium bundle package ..which it included sling, pellet pen,950 count .22 pellets by Gamo, and Gamo 10 shot certificate....all this for $229 USD @PYRAMYD AIR...just received it yesterday, i put around 70 shots through it...i will keep the scope on the rifle, and for my other Gamo Silent Cat..I will take that one off. that way i can run 2 rifles, ..1 with scope, and the other without scope using the rifles Iron sites, ..(or is it plastic)?...not sure..but they are good(rear adjustable) fiber optic sites, with hooded(metal) front site.

Reminds me of the Winchester Model 1892 (designed for Winchester by John Moses Browning), because of its compact size and weight. Although the stock looks a little beefy"chunky", it still looks like it would be great for handling out in the field. Which was the purpose of the Model 1892. My interests in traditionally styled airgun stocks has gone by the waist side as of late, but I am really liking the Coyote, especially because of the quality you get for a very reasonable retail price. It just looks good. .25 for me please. Thanks for the very detailed video R n L, AGW.

My local gun shop has the Coyote in .177 or .22 and in either beech or the tactical stock for £341.99 inc vat, which seems fantastic value to me. I am tempted to pick one up at that price, as I'm thinking about getting back into target shooting.

Hi, www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk, their current price is £376.99 for the beech or tactical variants in either .177 or .22 so a bit more now than when I posted my first comment 3 months ago. They've got shops in Dorsett (near Dorchester), Exeter in Devon and Newport in South Wales.

I wonder if it has the same trigger unit as the bsa buccaneer?
And also all the rest in fact. Except from the minelli stock on this one, wich is very nice.
It is the bsa (Bowkett's platform??) like the lonestars developed to scorpions, ultras and then the SE's . And from there Gamo made the concept more minimalistic and simple so the crap trigger (buccaneer etc) came in place. And metal was replaced for plastic internals....... and so on.
But after being out from the pcp "scene" for half a year,I now see this Gamo Coyote and wonder if it is any good?
Has it a bsa made barrel? Because that is a giant plus. And what is the trigger like. "Cat 2” ???? Rembering Cat = Crap.
So curious. Because the end of this month I am in the market for a pcp again
And the proven and tested Scorpion SE has almost the ae price as the coyote.

Compared to the Gamo Gx40 the main difference is the extended cylinder, barrel length is the same. So for £50 more you get and extended cylinder and a wooden stock. Much better,, also the huma air reg and fac knock off valve will improve this gun, you can also adjust the hammer spring..

  • @shaneweightman

According to the instructions you shouldn’t let the air pressure drop as low as that one ,, it apparently voids your warranty

I see what you mean on the trigger guard...they should have made it aluminum, same thing with the magazine stop...People look at these things when it comes to their long rifles, I KNOW I DO....thats why I chose a CZ 455 over Savage, Marlin, or Ruger...I like metal trigger guards...Luckily for me , I was able to buy a metal trigger guard from DIP inc for my Marlin model 60..

I had a coyote, the barrel moved, even sent it back to gamo explaining the issue and I received the gun back with the same issue so I sold it, I have a chance to get another for cheap since it was a mistake shipment to a local hardware shop, how do I fix it so the barrel does not move? My other one I even cut the barrel band off and didn't like the fact the barrel was able to freely move.

I have one of these and I have mine in the tactical stock. I have been shooting rabbits at 54 meters and the pellet goes straight through when aimed at vital organs. I found that the trigger when bought the first stage was good but had to adjust the second stage as it was to heavy. I’ve had a bipod fitted along with a silencer and also got a hard case and I’m very pleased. Plus it’s made in the UK since BSA was bought out by Gamo.

      +FISHERMAN PRO -Edited reply-
Sorry that was meant for Ron Cash below, I don't really know for this version as I own a 5.5mm one myself that wasn't reduced in power for the UK market as I don't live there. But my own one specifies in the manual 25 shots with 5.5mm/.22 cal and 40 shots with 4.5mm/.177.
I have yet to run a chrono test on it but when I'm doing my safe short range indoor shooting at home (30m max) I usually do 35 shots and that's when the needle on the reservoir is still just above red for my particular rifle in 5.5mm. When I can borrow a friends chrono one day I might test how it behaves exactly but a gut feeling based on groups at longer ranges 50-75 meters depending on what places I get to shoot it I'd say with confidence that my rifle gets 30 good reliable consistent shots.
If you get a sub 12 footpound one intended for the UK market (assuming they are about) it'll probably shoot a lot more before needing a refill.

+Jon bei I am not familiar with the specifications on the Benjamin Discovery pump. If you have that pump read the documentation if it's rated for those pressures, I know the Benjamin Discovery goes up to a low 2000 psi (137 bar).
In contrast the Gamo Coyote reservoir is rated for 232 bar which is 3365 psi, even if the manometer shows it on the dial that is no guarantee the pump is rated for that pressure. So read the documentation if you have one and if you don't have it try to find out or contact reputable dealers and ask them by email or phone.
Don't rely too much on the descriptions on some websites unless it's the official website or you find a reference to the digital version like a pdf of the manual on the retailers site. I've seen a lot of faulty descriptions on many articles simply because the pressure dial showed it.

Still a great pump gun even though it is mostly plastic, czcams.com/users/postUgkxh4su9YgU1tWmjikirWcKJbjsFLEU62Bc but with care it will last a long time. It would be neat if Crosman would make a commemorative version of this with real wood stock, but of course it would weigh more and cost more, but hey, it would be cool. The included scope is more of a toy, but it does work for backyard plinking. I prefer to use pellets for greater accuracy, but BBs are just as good for plinking. This is not a Red Ryder folks; fully pumped it is 3 times the power of a Red Ryder and can be dangerous if not handled properly. Be safe out there.

Sometimes they come without a fill probe. Pyramid does not have them.
Then when you do get one it may not work. may have to replace the o
rings. once you do end up getting 3200psi it starts leaking 300 pellets
later. in the beginning it holds air very well (2000psi for a week) but
then shot 300 or 400 pellets it drops 500psi a hour just sitting. It
costs a fortune to send it to Gamo for service depending how far away
you live. The barrel does not say HAMMER FORGED. Don't listen to these
salesman. Its made in the EU. The Benjamin is built in America where
some of the best quality craftsmanship is.
