  • The new GAMO GX-250 bolt action PCP rifle may cast a familiar profile to its well-known and respected understudy - the top performing GX40 and shares all of its attributes as well as remaining affordable to suit most shooters budgets.
It carries the same synthetic polymer style stock as the GX40 with a compact, slimline forend that will comfortably grip to most shooters palm sizes with ease. Fitted to the rear of the GX-250 is GAMO’s ventilated rubber butt pad and its raised, yet unobtrusive cheekpiece provides perfect positioning for eye to scope alignment once your chosen optic has been mounted.
All GX250’s have a superbly accurate, UK produced cold hammer forged, free floating barrel that has been choked, chambered and crowned to achieve performance well beyond that of the rifles price point. A two-stage adjustable trigger, manual safety catch and GAMO’s reliable 10 shot rotary magazine comes as standard, as it does with its pre runner however, and here’s where the GX-250’s feature set differs from the GX40, the GX-250 has a considerably higher capacity air cylinder affording more shots per fill - In fact over 25% more shots than its little brother!
The GX-250 affords an impressive 120 useable shots in .177 calibre and 135 shots in .22 cal. GAMO’s removeable low profile silencer is also supplied as standard helping to dissipate any unwanted muzzle report, plus GAMO’s precision made 3-9x40WR rifle scope and one piece mount ensure exact shot placement in almost every lighting condition.
The new GAMO GX250 really is a comfortable, highly functional sporter that will undoubtedly outperform many of its more expensive rivals!

I have this rifle with the Hugo 6-24-x50SFP (SCOL-31) scope, and using BSA Goldstar pellets. Seems very accurate. I did have an issue with the filler port, seems there was a sharp bit damaging my filler probe. However the supplier sorted it no problem at all using my local gun shop. Very pleased with it and shooting accurately at 50 metres no problem. I should add that I have no issue with the safety catch at all, it doesn't get in the way.

That my dear friend , is the most accurate set of shot strings ive ever seen from you ... says a lot about " budget " rifles doesn't it ... the GX40 is an excellent rifle , seems this is way up there anawl .. I'd happily do an HFT course with that .. AND .. it wouldn't be embarrassed ...

Better than the alpha wold safari at 10x the price. I borrow, my father in laws gamo phox, while it felt cheap and clunky the accuracy was exceptional. Once you do the triggger mod, they're great rifles.

How would you compare this to the Coyote?
I like the tactical look of the wood coyote but very undecided and unsure of the difference.
